Let’s get ready to rumble as here it is the second of this events Weekly Challenges! But wait a minute, breathe, yes, just breathe and let the zen calm you before you step into the weekly challenge arena. Ok, let’s go.
Now in the last couple of events TinyCo seemed to be making these challenges just an eensy weensy teensy bit easier and we were seeing a flourish of happy comments, then they upped the stakes again and they got a little harder, so it’s hard to predict what we will get in this events set of challenges.
They could revert to their original form of being extremely difficult to complete, especially for freemium players. If that’s the case just try to see these for premium players, but hey that doesn’t mean a freemium player can’t do it, it just depends where you are in the game and sometimes a lucky guess at what items to stockpile whilst you wait for the challenges to drop. The prizes to date have always been decorations, with the odd building as a Grand Prize, so I wouldn’t advocate spending clams on these, but as always the choice is yours.
Anyway this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it, seems a little daunting at first, especially if you’ve not got any trophies and fight contracts in the bank, but if you have stockpiled some then I can’t see any reason why both freemium and premium players can’t do this as it should work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now, clearing karate kids and samurai, if you do manage to complete it you will be rewarded the Blind Samurai decoration.
And If you complete all 4 weekly challenges, you will be awarded this lovely giant panda decoration.
What do you need to do to complete it, well here’s the deal, you will need to complete the You’re Still the Best Around challenge which consists of:
Peter Starts
Clear 25 Karate Kids
Defeat 4 Samurai
YOU HAVE 48 Hours IN WHICH TO COMPLETE ALL PARTS.

I was surprised to get this one with 10 hours to spare… I had maybe 8 trophies when the challenge dropped and thought I wouldn’t be able to get the 25. Well, I guess I was wrong! I’m actually enjoying this event so far!

Anyone else having issues with game crashing? I cant even get in to message tiny co.

There have been some reports of crashing which appear to be resolved on reinstalling the game. Obviously only try this if your game is connected to Facebook.

i had 20 trophies but i had to use 11 of them to get Kimonos for Quagmire and now Quagmire is the Trigger ? that’s stupid !!
anyway i still need those wooden zokis for him so i’ll probably never get this challenge …

Not sure where else to post this right now but I too am having trouble with the game crashing on the loading screen. It worked fine this morning, but about 10am est it wouldn’t load, on my lunch break I forced stop the game &restarted my phonen, then I uninstalled & reinstalledn again restarting phone in between reinstall. Now I’m on another break this afternoon &it’s crashing again! So frustrating 😕

Quagmire costume IS the trigger. I had same result when i completed costume finally. This is an achievable set of tasks, thank god, and it appears fight contract drop rates have increased in my game, along with building drops. Anyone else noticed this?

Every time I tap on a karate kid my game crashes. Anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried the basic troubleshooting in this post https://familyguyaddicts.com/2016/12/01/family-guy-quest-for-stuff-technical-help-crashing-lagging-game/
Also if you only have one small piece of sidewalk, try to put another few a little way apart so that there’s not too much activity in one small area, Karate Kids will wander between these bits of sidewalk and pick one that’s in a less “busy” area of the screen

The challenge hasn’t dropped for me yet. What part in the main storyline do you have to have reached?

Can’t say for sure as I’m at Pt. 8, but in previous events you had to be at around Pt. 4 or Pt. 5.

Has anyone had crashing issues today? Haven’t been able to log into my game since early this morning on my iPhone. First time I’ve ever experienced this.

The only thing as rare as Fight Contracts, for me, is Trophies! So between them, I’m not so hopeful that this one can be completed… 😦

1 contract per 4 hours from 4 sources seems to be the norm …. so this may be tough…

Seems doable. I need 4 more loser trophies for Johnny so i’ll be fighting the samurai anyway. Kids shouldn’t be too bad since I have 14 trophies thanks to characters like Herbert who can earn them and don’t have anything else more important to do instead.
