Hi there, just dropping by quickly to clear up some of the confusion over why we haven’t seen the Phase 2 Weekly Challenge. The answer is quite simply there isn’t going to be one.
Why? Well according to TinyCo it’s all that evil Rita Repulsa’s fault…..
But in reality the reason is the prize was mistakenly released as a free decoration when Phase 2 hit our games.
Many of you noticed an unusual Free decoration appeared in our stores when Phase 2 hit, the Caged Baboo. And at the time we speculated this might be a Baboob by TinyCo, as it looked like it should be the Week 2 challenge prize, and it turns out that was exactly the case.
So with many players getting the prize above for free, TinyCo decided it made having a challenge this week pointless and more importantly unfair on those who missed out on the free Caged Baboo. Therefore TinyCo in my opinion have done the right thing in cancelling this weeks Challenge and awarding every player the Caged Baboo.
So here’s what will happen, if you grabbed yourself a free Caged Baboo when it dropped at the start of Phase 2, you’ll probably see nothing in your game at first, however if you missed out on the free Caged Baboo, you’ll likely get a pop up blaming everything on Rita Repulsa and telling you to pick up your free Caged Baloo in the store and that the Weekly Challenges will return in the next Phase. If your having any issues with this then don’t worry as a short 1 part Questline Rita Strikes Again will trigger to help you do this.
Once you’ve completed this quick Questline, the weekly challenge will show as complete in your Challenges screen.
Basically there you have it, we’ve all been given a by this week, enjoy it and we’ll see you for the next challenge in Week 3.

Randomly noticed that Diabeto has an eight hour task to drop the PowerCon pins. Wondering if there were any more old characters dropping those now?

I really hope that the grand prize is an actual Goldar character, I won’t mind too much if it ends up being just a decoration but a character would be a lot cooler.

I got the popup explaining the free gift, but I pressed x on it instead of Awesome, thinking it would go to the inventory like when you craft an event building (I do this because placing a building immediately after crafting it usually makes my game crash, while putting it in the inventory first is safer.) Unfortunately I was wrong, and I can’t find it in either the inventory or store. I haven’t gotten the questline yet though, so I’ll keep an eye out for that.

Sometimes they aren’t in the event tab in the store or the inventory, try looking through the do stations tab in each,I know there can be a lot to scroll through but hopefully it’s lurking there somewhere for you.

I have the prompt to “Place the Caged Baboo” but when I click on it, nothing happens …. it’s not in my shop, inventory or anywhere else. Also, it doesn’t show as rewarded in the week 2 space of the challenge. No yellow tick mark. It just sits there as an open, uncompleted quest.

It’s not needed for next phase but I think you’ll need it if you want to complete the challenges. If it’s not in any shop tabs or your Inventory, try messaging Tinyco.

Really, you should never look all that closely at any Baboo, but in particular, the mouth.

I think I have discovered a bug in the game. To get the building that drops the pink spray cans to get Lois, one of the things you need to do is to fight the Flame Kaiju to get the red powercon t-shirts. To fight the Flame Kaiju, you need to be able to get Lois because, at least for me, Peter’s zord can’t fight the Fire Kaiju now. It seems to be a catch-22 somehow.

Hi, same as phase 1 you don’t need to combine the Zord with anyone to use it. You can combine the Pterodactyl Zord without selecting any characters.

The fact that you could use it without a character was not something that was made clear to me.

It isn’t very clear in the game, that’s why I pointed it out in red lettering in the DinoZord 101 posts. You’re not the only one who didn’t realise.
