Hey there fellows addicts!
Just bouncing on by to bring you some important information, especially for those of you still trying to unlock characters. TinyCo has extended the event by 1 day, so you now have until tomorrow, 30th November @ 3PM Pacific to finish up anything you’re working on.
And they’ve also dropped new items into the store, and yippee they all cost emeralds..
AND AGAIN…. THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE QUAHOG EVENT NOW ENDS TOMORROW 30TH NOVEMBER AT 3pm PACIFIC.
Now let’s take a closer look at it all.
NEW ITEMS IN THE STORE
We all wondered why we had so many Emeralds still building up when there was so little to buy with them, now we know TinyCo was just playing with us as they have released a load of fab event buildings that you can get with those emeralds. And they aren’t in a mystery box, so no trying your luck and hoping to get the item you want, they have all been released to buy individually in our store. So what items can we buy?
Emerald City – 2500 Emeralds
Munchkin Academy – 2000 Emeralds
Grappling Apple Grove – 900 Emeralds
Fallen Farmhouse – 1250 Emeralds
WHEN DOES THE EVENT END?
Wednesday, November 30th, @3 pm Pacific. Keep in mind they are VERY punctual on this. There is no leeway.
WILL IT BE EXTENDED?
NO. As the event has already been extended by a day.
CAN I CONTINUE COLLECTING AFTER THE EVENT?
NO. When the Event Ends, it takes all the Event items and Currency remaining with it. That means ANY Character/Costume not completely unlocked and walking your game… will go when the Event does. You MUST collect all the items needed for them to get them.
This goes for Buildings and Decorations. Unlock/Purchase all the ones you want as they will go with the Event.
WHAT HAPPENS TO EXTRA CURRENCY?
Anything linked to the Event goes with the Event, so that means currency too. Use it or lose it essentially.
I CAN’T GET MORE ITEMS!!
Keep in mind the game is set up to pull items from the Inventory Storage first, so if you already have say… 10 of an item in Inventory… you will need to pull ALL 10 items out first before the game will let you buy more.
Place items from Inventory first, then you can get more. Continue buying until you have all you want, then store them away.
QUESTLINES?
The ONLY Questlines that usually continue on after an Event are those directly linked to unlocking a Character and isolated from the Main Questline. All other Questlines are directly linked to the Event and will go with it.
There you have it, some basics for closing out the There’s No Place Like Quahog Event.

Brilliant on tiny co behalf, extention day I managed to get cowardly Joe, wicked witch, Glenda and tick tock. Just that one day extension helped so much and changed the event for me, from the same old same old to I enjoyed it and achieved what I wanted.

Rather happy to report that my message to support has just been answered and they did give me back fifty clams I used to rush. Tiny co have really upped their game of late. Looking forward to the next event now.

I spent clams to make sure I’d get the Wicked Witch just before the deadline and they extend the event by a day. =(

The extension was announced very late in the event. You can in game message TinyCo explaining you spent clams to rush tasks for the end of the event before they extended it, see if they are willing to refund them.

Hope you didn’t bother since they apparently didn’t extend the Wicked Witch as part of this event! I spent clams to speed up tasks and finished with 5-10 minutes to spare and it said “No longer available” when I tried to cash out for the witch. (I spent emeralds to buy other things so time definitely wasn’t up for the event!)

Did you go into the event area in the store, others reported she was in there even although got an expired message. I would contact TinyCo as she should have been available if you completed the Wishlist the extended deadline. The Oz event is still live in my game so you may be able go in and check in your game still.

even with the extension, I can’t get the wicked witch my drops for the drinks for cowardly lion are not that great. So if I get lucky I’ll have him in 20 minutes, getting the witch is out of the question I suppose.. A good event, though more characters then I’ve ever gotten and for the first time I completed the weekly challenges.

If you have completed everything else on the Wicked Witch list, you can put Joe on his Regal task and speed it with clams if it’s all you’re waiting on for the Witch.

The event went into overtime and thanks to some very lucky timing I just got 25 clams for unlocking Stewie so I rushed cowardly lion task and now I have the wicked witch. Best event so far 😀

I just finished all tasks to get Wicked Witch, 5 minutes before deadline today… it says “Sorry, this offer is no longer available.”. I even spent clams to speed up the Cowardly Lion task. Wasted! I guess Wicked Witch wasn’t part of the extension?!!!

Yeah they really should tell us at least 24 hours in advance if they are extending. We spend clams rushing jobs or buying out character unlocks. Or using up emeralds on items and the not being able to get the better items that they release.

I do not think they even knew til just before that it would be extended. My best suggestion on things like this is to message them from your game, let them know how much you spent in Clams, and see if they can help compensate. 🙂

I used about fifty clams to rush regal lion as I thought there was only five hours left….then they extended *insert a few rude words* i let the timer run naturally on his task for unlocking the witch and almost had more rude words when she showed as expired…however she was hiding in the event section of the shop…phew! This has been a great event, just hope the wizard of tiny co will be kind and give me back those fifty clams….it doesn’t hurt to ask after all.

My game already updated and now I can’t get in! I was waiting for my last witch attack to get Joe and now I’m basically locked out until Google gets the update. Ugh!

Glad event is extended, but need to message Tiny Co, because I spent 220 clams to finish getting Glinda because I thought I didn’t have time to collect more items to attack the witch. Then, not an hour later, the event was extended! Bad luck.
On the plus side, I finally got the Emerald City I wanted!

On a sad note, realising I had no time left to unlock the last character, I spent all my emeralds on the new store items. Just now I got the final items for the last building for item drops, and guess what? Not enough emeralds!
Had I known there was going to be another 24 hours, I would not have spent the emerald on what is basically a decoration.
I really wish they could manage their comms a little better…

That was kind of them…I was fighting the crap steak drop rates and was ready to grudgingly drop my clams on the lion, lion’s task, get the witch, then be pissed and rage quit.
…they extended AND fixed my crappy steak drop rate. I am surprised–and in a good way for once.

Poo or no, the flying monkeys is what I was really hoping for..☹️
I did get the fallen house (which doesn’t have the weathervane) & the grove of trees (which shows a yellow center but that disappears when placed).

I’m little disappointed we didn’t get the event falling house as it has The Wicked With of the East underneath and I wouldn’t have said no to a few flying monkeys either.

That was the first event in a long time that I really enjoyed because it was very manageable for freemium players as well. Thank you TinyCo. and thank you Bunny, RussianTigger & Co. for running this great site. Greetings from Germany!

At least I am not alone in the “Spent all my Emeralds because I thought the event would end today” club. That was mistake number one…
Lion Joe and Glinda were just out of reach so I sent all the Water-Weapon earners on their questline tasks. That was mistake number two…
Hoping that I could possibly catch up in the next 24 hours will surely be mistake number three…

This is good news as I may get more meat for Cowardly Lion Joe.
The bad news is I just spent 70 clams to get 70 water balloons to attack the wicked witch cat level 4 (only time I managed this). I only needed 20 crowns for Glinda but spent clams. An extra day means I didn’t need to but because there was only 1 hour left (or so I thought) I spent the clams. Arrgghh!!

i remember a long time ago, Bunny used to say she always waits until the last day of an event, because they often toss new stuff in. So, that is what i do now! I wait until 1p the day an event ends to make final purchases.

Yes same here, that’s what I do, I wait until finan hour or so before then spend spend spend. But I guess that might not be an option for people who have a job or such that doesn’t allow them access to there game whenever they like.

However, I and others did that for the Halloween event and the lava cracks disappeared without warning from the store many days before the end of the event.

Arrgghh!!! After rushing tasks this morning and buying materials to battle witch NOW they extend it?! Cmon tiny co!!! Sorry for the misplaced WTD- but so frustrating!!! I did message, probably get a thanks for your input we’ll pass it along to the team response. *sigh* it was a nice gesture anyway, and I still think I got a bargain for the characters I picked up – so thanks… I’m over it now

Are we ever going to get new character sets in FaceSpace? Like in this event we had 4 main characters, Scarecrow Peter to the Lion Joe. I’d like to have them in a nice set then just randomly put in the ‘new characters’ section.

Yea I got in a bit of a rush this morning and spent a few extra clams on Glinda because the game was showing maybe 6 hours or so left in the event. Then this evening all of a sudden its another day to go. Messaged the tiny folks and let them know a bit of a heads up would have saved me a few bucks. Other than that alls good.

I am a little bit happy, and a little frustrated. I spend 170 clams this morning to rush tasks to get Lion Joe and the Wicked Witch. So I feel a bit cheated that I wasted all those clams and now I would have avoided using them if I had know earlier this morning. Ugh.

You could send TinyCo an in game message explaining how you rushed tasks due to imminent end of event before they announced an extension. I would personally.

I did send them a message. But I suspect I will either get a response along the lines of “thems the breaks”. Or that I would not get a response, as they have real tech support issues to deal with. Rushing tasks with clams is always a gamble, and on this bet I lost. I can live with that. But it still stinks. Maybe they will get back to me. Maybe they wont. We will see.

The Emerald city came into my game this morning and I was very disappointed as I had just bought another horse and was down to 2247 emeralds, as It was the one mystery box item I hoped for felt very sad to miss it. Then I just checked the site and saw the extension, before I spent all my emeralds thank goodness. So now should be able to get it. You ladies do a great job. Thank you.

Ahhhhhhh! I went yellow brick road/horse of a different color crazy and didn’t save for all the awesome new stuff the dropped!! Thank Glenda the good witch for the extension!lol! Maybe I can at least get the grappling trees. Although I really want them and the munchkin academy….flying monkey poo! Lol
