Woo Hoo, it looks like we’re heading on an adventure, but not just any adventure, an excellent adventure.
Lots of us have been asking TinyCo for more time travel, and it looks like we’re going to get just that with the new Quahog’s Excellent Adventure event.
” Peter and the gang are bound for an excellent adventure when Bill and Ted’s time-travelling phone booth lands in Quahog.
* Catch a ride with the Griffins to 4 alternate play spaces.
* Travel through time with Bill, Ted, Rufus and historical figures.
Will Stewie & Brian be able to stop Quahog’s newest time travellers from rewriting history. Find out during Quahog’s Excellent Adventure”.
Update 05/18 ***Some players are reporting some issues with their games after updating to 1.48.0, this seems to be affecting players with Android devices, I’ve asked Bunny to bring this to TinyCo’s attention***
Now there’s no word from TinyCo of an exact time when the event will go live, but you will find an update for game Version 1.48.0 in your App stores, make sure you update to that in order when the event does go live you will see it in your games.

On iOS, it might be better to go to the update area of the App Store than to just look for the game as I used to do. There now often isn’t an update button in the entry for the game itself, but I can update from the Update section where the game does appear when an update is acailable. I have auto updates disabled and wasn’t in the habit of checking that area myself.
I updated yesterday to 1.48.0 but nothing new showed until I updated to 1.48.1 today. OF COURSE after I had already set everybody on multihour tasks trying to clear old quest lines…

Still waiting on the release as of May 19th, 1:18pm EST…. But a question completely off topic, I have played FG game for almost 3 years now (started october 2014) and I see a new game being released by tinyco for Futurama… Any idea when that is coming out??

I just got a notification saying it’s live, but it isn’t. I updated at 4am this morning and ever since then it crashes over & over when I try to open it. Usually by the 6-8th try, it works. But they lied to my phone – it isn’t live at all. Lmfao

I love that weven can now get extra clams in other ways, but is anyone actually receiving the clams? I’ve completed several offers and haven’t gotten a single clam yet. I’m doing everything correctly by downloading the games and reaching levels where required, and/or connecting to FB. etc. ANNNDDDDD. ZIP! NADA!!!!! I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

Done several of the offers and not seeing anything either.
So far it’s saying that 59 clams have been awarded but no increase in my game. Did one for 268 clams and leveled up the game to where it says I needed to. It said pending for over 24 hours so filed a ticket which it now says under investigation and will take 3 days to get a reply but after reading some comments online I’m not holding my breath as I expect nothing will be done.
Important note is this is not TinyCo doing this. Do a search for the company Supersonic Ads and all I’m seeing is bad reviews for them.

Wanted to update the results of my ticket on the missing clams and just as expected by all of the negative reviews I have found on Supersonic Ads they rejected the ticket and will not pay out the 268 clams for installing and leveling up to level 10 (which I did) and be the first time that game has been installed (which it was). Just as others have stated in their reviews screenshots of fullfilling the requirements will do nothing.
Going forward I will not be using that part of the game, delete all other games I have leveled up as per the requirements to receive clams of which I am still owed 313 which I am sure will never be see (no point of filing anymore tickets) and chalk it up as a lesson learned.

Did report to them and they got back to me last night with basically a scripted reply on how the offers and clam payment works but please send a screen shot of completed offers. I was pretty much done at that point because I didn’t need to be told in a condescending way how this works and fired back a reply with no screen shot as my goal was simply to alert them to how this company is not paying clams for offers done and stated that to them again.
But for whatever reason after I sent my last reply I looked at the section to do with missing clams and the ticket that they rejected due to Supersonic Ads saying proof I sent was no good and that they wanted a screen shot of exact date and time of offer completion magically now says “Completed (Clams awarded, after reviewing your inquiry)”. Not sure what changed but no email from them explaining why they changed their minds and no way there was enough time between when TinyCo asked for a screen shot and my reply back to them last night (it was a minute or so) to do anything about it.
But of course nothing has been added to my game. I thought a couple days ago that 14 were added but forgot that when you use the Coin Collector 3000 that that takes the clams from the Estate Fountain so 12 offers showing completed and missing 332 clams plus 10 offers pending (338 more clams).
Awful lot of “work” just trying to get these clams so I guess anyone having this issue needs to ask themselves how much time they want to spend pursuing this but certainly anyone that does run into this needs to report it to TinyCo.

I’d send screenshot showing its completed to TinyCo, as they will should be able to see no clams were added to your game. Just keep the communication friendly, I know it gets frustrating having keep going back, but you earned the clams so you should get them.

Yup it does get mighty frustrating at times and I am sure it’s way beyond frustrating for them as well dealing with all manner of individuals and the issues that pop up in these games. But as you said keep friendly communication going and it goes a long way in getting someone to help you.
I am happy to report that when I went into my game this evening the 332 clams from completed offers were now in my game and a message in part saying that once the other offers update to completed to let them know so they can verify them as well.

Four alternate play spaces? That could either be really neat or be a total mess. If they don’t clear up the little glitch (on Android) before it goes live it seems like something that could become a BIG glitch.
If Stewie and Brian aren’t the main characters or at least a major part of this event… So sick minor show characters like Jerome, Bruce and Mort being a larger part of the events than those two. Most players should have Stewie and Brian by now.

This is my favorite movie. I even saw it again the theaters a couple years ago when it played one night only in Pasadena. Can’t wait for the event to go live, I just wish I had more clams saved up!

Android here. The game crashed a bit after installing the update yesterday, but settled down and runs fine. But the Event has yet to trigger. 11am CDT.

I’m not too surprised as I feel the majority of players were probably born between mid-70’s to late 80’s with a few sprinkles of 90’s babies … plus if you look at a lot of the past events, they are based on the same time period which is evident by themes and styles 😉

Well I hope it’s better than the last one. I didn’t even get to week 3 due to appalling (Common?1?) drop rates on steaks from Peter fighting lightweight boxers. No possible chance of getting Ivan Drago (800 whatever they were) or the Cleveland costume (700 barbells). Worst event ever for me, and I’ve had a few turkeys.

Unable to load the game after updating – did all the usual troubleshooting steps several times…HTC One running latest Android OS, shoot, hope this is a simple glitch and not something serious…looks like a uninstall/re-install step is in my future…

Excellent. When I saw the small icon I thought Peter had a baseball behind him and I wasn’t looking forward to a baseball themed game but can totally get behind this. Bill and Ted was one of my favorite films when growing up.
