It looks like Lois is ready to start saving lives down at our new Party Pier!
With this new Quahog Heat event, we also get some new Character’s Costumes. Like Lifeguard Lois!
Let’s take a look at what Lifeguard Lois can do in our silly lil games.
Lifeguard Lois is a New Character Costume added during Week 2 of Quahog Heat 2016. As with many costumes in the game in order to get her you have to collect lots of stuff! You will be directed to unlock her via the I Wanna Be a Lifeguard questline, at Let’s Play Some Cards Pt. 1. Tapping on Go will take you to Al’s where she can be made.
Requires
4 Sunscreen (Rare): Party Pier
15 Mousse (Common): Bonnie Tease Her Hair OR Megahit VHS Rental
21 Beach Balls (Uncommon): Herbert Watch Junior Volleyball OR Lifeguard Tower OR 80s Miami Founding Father
18 Seashells (Common): Investigate Blackjack Parlor OR Hot Pursuit Mystery Box OR Investigate Casino Floor
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials her Costume requires, it will just take you one second to finish up and “CREATE!” the Costume in Al’s. When the timer is up, just tap on the Check Mark above Al’s to pull Lifeguard Lois into your game.
She does come with a Questline, I Wanna Be a Lifeguard, more on that in another post.
Lifeguard Lois does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP! She can also help investigate The Casino Floor!

I’m on day three of not getting Sharks and still waiting to get the last two shells for Lois. I’ve had Bonnie for 3 days (thanks to the donut mystery box) and just want to move on with the game, and Lois is holding the main line up.

I have only gotten card sharks one time in the 3 days I have been into the 2nd week. (1/18 shells) I have sent Peter to room 3 and Erik to room 1 lots of times. It doesn’t seem to make a difference if Consuela is there or not, I have defeated her 3 times.

Has anyone else noticed that using Lois to investigate doesn’t seem to improve your odds at all? Or do I have a glitch?

Not sure if it’s just a visual glitch but I don’t see any change in odds when I add her to an investigation either.

Congrats!! This is the hardest event character outfit to obtain in almost three years.

Yeah I was a little shocked to get Aerobics Bonnie dats before I got Lifeguard Lois.

Why is it the hardest to get? I’ve failed to get many things in the past, but I’ve almost unlocked this outfit through normal, freemium play. I need 5 more beachballs and 6 seashells. It should be easily achievable…

I think they are referring to the time it’s taken to unlock her, and I agree I got the frikkin hard Aerobics Bonnie days before Lifeguard Lois, should been other way round in my opinion.

It always takes me a week to unlock characters… I usually get them 1 day before the new week starts, or sometimes 1-2 days after. Seems quite normal to me

Last couple events I’ve unlocked the freemium character costume by the Saturday/Sunday or so, they had been a bit easier since Kung Pow Peter. But the Seashells have made Lifeguard Lois a tough unlock, some players still haven’t seen a Card Shark in their game so still 0/18 on the Seashells.

Fair enough… I haven’t really been having trouble with the sharks. I’ve unlocked all the phase 2 prizes & I’m trying to get Robbers at the moment

Yeah getting the robbers to move on Questline was an ouch, but I finally got them using Miami Peter & Aerobics Bonnie in the Lounge.

And that is why I am having problems getting her…no sharks dropping, so no shells. Also, without her you aren’t advancing to the next phase. That has never happened to me before. 🙂

I’ve found my best odds for card sharks were having Kingpin Consuela up but rather than attaching her, have Peter investigate the casino floor. I’m a freemium player and I achieved all my shells within 2 days from card sharks doing it this way!
