Is anyone also experiencing that when popping balloons, 4 or 5 are alligned, but when shot, only one or two pop? Despite given free darts it did not improve my chances of getting the giant chicken…

One thing I suggested to TinyCo was that they should have an indication on items in the store whether one already has the item in question. They already have an icon in the upper right if you have the item STORED in inventory, but they should also have an icon that says it’s in your Quahog. It was a pain to look through all he buildings in the town to see which of thrnfroffered buildings I already had, and it would be such a boon for players.

Ok, so with all the issues that Android has been having, just logged in and TinyCo has given 24 free darts to apologize/make up for the lost time!!! Very cool of them. I’m among those that are very frustrated sometimes and are thinking about quitting playing. But someone recently said that the game is supposed to be challenging and I guess we’re not supposed to ALWAYS complete the event 100%. With that being said, was very happy to receive the extra darts. Might not be able to get all the characters, but will probably help get at least 1 more than I was going to. Thanks Tiny Co!

ok so ive been playing ive contacted tinyco havent heard anything but since the other day everytime i cash tickets in all im getting now are the building tokens i have all those buildings already i mean come on already

I can’t even believe I am writing this but I should not be surprised. I finally got the 20th coin for Jim Kaplan and every time I try to cash it in, when I click on the bubbles over his head, the game crashes. Talk about irony! It is a miracle that I collected 20 coins. And now I can’t even get my prize. Has anyone else experienced this and what did they do? I have in-game messaged and been told “this is how the event is intended to be played”. Seriously?????

I’ve not got the 20 Tokens yet, so can’t say. But please message them again if you’ve tried basic troubleshooting with no luck.

Yes, I know I am extremely lucky to even have collected the 20 tokens. I sent a picture with all of the clicked bubbles over his head and asked that they look into it before the end of the event. I know many have not collected what is needed yet. Hopefully this can get them out in front of it so a fix can be provided before the event ends when people will be (hopefully) finishing off the tasks and looking to put the character into the game.

This is bizarre and I can’t prove the validity of it ……
I kept crashing my game every time I tried to click the bubbles of Jim Kaplan’s head. I was reading some of the comments here and saw the one about Billy Finn. I couldn’t remember if I had gotten him during the event or not. Well, sure enough I found the Argo ship and there was a gold unlocked padlock. Clicked on it and into my game came Billy Finn. Pretty nice bonus. I thought I would give Jim Kaplan one more try and of course it worked. I wonder if having the gold padlock waiting for another character kept Jim Kaplan from being freed like you can’t craft more than one character in Al’s? Just a thought. But if someone is having a similar problem in that Jim Kaplan won’t work, you might look for an unopened padlock and see if that solves the problem.

It worked for me too. Game was crashing every time i was trying to unlock Ollie. Argo ship and billy fixed that.

Definitely please get clarification on that. Makes no sense “this is how the event is intended to be played” ………..??? Like you are supposed to collect everything and then the game is supposed to crash?

Similar problem with Jim Kaplan except with trying to clear Ollie’s task from the bubbles. It shows with the checkmark that it needs to be cleared but when tapped there’s a couple seconds of garbled audio and the game freezes. I’ve put in an in-game message but haven’t heard back yet.

For the last 5 packages, I only got building tokens. I only need Kapplan. This of course was after being locked out for 2 days. I have a funny feeling I won’t being playing this game anymore.

My last two packages also had building tokens only, and I need Giant Chicken and RR Stewie too, so building tokens shoud be 1/4 chance but no. I found that for me, drops get worse as the deadline approaches in mini events (In the mini event to get Stu and future Chris for example, I only got 2 batteries in the last 48 hours). All my hopes are down again.

You have more than one character, so building tokens should be rare. So frustrating as there’s nothing you can do, clams can’t help nonexistent drops, and all they say is “I’ll let them know your opinion”. I lost 2 days due to the first glitch as well. Ive had bad drops before but nothing like the last two events. Good Luck Rut Chamie.

Maybe this has alreaymdy been answered but how long will this event be running? I was so close to getting giant chicken before and im pumped to get a 2nd chance. Just wanna know how long i have this time around.

glad its fixed was still able to get in just took a few trys to do so with the error wont be useing any clams on this event as im letting them build up 4 next big event so fingers crossed that can get at least one new person unlocked before best of event ends a few more people with darts would have been ggod

The skins are Cowboy Asttronaut Peter, Minstrel Bruce, Cheerleader Bonnie, Centaur Joe, Dino Chris and Fat Brian. The others are all full characters.
As for will more stuff drop, I honestly don’t know, sorry.

Some players didn’t get in to play the event until yesterday due to the Android glitch, so they are playing catch up and won’t have time to be bored 😀 Me I’m enjoying the quiet time as I know it won’t last.

I need all characters ( Chicken , Stewie , Ollie and Jim)
but I only placed the Chicken as I’m not interested in the other characters
got only building tokens on my first two packs
if i don’t place the other characters do i get their tokens too ? as i want to get only Chicken tokens .. or will I get then anyway ??

If you go into Carnival Pack, click on prizes and it shows items that will drop in your game. Mine only shows Kaplan tokens and Buildings Token

FYI – I already had RRH Stewie, Ollie, and Giant Chicken – but the drops for the Jim Kaplan tokens are painful. Have 8 after 3 days of clicking.

This seems to be a vacation for me as I had all the characters and all the buildings except the Jumbotron and Mcburger in Space. I can just level up those characters that aren’t maxed out yet.

Update. I saw an update in the app store so i updated and am now playing the game again after to days of error YEA. Played the event for 5 mins, seems doable. Don’t know if being down for 2 days will ruin my chances for completion, we’ll see.

I suspect that the tasks that make up Pt. 4 will vary depending on what characters/costumes you have: My second task in Pt. 4 is “Trade In Tokens for Red Riding Hood Stewie”.

Good to see (read) you Bunny! Welcome back. I’m liking this one so far, however I am little confused on the number of packs we will have to buy in order to complete everything. The 6 hour task timer for getting darts is a little excessive. But alas, I should be able to get “three” timers complete on any day. With an average of three darts each time, popping an average of three balloons with each dart, that’s 27 tickets a day, with 4 1/2 days left, that comes out to 120(ish), meaning 12 packs. twelve packs with three possibilities equates to 36 icons. I’m still needing a little over 60 icons (19 for Chicken, 19 for Red Stewie, 7 for Ollie and 18 for Mr. Kaplan. If my math is close then it seems like it is impossible to get all four characters? Is this as intended? Event over on Jan 11 right?

It seems so odd that the questlines are different depending on which characters the player already has. Also, I would expect I would have to earn a character or do a character task for each of the 3 characters (since I need them all) to complete the main questline, as in other events. Any chance that there are more parts if a player is missing more characters???

I think this is just simple little Questline, with no parts that stall players while they try to unlock what they need, unlike big event Questlines. The only part that seems to be different is Pt. 4 that we can see. We’ve seen this before, sometimes players who purchase a premium character in an event see a different Pt in the main Questline from others.

I order to complete the unlocking of Kaplan, it seems each of the three characters are needed. Ollie had to scare birds (done: i already had him), RRH Stewie has to Pack a Picnic, and Giant Chicken has to Chicken Fight. So while the Questline only requires one of the characters, fully completing the Event requires all of them.

I already had RRH Stevie and Ollie, but those tasks (pack for Stewie, scare for Ollie) are always highlighted at the top of their task lists! I just keep assigning them those anyway, since they’re funny…
Prospects are dim for getting the big chicken or the volcano insurance guy, though. Not getting enough tokens for them and not much time left. Also my usual strategy for popping two or three balloons at once no longer is working since yesterday, so I’m getting only one ticket per pop. The dart collecting tasks are too long for that to help collect enough tokens.

Wish i could play, still getting error message after 2 days. I’m a daily player and started when the game first came out 3 plus years ago and this is the longest time i have not been able to play, kinda going nuts becouse i know there’s an event and cant play, it’s driving me crazy. Any word on a fix or are android players not allowed to play anymore, please let me know. Thanks.
