Yes, fellow addict investigators there’s a new event in town and it’s full on believe me. So let’s take a look at what Quahog Heat has in store for us.
WARNING: Erisk Estrada is timed, completing Part 4 of the main Questline will activate the 7 day timer, you then only have 7 days to unlock him. Be aware the main Questline is The Color of Dirty Money and as I say Pt 4 will direct you to place him, so if you want to delay the timer don’t complete this part of the Questline until you’re ready.

As a quick aside, a few weeks ago we asked you what you’d like to see on the site and you said you’d like to see the return of an event home page with links to all the events posts, anyway your wish is our command, and you’ll find it HERE soon. You can also access it from the addicts home page by clicking on the Miami Peter event icon.
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.39.0 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.

Chopper Cop Quagmire: Character Costume is 270 Clams. Can be sent on investigations at the Bank and helps battle Bertram.
Miami Cop Peter: You will find this character costume available to unlock in Al Harringtons after The Color of the Money Pt. 2 starts.

Task: Make Miami Cop Peter Confiscate Evidence (6hrs)
INVESTIGATING BANK ROOMS
This is where you will complete investigations in order to drop items, release robbers and bust Bertram. You will see 3 areas you can investigate, 1: Teller Windows, 2: Security Office and 3: Vault, although where you can investigate will depend on the characters you have available to you. The characters that can do investigations are Miami Cop Peter, Chopper Cop Quagmire and Lois, so for now if you’re playing freemium I’d keep Lois free if I were you.
To investigate you will need to collect police tapes.

INVESTIGATIONS BY ROOM
1: Teller Windows: requires 2 police tape and Lois to investigate. Rewards are a chance drop of 4 robbers and an always drop of 3 donuts. Investigation takes 1hr 30 mins.
2: Security Office: requires 3 police tape and Lois and/or Miami Cop Peter to investigate. Rewards are a chance drop of 6 robbers and an always drop of 3 donuts. Chance to bust Bertram once you are further into main Questline. Investigation takes 1hr 30 mins.
3: Vault: requires 1 police tape and Chopper Cop Quagmire or Erik Estrada to investigate. Rewards are a chance drop of 4 robbers and an always drop of 6 donuts. Chance to bust Bertram once you are further into main Questline Investigation takes 1hr 30 mins.
CLEAR ROBBERS
Here is the new little baddie to clear, they will appear to release at Pt. 2 of The Color of Dirty Money, you then need to release them by completing investigations in the bank, it’s similar to what we did investigating rooms in The Hauntening. You will see details of Investigating Bank Rooms above.

FIGHT BERTRAM
Here is another new battle, it’s similar to what we’ve seen in previous boss battles such as the Yeti, only it’s got a twist.
Basically you need to bust Bertram during an investigation in either of the following Bank Rooms, Security Office or The Vault. If you find him he will appear over at the helipad in the event area. Above him will be a timer and a heart meter.
Now the heart meter can vary between 3 strengths and there is no set rule as to the order, it’s completely random what strength Bertram will appear. The heart meter levels are 1, 2 and 6. To defeat Bertram you need to get his heart meter to 0.
Now youve 24 hours to fully deplete his heart meter, and you do so by attacking him with Miami Cop Peter and/or Chopper Cop Quagmire.
Miami Cop Peter’s ATTACK BERTRAM task has a damage score of 1, so that’s what he will reduce Bertram’s heart meter by. It takes 3 hours to complete the task and do the damage.
Chopper Cop Quagmire’s ATTACK BERTRAM task has a damage score of 2, so that’s what he will reduce Bertram’s heart meter by. It takes 3 hours to complete the task and do the damage.
Now once you get Bertram’s heart meter to zero he will vanish, you will get your rewards and then start investigating rooms to bust him to attack again. He will be a very good source of Medical Supplies.
The rewards per Bertram levels are as follows:
Heart Meter 1 – 8 Medical Supplies & 1 Motorcycle Boots
Heart Meter 2 – 12 Medical Supplies & 1 Motorcycle Boots
Heart Meter 6 – 18 Medical Supplies & 3 Motorcycle Boots
***There may be other Heart Meter Levels, but until we see them in our game I can’t give any info on payouts***
There you have what I can verify of the overall basics of the first phase of the Quahog Heat Event, I’m sorry for the delay but Bunny usually covers these posts, and hasn’t been able to this time with the Android delay. I’ll fill in the areas that show they are still in progress ASAP. But if you have any verupted info please share it in the comments.

Huh, so there’s no timer for the Party Yacht the next time you tap the Luxury Wheels and Deals, after you get the Beverly Hills Art Gallery? I’d use up my clams to get that, but my folks told me not to buy anymore iTunes cards for myself.

Just saw there is also a 3 heart health for Bertram that gives 16 medical supplies. I’m not sure about boots since I haven’t started the timer yet.
I’m happy the Discount Detective Agency when placed drops 2 Police Tape. I’ve noticed that sometimes the buildings will drop more reliably than the characters.

I’m at Part 3 and I’d like to delay placing Erik Estrada until I’ve earned at least some of the buildings necessary to earn him. Does anyone know if I can enter Part 4 but not place him? Otherwise, it seems the best strategy is to collect robbers but not clear them.

For me, it did not let me clear the task until I “repaired” him… hence starting his timer. He is already there, so nothing really to “place”. Just the repair.

Is any other android user having their game crash? Game will load, then after a swipe or 2 of the screen, it kicks me out, slams the door and stamps its feet in defiance.
Have low memory graphics on, plenty of ram/storage, etc. Restarted, reinstalled, begged, threatened, stood on one foot and spun around 3 times, sang “My heart will go on” backwards while doing a handstand on the TV and it still does it every time.
Any suggestions?

I went shopping, came back and had two tape. Maybe we got them because of the hold up on android? They didn’t pop up till I reopened my game about 2 hours after finally starting.

2:58pm Android finally had the update for me. Went to play store, opened the game from there, let it run, exited the game, play store showed update instead of play, so I did that and went back in game.

TinyCo have no control over the App stores and you shouldn’t see it as a them,(IOS) and (Android) thing, I’m IOS but I don’t feel good that Android users aren’t playing yet. And this is what Kindle and Facebook players go through every event. The various stores all release at their own pace, nothing any of us can do about that I’m afraid. TinyCo are speaking to them but until the update appears it’s a waiting game. But the last time Android users were delayed, in the Best of event TinyCo did give those players free resources to help them catch up.

I’m guessing that Kindle and Facebook players are a small group. Android is probably the biggest group. It’s very frustrating to read all the comments when we can’t even see what other people are.

Just because they are a small group doesn’t mean they should matter any less in my opinion, every player should be as valuable as the next for me, and I’d loved see us all set off together. But everyone has been affected at some point unfortunately.

Yes it’s darker green and everything seems little duller. I thought it was the brightness on my iPad at first and went into the settings to check.

Don’t know if it’s just me or… The Luxury Wheels and Deals doesnt seem to have an exit button. Tried to check out the first building, couldn’t close the trade-in screen. Had to restart the game.

My android device has the updated splash screen already but not the event itself yet. On the other hand, I might sit this one out anyway — not very excited about any of the prizes or yet another round of samey game dynamics.

You just need keep checking in on your Android device, IOS launched few hours ago, but it’s up to the other app stores when updates are pushed, I can’t give any time on it, sorry. But fingers crossed everyone sees it soon.
