Hi there fellow addicts.
Yes, finally they’re in, the results from our Undercover Gigg-Olo event poll are here and I think you’ll agree the results show very well what many of you said in the comments, that this short event was ok but a little repetitive, and that Big Pete Peter was a tough unlock.
Firstly I’d like to take a minute to give a big thanks to all my fellow addicts who take the time to respond to these polls, without your interaction it just wouldn’t be possible to have posts like this, or to show TinyCo what we are thinking and would like to see in our games going forward. So thanks for taking that minute out of your day to be part of this community..
Now in the last poll you’ll remember I added a few questions that will appear in all polls going forward, they are just to give a quick insight into our thoughts about events. They cover the fun factor in the event, how you describe the event and you’re favourite character or costume from the event.
So I’ll start with these, then get on with all the usual facts and figures. So I asked you to rate how much fun the event was, where 1 is no fun and 5 is lots of fun, I also asked you to choose from a list of words the one you felt described the event best and finally your favourite new character or costume released during the event, so here’s what you said.
Undercover Gigg-Olo Event Fun Factor Rating:
3
Seems like this was seen as ok on the fun meter but nothing to get really excited about by the majority of players. This is probably due to the repetitive nature of the event after a day or two.
The three words used most to describe the Undercover Gigg-Olo event:
Amusing. Boring. Hard.
I’m not sure I’d have chose any of these words to describe the event personally but lots of you guys did.
Most popular new character or costume released during the Undercover Gigg-Olo Event:
Pimp Stewie
This was a surprise, I thought Charmisse would win this hands down, but nope Pimp Stewie stole the show for this event.

I stopped playing the event 3 days before it finished simply because the police tape suddenly dried up, I got 2 in a 24hr period. I figured Tiny scaled it back in an attempt to generate spending as the event came to an end and I’m not falling for that. I can live without Pamela Anderson. I’ve learnt over the years that if you manage your own expectations playing the game and accept that it’s unlikely that you’ll complete everything it’s more enjoyable and much cheaper.

I enjoyed it as a mini event, perhaps if it went on longer I would have got bored but having returning characters to find kept the incentive going for me. If you had to find them and then get stuff for them then that might have ruined it but it was fine as it was.

yeah i got Brian after like 2 investigations and the 10 seconds timing was good too .. not 4 long hours waiting for a tape that won’t drop :p
