Family Guy Addicts 
I’m so frustrated at this point. I had everything for Rocky with 3 1/2 days left…except for robes. The robes are killing me. I only am getting steaks sporadically, and now my last two bouts in the ring have won me freaking golden tickets. 44 hours left, I still need five robes, and as of now I have no steaks left in reserve. The math looks bleak. Second event in a row where I miss the opening character because one item WILL…NOT…DROP?

I quit playing within the last year and haven’t come back.
Years ago it was possible to finish an event without spending if you put in the time. I would set my alarm clock to wake me up at 3am just for the game. When an event has a character I loved, I’d buy it.
It just became too frustrating when they made the events impossible to complete without using clams. I put up with it for another year and even buying one character I still wasn’t able to finish events. I tried multiple times. There was just no reason to play anymore.

Has anyone had any luck with the new clam offers they added? They looked neat but I did a couple and don’t seem to have been given any clams for them. Is there something specific you have to do to sync progress or collect clams?

I’m not seeing them in my game but another player said they weren’t getting the clams. i can only suggest contacting TinyCo via your in game help and support tab.

I’ve not been playing TQFS for maybe two years now, come here and still see pretty much the very same complaints as were going round when I left, completely frustrated and annoyed by TinyCo’s tactics. Still unstable game engine, convoluted gameplay, unachievable event goals without spending money on new stuff, no reuse of previous premium content, poor communication… I wonder how they managed to keep this thing afloat for this long.
That said, I’m still happily playing TSTO. Despite having its own set of issues at times, EA is running it so much better in pretty much all aspects.

I play both but I find TSTO is becoming so repetitive, EA need start coming up with some new formats as these long events are killers in my opinion.

How about if you accidentally press the home button after winning only your second pair of robes with two days to go to collect Rocky only to have to reload the game and when you get back in and find there are only 40 gloves for you to collect, those 2 robes you worked to collect are gone, poof, into thin air, that you are awarded those robes or at least the equivalency in clams. Sorry for the run on sentence(s) but it is soooooo frustrating. Yes, I’ve contacted tinyco. Literally happened five minutes ago. Somehow my intuition told me this would happen and it was my biggest worry at the moment and perhaps it became a self fulfilling prophecy. Also agree about canceling a task without paying clams please. Also bring back past characters and costumes but at a cheaper clam rate. Also more uses for our coins and convert them to clams.

I apologize in advance if my suggestions are repetitive but I’m too lazy to read all the remarks 😉.
#1- PLEASE allow clam for coin exchange! I have over 7 million coins… And nothing to do with them!!
#2- SO many characters/skins that are never used again for tasks!! They occasionally are used for tan line quests but not enough for event quests- esp when they would make total sense to be used during an event.
#3- I think you guys are funny!! IF you are a true Family Guy fan, you know the character’s personalities and the conversations are almost always spot on! Ignore the haters 😜
Last but not least #4– NO MORE LEADER BOARD EVENTS!! It’s just people who pay to win! Silly! Or at least allow an opt out option for those of us who don’t wanna spent hundreds just to be tops on a game!!

I keep having the Free Clams for Videos thing freeze up. I have to restart the game. In the lower left hand corner is a zero and no X in the upper right hand corner to exit . THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! What the Deuce? What is causing this problem? Sometimes my wifi connection is slow. Could it be network related? I depend on these free clams to advance in the game.

Have more ‘Family Guy’ content. Less of the generic tripe that is being churned out ad nauseam – they are neither funny nor clever. Do you guys even watch the show?
Ease up on the events. Focus some attention on the core game for two measly seconds – the foundation needs attention or the game will die.
Permanently fix the drop rates. This is not a casino, so tasks should not be a gamble – items should drop every time, and simply increase the task duration or item quantity to compensate.
Utilize more than a handful of characters. “Trying to be fair to new players” is a bogus justification because there will always be newer players – if all new characters will never be useful, I will just stop trying to unlock them.
Stop charging character prices for skins. One is a steak, the other is merely the sauce that goes on top of the steak – it is sheer audacity to charge the same for both.
Restructure the Mystery Boxes. Mixing valuable characters with superfluous decorations is nonsense – separate boxes at appropriate prices would be smarter (150 Clams for characters/skins, 10 Clams for materials/decos).
Get rid of the Micro-Timers. The fact that these timers are hidden until the asset is placed is a dishonest tactic – your company deserves every ounce of scorn hurled at you due to this poor design.
Give the ability to Opt-Out of events. Not every event is a winner, and some event elements can actually deter progress in regular gameplay (think “latchers” or character “possession”) – we should not be forced to endure a shoddy event just because we are trying to play the game.
Finish what you start. Tan Lines showed great potential, then you never offered any new content for “Stewie Bucks” – why should I bother collecting them?
Tell a freaking story already. The endless stream of nostalgic references is nothing more than creative laziness – stop feeding us memory candy, and come up with something new.
Quit making the same mistakes. The last year has been a blur of repetitious and convoluted gameplay – stop recycling ideas that were not that good to begin with.
Do not pretend that everything is okay. It is not, and you should be very afraid of people realizing this – because without the players, you are nothing.

My biggest wish for this game is a cancel task option. I know you can finish early for clams, but sometimes a character is needed that’s in the middle of a long task (I keep Peter on 12 hour tasks since he can’t go to Tan Lines)
Some other things that would be cool
*Send to Tan Lines option when you click a character
*A list of active tasks to help find characters
*Timed characters and extra rare drops need to go away, especially extra rare drops to unlock timed characters

Yes, I am officially hooked!! The last 2 events went really well for me. As a matter of fact, I found myself ahead of the game both times and waiting for new updates and quests. Finally!!! And I Scored the 4 Zords in the Power Rangers event. The only issue that I’m having now is with the punching bags. The most barbells I can get is 7. Most of the time it’s 6. Ive had my kids try it too. They got the same Page5903@gmaol.comresults. It doesn’t help that after you punch the bag the required amount of times, that it takes about 2 seconds to reset the new bag, and the counter never stops decreasing. 9Since you only get 20 secs total, that isn’t leaving us with as much time as we should have. Also, the chickens don’t seem to refresh in as large as quantity as other similar items did in previous events. They are some fast running little critters though!! LOL!

THE WORST: no longer have access to the game at all — every time I try to load it on my iPad now it crashes just as its finishing the load. Haven’t been able to play for a day and a half

Communication is an area where TinuCo needs sone work. They’ve come a long way communicating how the event works, kudos. But they never comminicate when an event will start. Its often difficult to tell in the shop if there is a building skin vs. a building. St elmos clam (skin) was already a building. I almost let it go thinkibg i had the building. Mentioned above and frequently elsewhere they dont communicate timed characters or tasks before they’re activated and f2p players are screwed. What rewards are characters and which are decorarios? Communicate ALL characters used in the event. Even the old characters dropping event currency that doesn’t pop to the top. Communicate when there are new drops in event.
The inventory system is unwieldy i can’t find anything in my decorations group.
What’s the point of the levels? Both the player levels and character levels are pointless. Why do the characters even have levels other than delaying a task or two for a bit? After leveling a character to 5 or so there no point. They raised the player level to 100 for what? Where’s the expansion or reward.
Coins, seriously what are we supposed to so with them? Stewie Bucks, when are we getting a new character for stewie bucks or has this been abandoned like Coins?
Ive actually been able to get pretty far along in theevents lately falling inly a few days behind. If they’ve worked on balance it’s working (for me) if not, i guess I’m getting lucky.
I still enjoy the game. There are just sone drustratiins. “What, you wanna fight about it?”

I would like the drop rates to be what they say they are, not turned up when your making good progress to squeeze some clams out of you. Too many times I’ve missed out on stuff because I’ve had 2-3 days of no drops, to get me to spend clams to unlock. A common drop I had 25 tries and nothing!!!! Contacted TC to get “drops are normal”

First, why can’t I get the lil fb button to show up, so I can log in with fb on my note 5? I was able to finally get it on my 7 edge! But I want to use the note!
Anyway, if I have to complain, and I do; I’d complain about how you have to do a long, say an hours long task to have a chance of a rare item, that you need to do something else with, to get an important item, they toy need to get the final item! I realize this may not sound right.
This event, I need to get steak to box to get gloves that I have to have to buy buildings to get other important items that I need to unlock, say a character. Plus, there is no guarantee that you’ll even get the steak after waiting 3 hours.
So I’m saying there are just too many steps! It’s getting so bad that by the time you finally unlock something the next week starts and it’s then worthless!
They really need to know it’s just too much.

Could Tiny co bring back the video game pixel event. I was not playing the game back then but I would love to have peach monkey kong the video game reference buildings trophies and buildings. Also bring back Jesus and black jesus i want in on some making clams out of water action.

I wish Tiny Co. would make it so basically half of what most people care about in each event (characters) isn’t for premium only players. It’s also pretty disappointing that there is a lack of characters and events that contain things related to the show imo, not to say other properties aren’t interesting, if they do a dark souls, borderlands or walking dead themed event I’m all in though I wish it would feature more from the show this game is about. And my last complaint is there is never a break between events that lasts more than a day, I think they should give players a week to chill after an event takes place.

there is a big difference between “challenging” and “never going to happen without spending real money on imaginary stuff” The challenge should be in coming up with a strategy to get the items you need. The whole tendency to make a large percentage of the drops dependent on buying a building, and not possible through character tasks, is not a challenge.
Once you buy the building, there is nothing you can do but wait; there is no control the player has over the drop rate, and that is not a challenge, that feels almost like drudgery.
Creating timed characters with no warning is nonsense. While this site does what it can to give the warning, it is not their job to make your game less frustrating. Especially when you then add several drops that are extra rare or rare, and the need for several of them, and the only way to get them is though the building drops, and to buy the building requires materials that are also rare. Again, not so much a challenge as much as frustrating, in that the player has no control.

One issue I’ve found that happens over and over for me is starting timed quests before I am ready for them. The current event is a perfect example. I’m still working on getting the Boxer Peter outfit but the Rocky character has appeared and I can’t really make any progress on him until I get the Boxer Peter outfit. I usually lose a couple of days trying to get the requisite outfit and then end up running out of time to get the new character. If I was smarter I would read blogs like this and no not to finish the quest that triggers the arrival of the timed character but I shouldn’t have to do that!

Been there. Unfortunately, for me is I get too caught up in the game (I always feel like even with a running start of getting a premium character, I am already behind) and I forget to stop and check here first until it is too late almost every time 😓😓

I want events, or a version of the game, for non-clam buyers. I hate not getting through ANY event because of time and needing to sleep and not being able to buy clams. I maybe get halfway through, if that, most events before they end. It gets tiresome. For people like me, clams are so precious to get that I am loathe to spend them, especially since the costs for things in clams is a huge percentage of the clams I get. I promised myself that I would buy ONE thing with my clams when I finally have 1,000 clams. Most characters would cost between 10 and 25, if not more, percent of the clams if I wait until I have 1,000. The company has to make money. I understand that. I would just hope that the company would have enough to make more events for the poorer players.
