Hey fellow Addicts….
As I was pulling together an event post yesterday I realised my next post would be my 500th on this site. So I thought I’d better come up with something special, however I couldn’t think of anything special so you’re stuck with this instead. Lol.
When Bunny reached out to me just over 6 months ago to ask if I’d babysit this site whilst she took a Doctor ordered break, (Bunny following the doctors orders, wow that’s a first), I only thought I’d be around for a week or two, never did I imagine you poor souls would still be stuck with me 6 months later and I’d be rabbiting on in this, my 500th post. So I wanted to say sorry for the misery my rambling inflicts on you and of course say some thank yous.
- Thanks to Bunny for trusting me with her baby, when you build something like this from nothing it must have been incredibly difficult to put it in the hands of a virtual stranger. But you trusted me and that means a lot.
- Thanks to Lotty for guiding me through that first few days during the madness of the Superhero Event.
- Thanks to all of YOU, the readers and commentators who made me feel very welcome and overlooked any early hiccups as I found my way.
- Thanks to TinyCo for not spitting out the dummy when I do my honest reviews of events etc, I like to think this is because I’m honest and fair, I praise what you get right as well as highlighting what you don’t.
- Thanks to FGQFS for giving me premature gray hair and high blood pressure, I’m sure both will come in handy one day – lol.
- And finally Thanks to my family…… Ok, Ok, enough, who do I think I am, some Z-List celebrity, lol.
But seriously, there you have it, my wholehearted and genuine THANKS to you all.
Now how’s about joining me in a song? Put on your best Scottish accents and off we go…. I will blog 500 posts and I will blog 500 more…..
And yes guys I’ve just given the game away, I’m not really Russian, I’m Scottish, and you know what’s even more disappointing? I’m not really Tigger….. But hey I can still bounce with the best of you if you’ll let me!!!

Congrats on reaching 500! Takes a lot of efforts and time to keep this going. Thanks so much for the hard work. Everytime I see my Golden Dragon in my game, I remember your sagely advice which gave me hope and courage to keep going, and led me to getting the coveted Dragon. If not for your advice, I’d have given up!

No, sorry I’m not a fan of Trainspotting, having grown up in an area decimated by drugs and addiction I find it very difficult to find anything entertaining about the subject I’m afraid, I think seeing the utter chaos up close day in day out makes me want to turn away from watching anything like that. Hope that kind of makes sense. But I’m in a minority purely because it hits too close to home, loads Scots love T1 & T2. Now on the off chance you’re talking about actual Trainspotting, no I don’t go hunting for ?thomas the Tank and friends either, lol.

LOL! A good friend of ours is Scottish – when she gets worked up or excited, she goes right into her Glasgow accent, it’s too funny. Everything is a ‘wee bit’, when her husband teases her, she always says she’s going to give him a ‘Glasgow handshake’, the first time she referred to someone as a ‘Gallus Alice’, we were all, ‘Huh?’ until her husband explained it…

Otherwise known as a “Glasgow Kiss”. Lol. Hey I’m Scottish and sometimes I’ve not a clue what people are saying – there is so much regional slang and different accent variations. I think it’s why Siri etc hates us.

I think you may need to explain a bit more. If i “translate” correctly, in “North American”, that would be “spitting out your pacifier” like a baby would do when upset about something.

We don’t use the word pacifier here at all. But basically rather than translating word “dummy” I’ve given the meaning of the saying, think that’s easier, as I don’t know where Keboe is from so they might not use the word pacifier either. And I’m just not linguistic enough to go round the world on the “dummy” word, lol. Now you just know I’m going to google to search for Dummy for Dummies, lol.

I only found this site at the end of the super heroes event so you are all I know lol. I can imagine how demanding it gets. The information and feedback is very helpful and TinyCo seems to listen to your honest insight. The ramblings aren’t bad either lol. It’s been a great 6 months lol.
