Do I Want That? White Ranger

So you think you’re as rich at Carter Pewterschmidt? Own a fancy house like Buzz Killington? You sure gotta lot of clams there, whatcha gonna do with them?

BUY LOTS OF STUFF OF COURSE!!!

Now hold on there a minute. Are you SURE you want that? With all these cool Mighty Morphin Griffin Rangers limited time event items in the game, it is very easy to get carried away. Before you know it, Clamshell Shock! All gone!

So before you go ahead and buy the White Ranger character with your hard-earned Clams, here’s a few things you might want to know about him.

Full Character 
Clam Price: 270 Clams.
Unique: Yes

PROS:

• A third Ranger for your town.
• 2 Permanent animated tasks.
• 1 Temporary Event animated task.
• Can Clear Black Ranger Cosplayers
• Can Combine with the White Tiger Zord, adding 5 extra Energy to its base strength, this letting you do more tasks before his energy is depleted.
• The only character who can Combine with the White Tiger Zord.
• Fully tasked with Questline.
• If you’re willing to chase a Leaderboard ranking, his extra White Tiger Zord energy will help you gather more Power Medals but I DO NOT advise buying him just for this reason.
• Part of The Power Rangers FaceSpace set, if you complete this you’ll get 10 Clams.

CONS: 

• Freaking 270, although at least it’s for a full character not a costume.
• Has never appeared in the Family Guy Show.
• Won’t be useful after the Event.

MATH OF IT:

I wanted to give you an overall idea of how it COULD benefit your game play. And it’s simple you can use White Ranger in two ways. First to clear Black Ramger Cosplayers and secondly to make your White Tiger Zord stronger, this in turn will allow you to use it for more tasks for every 3 White Zeo SubCrystals.    However to be honest he isn’t essential to progressing as you can use Blue Ranger Joe to Clear Black Ranger Cosplayers and, you can simply use the Basis energy level White Tiger Zord, but he will be weak at only 3 energy. The real value is getting the most use of the White Tiger Zord for each 3 White Zeo SubCrystals you use to activate him. But these are a little bit easier to come by then the others, as the task to clear the Black Ranger Cosplayers is only 2 hours, so bear that in mind.

With regards clearing the Black Ranger Cosplayers, well his Clear Black Ranger Cosplayers Task is 2 hours long, so technically you will be able to clear up to 12 more Black Ranger Cosplayers in any 24 hour period than you could with Blue Ranger Joe alone.

Final Thought:

Personally, I passed on him because I’ve spent all I want to for this event. Like the other Power Rangers I think he looks great, and as much as I’ve enjoyed my recent education in everything Power Ranger, I’m happy with what I’ve got from this event. I’ll try unlock Green Ranger Chris without any further clam spend and be happy with my lot. Also spending 270 Clams to compete The Power Rangers Facespace set to get only 10 clams back isn’t much of an incentive. I think this premium buy is one for the Power Rangers fans only. And if you’re a fan and buy him, with his ability to clear Black Ranger Cosplayers and Combine with the White Tuger Zord, you will probably think you’re getting a decent return for your clams. I would agree.

I will briefly mention that using the White Tiger Zord is one of the main ways of getting the Power Medals that will be used in the Leaderboard. So yes, the extra strength he brings will help you get more Power Medals, however buying a premium item just to get a leg up on the Leaderboard is NOT something I would ever encourage as there are no guarantees it will help you Rank where you want, much of this depends on other players, the time you put in etc. In the past I’ve Ranked in the top bracket having bought no premium item, but have also not Ranked in the top spot in events where I have bought premium items. So buying this won’t guarantee you any Leaderboard prize, so please think very carefully before spending clams for this reason alone. However it’s you choice at the end of the day.

With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as once the event is over it is most likely they will be gone. In the end it’s your call.  What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think.  But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure.
