There’s a new god joining the many deities of our Quahogs, and this time it’s the Hindu god of wisdom and learning, and the Remover of Obstacles. See, whoever said gaming wasn’t educational?!
With this new Road to Bollywood event, we also get some new Characters. Like Ganesha!
Let’s take a look at what Ganesha can do in our silly lil games.
Ganesha is a Character added during the Road to Bollywood event 2017. As with (almost) all Characters in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect lots of STUFF.
Note: To find the full CHARACTER Ganesha, as opposed to the battle version, you’ll need to look in the shop. Here you can find his unlock requirements.

115 Blessings: Attack Ganesha Boss

He does come with a Questline, The Elephant in the Room, more on that in another post.
Ganesha does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ and XP.
Let’s take a look at some of Ganesha’s tasks:

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event ends.

Another impossible event, or at least impossible to get Ganesha. I don’t really care as all these buildings are going into storage, but it’s still a touch frustrating the Xmas tradition of broken events is continuing.

Same here. Very short and tough event. I would love to get Ganesha as I like the animation. But I just unlocked Stewie belly dancer yesterday and one more day left to collect 70 more blessings which is impossible for a freemium player without buying clams. This is despite my logging in once every 4 hours and using some clams to speed up. Wrote in to tinyco for extension of 1 day who said they have taken my feedback. Pity.

I feel like had they had the drops for the blessings as “always”, as opposed to 80%(?) or whatever like most boss battles I don’t think getting Ganesha would have been much of a problem. They’re pretty costly non-drops because time is of the essence. I know I wont get him short of an extension.

I got Ganesha a few hours ago… Since welcoming him, the Appease Ganesha disappeared. Along with the tasks for offerings. I’m only at 935 rupees for Taj Mahal, Game Show Set and Rickshaw…
Is he supposed to disappear? Tiger Brian and Chris are my only Rupee source now and don’t think it will be enough… 😦

Others reported the same thing happening once they unlocked the Ganesha character with blessings.

Have you been spending clams or what? I literally don’t understand how you can have so many rupees or have finished Ganesha already. I have been playing like clockwork and currently have 42 rupees after just unlocking the yoga place. I have 63/115 blessings, so it’s quite impossible for me to get Ganesha

I didn’t spend any clams or buy any of the premium items and I did get Ganesha but won’t get the Taj Mahal which I wanted more than anything. I’m really bummed

I had 75/115 blessings at the end, and 170 odd rupees… totally impossible for me to get either of them. I played every 4 hours (except 8 hours for sleep) so I don’t know what I did wrong. Perhaps you just got luckier drops – either offerings as they didn’t always drop, or thje stuff to get Stewie earlier?

Not looking too promising for me either as I’m at 60/115. That’s okay – only need 1 more eyeliner for Belly Dancer Stewie.

I’m stupid. Clammed the Stevie costume last night when it became blatantly obvious that the rings and kohl were not dropping. Thought it would help as it said “Always drops” for Sitar, Peanuts and Leis yet only one out of three BDStewie tasks dropped an item, just as ‘common’ as Peter and Jerome.
And stupidly, I delved back into emails and looked at the number of $20 clam crates I have bought since I started this game. I could have bought a new iPad.

Frustrating because it moves so slowly.
TinyCo should extend the mini-event or make it easier to get Ganesha.
It’s painfully slow progress in this one.

Just today have 41 blessings so yeah not going to get him. I can only hit him up to level 2. 7 more veils and I have the stewie costume, maybe that’ll help

Same as me, no way I’m earning him, BD Stewie is a maybe depending on when the event actually ends, I need 7 veils and need seven sitars to hit him one more time, I figure, once more tonight, once in the morning, once at lunch and HOPEFULLY once more in the evening after work (yes, TinyCo, some people work) depending when I can get out of the office…sitars have been the worst of the three drops so I need 7/8 chances, not holding my breath…let’s just get this one over, TinyCo…and give us a little break…
