MIGHTY MORPHIN GRIFFIN RANGERS EVENT ENDS 4/19/2017 @3PM PACIFIC
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.43.2 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.
- This event is not available in these countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam; Israel, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Afghanistan.

3/25 UPDATE: Many of you are saying after you complete Pt. 6 of the Questline, Part 7 is not triggering. Bunny didn’t have any issues in her test game, but I’ve hit the same problem. It has been reported to TinyCo. ***They have now pushed a fix for this issue***

TIMER WARNING: Red Ranger is timed, completing Part 5 of this Questline will activate the 7 day timer, you then only have 7 days to unlock him, so if you want to delay the timer don’t complete this part of the Questline until you’re ready.
Find the Red Ranger: Tap Go, and you will be taken to the Ice Cream Van in the event area, where you will do the repair to start unlocking The Red Ranger. Repair cost is $10 and takes 10 secs, as soon as this is done you will the Red Ranger and his 7 day unlock timer will start.
Clear 18 Putty Cosplayers: Wait for Putty Cosplayers to appear on your sidewalks, then clear 18 by tapping on them.

I’m not usually one to complain as I 99% of the time have plenty of time to complete unlocks…..but the wristband/watch things for red ranger are IMPOSSIBLE, I have the building and have sent mort and herbert on the task as soon as they finish since I started the timer….so far I have only gotten 4 of the wristbands…I only have 2 days left on my timer, so for this to be able to be finished without spending clams is a complete lie as far as my game has gone, I have even been setting alarms while I sleep to get up to send them on the task again and collect from the building, I haven’t wasted more than about 10 minutes of time and have only dropped 4 of them

I’ve had better drops of them, I just need 1 and I’ve unlocked him, but I’ve been resting the tasks day and night also. If you think they’ve completely stopped dropping please send TinyCo a support message and ask them to check drops in your game.

The Power Morpher drops are atrocious. So far of the 6 times I had Zord perform task that gives them, only got one. That’s unacceptable for a common item. Especially one that takes so much effort and time to obtain. Waste of crystals.

*groan* Facebook players STILL have the T-Zord Bug, as soon as you click on him the game crashes every time, can’t even get as far as decombining. According to Tiny-Co they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. shame its not as speedy a fix as people are reporting for the Decombine T-Zord, 3 days wait now? Oh well, gives time to catch up on character quests I guess .

I’d concentrate on unlocking Red Ranger Peter whilst they do a fix as once you’ve got him you’ll be able to get stronger T Zord

That is the thing though you need to use T Zord to get the red ranger and every time you do a task the game crashes and there is no way to complete the task.

Plus it puts you behind on getting Kaiju as you either risk starting the red ranger timer to get to the Kaiju part which you need to open some buildings or wait till it is fixed (as it has been two days now) and risk being behind on the taskline.

iOs is having the same problem – when I click on Peter
Power Ranger to get a different job to do (after decomposing the T-Zord), the game makes a fritzy sound and I get sent out of the game. Think TC is aware of the glitch or should I message them?

I have gotten stuck even before I go to decombine. I click to have the t-zord finish his task and the game goes to edit mode. When I click to get out of edit mode all I get is the ding-dong sound effect. I e-mailed tinyco so hopefully I can continue on.

Same problem here on facebook, (luckily can go to mobile version), but all tinyco say “Thank you for contacting the Support Team.
We are currently aware that an error appears for Facebook players when they click on the Red Tyrannosaurus Dinozord. I have passed your information to the team, and we hope to have a fix released soon. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate your patience in the meantime.”

Weekly quest vanished after completing part 6. Only 3 quests in queue. Regular troubleshooting recommended here had no effect.

After defeating the Earth Kaiju for part 5, part 6 never came up. I’ve reopened the game multiple times but there’s no main questline, part 5, 6, or anything.
Has anyone else experienced this? I assume it has to do with the crashing issue with the zords.

I finished part 6 of the event quest line and now part 7 won’t load. The game did freeze when I did a decombine. Not sure if it’s because of that that part 7 won’t show up for me.

So I just completed Part 6 and Part 7 isn’t starting with the main quest completely disappeared. I’ve decombined the Zord to free up Peter, hard-closed the app, gone to my friends page and back etc. Has this happened to anyone else?

I haven’t yet unlocked Red Ranger Peter, but am getting there steadily.
As with others, my game keeps crashing when the Dinozord runs out of energy and needs to be decombined, and I’ve got this problem on two devices (a creaky old iPad 2 at home and an iPad 4 at work). I don’t play it on anything else, but the problem being on two out of two devices is pretty bad.

Normally when there is a Timed Character, I wait until I have most/all the buildings that drop the Items required to unlock the character. But, I read in a comment (I believe by RussianTigger) that you have to be on Pt.6 of the Main Questline to start being able to earn the Green Cups (needed to obtain Buildings from the Smoothie Bar)?
Would there be any benefit to continuing to hold off progressing a bit to collect more of the Coins & Thunderbolt Keychains? I mean, it’s a bit moot for me at the moment, as I’m still working on unlocking Red Peter, but was just curious if people are finding themselves held back by getting Coins & Keychains at that point in addition to the Green Cups/Shakes/whatever-they-are, or are you just grinding for the Green things?

I can’t answer what you’re saying but I thought I’d tell you I’m thinking in exact same way as you, should I hold off and build up some more Keychains etc, and I’ve decided to do just that for today and tomorrow then come Sunday I will decide if I want to activate the timer. I’m not going hold off much longer than that I don’t think.

Due to the wristbands being an extra rare, I decided to get the cosplay building then the zoo. I am going to pass on the Zeddroom 🙂 as Bruce can grind those out in time and focus on the gym for the quest next.

How do you use the T-Zord without Red Ranger or Red Ranger Peter? Those are the only two characters I show, and they are both locked…

Just working on full post as I felt this might confuse players, you don’t need Red Ranger Peter or the Red Ranger to use the Zord, they can just be combined with him to make him stronger. All you need to do is click on the Zord box, then Combine, it will ask if you want use 3 crystals, agree and you have a 3 energy Tyrannosaurus DinoZord. If you had unlocked Red Ranger Peter you could have selected the Zord,then selected Red Ranger Peter box before hitting combine and Red Ranger Peter would be combined with it to give you a 6 energy Tyrannosaurus Zord and so on. I’ll try get post finished and up ASAP but hopefully that gives you the basics.

Glad your working, be aware some players are reporting a crashing issue when they decombine the Zord, hopefully you’ll be lucky and not have it.

Technically, you need to combine the T Zord with ONLY the 3 Red Zeo Subcrystals, not another character, until other characters are available. Then you can combine the T Zord, Crystals AND character(s), to make the Zord more powerful.

Is it only me or is there a glitch that crashes the game EVERYTIME when you decombine the DinoZord after Part 4? … It seems as I can still continue to play fine after it reloads as long as I don’t decombine which I forsee to be an issue moving ahead soon. Yes you’re not alone with this issue, it’s been reported. I will ensure I wear something purple on Sunday and today I will just need force myself to eat that whole packet of Poppets that’s sitting unopened in the kitchen.

I have the same issue and the fix I found was to deconstruct then go rob Ollieland and then back into the game. Has worked for me every time so far.

I found if I decombined and went straight to the Command Centre so it reappeared in there again it avoided the issue also.

I had problems with my first Decombine: The first time I tapped Decombine, I then swiped the screen to move on to something else, and it locked up, requiring me to Force Close. Of course, I lost progress that had not been saved yet, so I went back in, did those actions again, Decombined again, and noticed that animations on other decos stopped, and then the game crashed (closed itself). I went back in Decombined, and made sure I didn’t touch anything else… Then force closed and went back in, and was able to proceed normally. The second time I Decombined, I simply tapped Decombine, waited 5 seconds, force closed, opened the game again, and all was well. For the next little while I will make sure to save my progress BEFORE decombining, then again after, and not do anything else until I am sure the decombine worked.
