First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.39.0 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have completed The Color of Dirty Money Pt. 8
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.

Kingpin Consuela will now take the place of the “Boss Battle” in the chopper pad area where you battled Bertram in Phase 1
Similar to Phase 1, you will need to Investisgate the Casino Rooms to first find and release Kingpin Consuela. Once released, you can then send Characters to battle her down to Zero Heart Points to get payouts to help you move forward in the Event.
TIMER: You will have 24hrs to take the Heart Points down to Zero and completely defeat the Boss

I have to say I’m pretty defeated with this event. I’ve have played this game since day one and this by far is the furthest I’ve ever been behind. I’m still stuck in Week one because I can’t get Bertram to drop to defeat him. Been like this since Friday night. Tomorrow Is bringing Week 3. Highly disappointing.

i just started week 2 (got the last needed Erik handcuffs from the Neon Tower) and i sent Peter and Erik each to a different room to invetigate (rooms 1 and 3) and placed the first 2 items from the buildings list) .. now i need fish bones also in order to get badges … so let’s see how this goes … i will be focusing on the two hotties baywatch lois and aerobics bonnie .. not sure i want to go on to week 3 or 4 …

Is there a limit on the number of characters like the robbers and card sharks that you can have running around your town, like in previous events with the baddies. Just thinking that if you hit that limit would it then force the prizes to be the other things that are sometimes more useful.

Honest answer is I don’t know, when I was stockpiling fir the weekly challenge last week I had 12 robbers wandering but they still showed up as a chance to drop. However Card Sharks seem to disappear as a drop once 5 are left wandering in my town.

I’m throwing in the towel on this event. I’m getting only 1 or 2 rolls of tape per day and am not able to send Peter or Lois on missions. When I can I don’t get any robbers to clear and can’t get the medical samples. I have not earned enough badges to earn the helicopter. I’m done.

How is the speed for badge collecting going for Phase 2 vs Phase 1? I usually stay in Phase 1 extra long before moving to Phase 2 since Phase 1 is usually easy and only gets slower/harder in the following phases. Seems to help me slingshot in later phases. But this Phase 1 is a beast. Like dragging yourself through mud! Anyone in Phase 2 have feedback on how it compares to Phase 1? Hoping it’s not even slower.. I might just forget this event if so!

Phase 2 looked tough at first sight but I’ve actually found getting Detective Badges a bit easier here, but I think that’s because I have Erik Estrada unlocked and able to Investugate the Blackjack Parlour where he’s found Kingpin Consuela a couple times, and having Miami Cop Peter and Chopper Cop Quagmire I’m defeating her quite quick for decent drops of Old Fish to trade. So for me it’s easier but as I say I’ve Chopper Cop Quagmire and Erik Estrada, without the I’m not sure. Any others got an opinion?

Can’t figure out why I need the donuts. The prizes don’t excited me but the flamingos and now those are missing from my shopping area.
Need to be able to buy robbers with donuts or all my coins.

Really just for decorations just now and more will probably appear each phase. I noticed Pink Flamingo disappeared, I’ll ask Bunny bring to TinyCo attention.

I love this Detective Scrotes and his comments are so funny. And why everyone so excited about the donuts. So far the items they have to buy with the donuts can’t help us or is it just for decorations?

I think players aren’t as much as excited as just sharing info on drops, and we don’t know what else will appear for Donuts later, they won’t be drop items etc, but maybe some cool decorations.

unlocking Erik Estrada is confusing me a bit!?…i am not on this week2 stuff yet, but will be i’m about to be on pt.8 of the week1 main questline. of course i started his timer thinking it would be pretty easy getting him in the 7days. now down to 1day, 1hr left & needing jus one more pair of Boots and 1 handcuffs, &needing ALL of the pink fan mails. well i wouldn’t have started his timer yet if they was jus gonna have the stuff drops in this next week2 as well… IDK but i’m very very confused as you see LMAO i don’t even think this post of mine makes any damn sense😂🤣😑😂🤣😑

The motorcycle boots drop from defeating Kingpin Consuela in Pase 2 and Handcuffs from the Casino Lounge in Phase 2. PSo you can keep working on him and move on to this weeks content.

I would like to point out there are a few characters now that also drop donut boxes such as 80’s Brian’s 8hr task to fix his hair and Q*bert’s 8hr task to go clubbing. I haven’t gone through every costume yet, but I wonder if there’s more hudden tasks for other characters! It’s about time TinyCo actually makes the others useful!

Is anyone who hasn’t spent gold advanced there yet? So far only had one Bertram drop in all the event. I can’t see two Bertram battles happening for me to progress to this point anytime soon. The one that I did had TinyCo forced dropped him for me after messaging them via in game help.

I’ve only spent a few clams to rush police tapes and 40 to get my last handcuffs to unlock Estrada…. I just was able to start phase 2 this morning 😦 hopefully phase 2 progresses faster than 1 or I’ll never catch up. Bertram only drops if you send Peter alone without Lois…. If you want robbers send Lois and not Peter.

At lower heart level KingPin Consuela you can defeat her with just Miami Cop Peter as each attack only takes 2 hours this phase.

I am still in phase 1 and just triggered Estrada’s timer. Suddenly Rick Astley and Pac-Man (both doing tasks in my game) started generating boxes of donuts. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to check if there are other characters who generate donuts and the FAQ is vague about it. The choices seem so odd (Pac-Man is even premium, Rick was an unlockable freemium) and even more oddly, the tasks that they were already doing popped up donuts, that I wonder if the game just picked out a couple of non-essential characters who happened to be on tasks and chose those tasks for donut generation. Has anybody else seen this?
Rick was finishing his 4 hour dancing task and Pac-Man was chasing ghosts at the time they started giving out boxes of donuts (several
each time).

Just discover the Judge gets donuts for being judgey and Qbert for going clubbing (someone else also reported that). Guess I should go through my resort after all!

Went through everybody at what resort and found one more giving donuts: Detective Scrotes bending the rules. Wasn’t as hard as I thought – I just popped everybody out of the resort and went through their task lists, then popped them all back in again. Otherwise all my donut makers were already out in Quahog, doing the tasks that began to make donuts.

My average of ‘police tapes’ is 1 every 8 hours and 4 ‘robbers’ every 2 days
This event impossible and frustrating; i only give up once time, Christmas event.
But this event is worse, to win ‘medical suplies’ you need a lot of luck, not dedicate time to the game, PURE LUCK

I have 4 days left of erik. I need 2 handcuffs for him. I need one more fully defeated Bertram to move on to phase 2. you seem to say that I can still work on erik if I go to phase 2 but I understand what you have is still an outline.
Do you think it is safe to go to phase 2 and start working on that as well or should I finish up erik first? which do you think is better? handcuffs have been doing ok and lois is working on a set now but you know how it goes.

You will get handcuffs from the Casino Floor, but I can’t say how good the drop chance is as I’ve already unlocked Erik. Good luck whichever path you choose

Well I got all eight handcuffs through this, in eight Lois investigations; and also Bertram when I needed to get him. Nice way around the chance drops and tomorrow morning I will have Erik Estrada once Peter kills Bertram for the last time.
Looks like week 2 doesn’t give another character, just Bonnie’s skin. Not sure I’ll bother going further but we shall see 😉

This was a good tip. In the past every time I’ve unintentionally had a ‘do over’ because the game crashed, the drops have always played out the same way on the second attempt anyway, so I was somewhat sceptical.
However, I nevertheless gave this a try with just hours to go before Erik’s timer would expire, it took around 8 repeated attempts for each drop, but I eventually got them both using this technique!
Thanks… if only I’d tried this before then I might’ve had several other missed characters in my game & saved over 200 clams on Black Jesus too!

i’m confused with the Erik Estrada boots so if you’re STILL in phase 1 they still will drop from fighting Bertram correct?i only need 1 pair, needing 2 more handcuffs& also needing ALL of the fan mail. i have a little over a day to get him unlocked, but of course it’s looking pretty grim as always.

I noticed that The Judge and Detective Scrotes both have 6 hr tasks that drop donuts. There might be more characters that do this, but I don’t want to pull them all out of Tan Lines. 😜

They seem to struggle scaling their events now. A year or more ago if one was vigilant and continued to reset tasks on time you could keep up rather easily. It’s become nearly impossible quite a bit for most of the events now.

We seem see couple good events, then tougher, and so on, I think it’s due to them using coding from previous events, so any hold ups or issues follow into the new event.
