Hey there Addicts!
Just dropping by to highlight a couple of things that dropped into our games today. A new premium character Negatron and a new limited time clam sale.
You will see the clam sale pop up in your game and a countdown timer showing when the sale will end. At that time clams will go back to their Original Price. The offer consists of 20% off most of the clam packs. Below is what I’m seeing in my game but obviously prices will vary depending on country you are in due to currency conversions and taxes.
You can access the offer by the icon in your task bar, your clam purchase icon or the this sale button which will appear at the bottom of your game screen.
If you purchase any of these packs you will get a free New Year’s Countdown Castle.
Also dropping into our games today is the new premium character, Negatron.
Negatron: 250 Clams.
He has various tasks that will drop Green Balls, Turtle Shells, Power Pellets, Rainbows and Robo Fuel.

this event needs to get extended or they need to do some serious work with the drop rates. I’m still on week 3 despite playing hourly (behind like every event) but I am not getting more than 1 present per day which means ZERO care bears per day. Also 10 days and only 2 clouds for rupert who you need to keep the quest line going. this has been the WORST event by far, especially with the horrible drop rates on almost everything. I have messaged in game multiple times and got the typical drops are as intended response. It’s clear they no longer care about the enjoyment of their players and keeping them happy

I’ve not seen a single peppermerry bear yet and am there stuck (AGAIN)! no way I’ll earn Black Jesus at this point. I also spent the clams to get Negatron thinking it could help me but any time I time to send him to task I get the error…

This is ridiculous. I’ve been playing faithfully for nearly 3 years and am ready to quit with this event.

IMO, with the lousy drop rates stopping progress, and other glitches like this and constant crashes when attacking I think TinyCo should be giving us a little more time.

Haven’t bought clams in almost a year. Too many times I’ve bought clams in the past only to get some nasty glitch after I spend them, locking me out of the game and not getting to use what I bought. No thanks, I like to know that I’ll be able to use what I pay for, and with a major glitch plaguing a different group of people almost every event, spending money becomes a gamble.

Much like many others, I’ve played consistently and MAY get Rupert today. Very few bears and beach balls have made this an excercise in futility. What’s the point in playing when you can’t get anywhere?

Yea TinyCo messed up on this event… I am a mostly freemium player but I have bought clams. I fell off about a year ago and picked the game back up a few months back. I would have bought clams with the sale if I thought this event was not trying to force me to do so.
The wreaths for Black Jesus have not dropped in days, I have gotten 4 and I placed the wreath dropping building almost as soon as it was possible and I’m not interested in boosting as I feel like it was purposely skewed.
Oh well, pretty amazing how they don’t see how easily it is to turn someone who would buy some clams into someone who will probably drop off again…. and I check in pretty regularly.
I have attack items for days, and am not going to spend 250 clams to just to get a timed chance at the drops from those attack items…. so much waste.

I play all the time, and have only gotten into phase 3. I just got pixel Lois yesterday. I have a ton of presents I haven’t bothered to open (barrel boxes) because I am not sure what good it will do. I have earned a lot of event currency which looks like it will be wasted. This event seems to be over ambitious.

Open your barrel boxes. Some of them will have the lower gift box in them which can contain clams.

Idk how but seems like TinyCo does listen when I message them in game. They always respond within 24 hours and seem to have fixed the glitchy issues I am having. (not drop rates but actual glitches) and so I rewarded them(and myself) with a package of clams to get the countdown castle. And oh man was it worth it! To agree with jacob-awesome animation deco! And we’ve gotten a lot of good ones for the Christmas event. I love that Bill Clinton started doing his Barbie girl dance!!

I gave up purchasing clams whatever the price a long time ago. The drop rates on this event are about the worse they have been and have no chance of getting Black Jesus so have lost even more interest in the game. In my opinion it would be better for players to swap to Tapped Out which I also play and always manage to get al the content the most I’ve had to spend is a few donuts to get the last items

Yea this event is the worst. Tiny Co dropped the ball here for their end year event and start of the new year. Today I just finally was able to get Ruppert and black Jesus. But there are only 3 days left so I’m not evening going to try to finish stage 5. This event definitely raised my blood pressure with all the frustration of not advancing.

The “Countdown Castle” is probably one of the most awesome animated decorations I have yet to see in the game. That is going straight into my “Retro Atari / Nintendo” themed area! 😃
The clams are expensive in Australia (about $160 for the 3,500 package), so it is great to see them on sale.
I am really going to miss this themed event (just not the drop rates).

sending qbet, brian and peach every 4 hours i am still only getting 1-2 presents max per day. When i try to get care bears i get maybe 1 per day and everything else is candy canes so i can’t get any red triangles. also 8 days in a row without any clouds dropping. i have messaged in game a few times but this event has been the most frustrating, and that is saying a lot considering the way the last few events have gone. just my 2 cents

Same here… I got one package this morning, and zero after waiting 4 hours. Of course when I opened the one package I got blue presents and stuffers, neither of which I need. I haven’t had a triangle drop in 3 days (I’ve cleared bonnie and bruce 2 times each in that time). Tedious, frustrating, and depressing is how I’d sum up this event.

Is anyone else having problems loading? I’ve been trying six 6am PST this morning. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. Can someone please help with how to contact tiny co. I’ve tried their site but I guess I’m not seeing how to let them know. Ugghh

Thanks for this. The crashing is almost always now, I’ve not been able to play much at all in over a week. Was hoping to at least get on to do daily quests and collect clams until this event ends, but can’t stay on long enough. I emailed Tinyco at this address you provided, will see what happens.
