First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.48.1 in order to see the event. (Live so far on iOS & Google, the others take about 24hrs+ to update… iOS may need to search for it on main App Page)
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more.
Keep checking back as we update the post while checking and verifying all the content as it hits live in the game.

Tap on one wandering around to bring up the Payout and Charater used info, and tap on GO to be taken to Character. Or… just pull up the Task on the Character themselves.

GENERALS
You will trigger them and learn about them once you reach A New Excellent Adventure Pt. 3. You will find them in Colonial America. They are the one on the horses. These are more your “aim n shoot” Bad Guys.
Tap on one to bring up the Tea Crate Cannon Screen. Drag the “Kill Zone” target area around until you have the General(s) in center of your target screen (you can zoom in n out to get closer and target them easier), then tap on “FIRE” to launch a Tea Crate at them.
Chance Payout:

Spawn: They will appear a few times a day up to a MAX of 8 in your game screen at one time
Tea Crates: Create in General Store Whigs n Digs OR Bill Steal Tea Crates
PHONE BOOTH TIME MACHINE
In the lower right corner of your game screen, you will see 3 additional icons next to your shopping cart. The one in the middle being the Phone Booth. You will use this area to “travel” to places and acquire items to further help you along in the game.
As the game progresses, more locations will unlock for you to travel to. The first location you will see will be Colonial America.
To go to Colonial America, just select it from the Phone Booth Time Machine screen, the button will turn to a green “EXCELLENT”, tap on green button, you will now be taken to an alternate play area.
You will notice MANY hammers to “repair” places as you progress.
Colonial America Locations:
Whigs n Digs~ General Store (Craft Area): Here is where you can trade items, like Tea Bags to Craft Crates and get items to use in the Colonial America Area. It will take 2 hrs to turn 2 Tea Bags into a Tea Crate. You can create up to 6 Tea Crates at a time. Each one will sit until the one before it is complete, then autostart creation process.
Musketeer Mikes: Chance drop Wyld Stallyns Posters. Here is where you will find Ted. Be Careful… unlocking this area will trigger Ted’s 7 Day Timer to unlock him.

RETURN TO QUAHOG: Just tap on the Phone Booth Icon in the lower right corner of the game screen. You will see option for QUAHOG appear in the Phone Booth Time Machine Screen. Select it, then the green EXCELLENT button.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Think of this as a “CHECK LIST” of items you will unlock, tasks you will perform, or things you will need to do to help earn Time Capsules and other items for the Event.
You can get to the current Achievements Check List Screen by tapping on the Time Capsule Icon in the lower right corner of the game screen.
Once you complete an Achievement, just tap on “CLAIM” button next to it to gain your reward.
To go quickly to location of Achievement you need to complete, tap on the “GO” icon next to it.

Geez! Does anybody know how many achievements there are total for week 1? I’m currently on Revolutionary Vacation Pt.5, Not His Crate of Tea Pt.9, and The British are coming! Pt.8. I got Abe like 3 days ago by completing 35 Achievements already but they just keep on coming. I’m guessing all of these have to be completed before starting Week 2.
Yesterday I saw that the next travel place got unlocked in my game but when I clicked to time travel my game froze and I had to shut down. When I went back in it was gone and lost in the abyss. Has anybody else experienced this?

im thinking about repairing Musketeer’s Mike before I finish collecting for the last building i need for Ted (Log Cabin – 35 capsules) … are the 18 top hats achievable if i lose a day or two ?? how much is the collecting time for the Log Cabin ?

I can only speak for my game but I got all the Top Hats within 48 hours. I repaired Muskateer Mikes before placing that buildings as well. So far I just need Vests and Posters, they are the slow drops for me

Do you have any idea what drops come out of the Paul Revere statue and the wagon? Do they maybe drop time capsules? They cost 15 capsules each but I dont want to take the risk!

Is anyone else locked out of their inventory? In my game, on the main menu, the inventory button isn’t working. It is a darker color than the other buttons, like it is being pressed, and will not respond to any taps on it. Like it is stuck in the pressed position.
Just curious if anyone else is having the same problem.

No, but Ted’s timer isn’t linked to Phase 1, it’s 7 days from when you buy the building, I’ve not saw any indication you will lose chance to get him once Phase 2 starts, he will only vanish when his 7 day timer expires

As we are unsure how the weekly prizes will work, I do not know if they will outright change, introduce a new page of them, etc.
So for now we are not sure if you don’t get him by time Week 2 content releases that he is gone for good. I will try to get more clarification on it.

Not really. I look at these weekly prizes similar to weekly challenges offered in the past. All decos.
Time capsules that we get from completing each task though is rewarding as they are hard to come by, and you need at least 105 of them for all of items required for the buildings to unlock Ted

Does anyone know how many time capsules you get for each of the 35 achievements this week? I see that Bonnie´s 4x task (Revolutionary Vacation pt3) gives 16 time capsules, not the 1-4 like the first ones.

Think I am done with this game. I love it and you guys but I can’t do anything. Game freezes as soon as I tap on anything. Have tried uninstall/reinstall and messaged tinyco. But nothing works. This stinks cuz this event looked really fun. But with no help from timyco whatsovere

Same exact thing is happening to me. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps and the game still freezes up within seconds of logging on. The event is currently unplayable for me.

Have you tried messaging TinyCo, see if they can clear anything at their side? I do know the game was becoming very slow on my IPhone 6 towards end last year. No such issues on IPhone 7, so I’m wondering if it’s starting to impact certain devices again

Well, looks like I screwed up and am quite upset about it. I unlocked Stars and Stripes and now I can’t get enough time capsules with the current achievements to unlock all the required buildings for the drops to unlock Ted. You need 105 time capsules to unlock all the buildings that drop stuff to unlock Ted, but I added up mine and all the ones I have not unlocked yet and it only adds up to 81 or so. I assume we get new achievements to work toward each week, but by then Ted’s timer will be out.

New achievements appear as you clear ones, so keep completing achievements and you’ll get additional ones that your not seeing yet

Time travel sure does mess up time and history. We all went back in time and brought Lincoln back to the late 1700 with us, approximately December 16, 1773 when the Boston Tea Party happened and the Redcoats seeing how Lincoln was not born until February 12, 1809. Be careful with that time traveling 😀😀😀

A heads up: You can build paths in the woods behind Musketeer Mike’s. I couldn’t figure out why all my Redcoats and Generals were congregating there at first. Apparently I dropped some pathways there by accident when I was trying to put them in the play area. I was finally able to remove them all by listening carefully for the different sounds it makes when you place and remove paths.

Had Peter search for a good nugget 10x already and have not got 1 drop yet. This is labeled as uncommon and he is the only source. Anyone else not getting the nugget drops?

I have 7 Gold Nuggets. The problem with random drops is that you might NEVER get what your going for. It doesn’t matter how high the odds are of getting something – you could send Peter to “Jump a Local’s Gold Claim” from now until the event ends (or the end of time) and never get a single one. Probability says you’d eventually get enough, but probability isn’t reality. They need to add routines that guarantee you get what you need by a certain point in the event so that you’re not forced to spend clams or miss out. Like (for example) guaranteeing a drop every 3rd or 4th attempt.
Ok, getting down off my soap box and sliding it back under the table. For now…

Actually… that is something built into the game already. They adapted something back after game was out about 6mos. Essentially how it works is the more times you miss, the better chances you get of being awarded the item. In short, it may start at a Rare rate… but as you do NOT get one to drop… your chance of success increases more n more, like to a common/uncommon rate.

How are you to clear redcoates with out colonial peter which needs again clearing redcoats by crates but cant get any tea bags its suppaed to be free but cant seem to legitamitly get peter colonial without having to PURCHASE this game is supposed to be free why is it so hard ive read everything all the quests and everything still cant clear one red coat

Chris can also clear Redcoats, but you need take him out of Tan Lines or your Inventory. He has a 3hr task to clear redcoats.

Has the number of generals you can smite with one crate been capped at 4? Can’t seem to get more than 4 even when there are 5+ in the kill zone.

You can build a road section in colonial America and the generals stay on it. Makes hitting them easy, but looks like 4 is the max again.

I played with a bit of road then removed it in case caused any game issues. But the freezing issue has abated and I’m getting 4 each time without it, so all good.

I just figured out that you can place roads in Colonial America, that’ll make the generals and Redcoats stay in. I’ve only been able to find a couple spots and you can only place 2 or 3 plots of road, but it definitely works. Just wanted to pass that info along

There are only a few specific places (like 3 or 4) that will allow you to place roads. They are kinda below Griffin Peterson Statue and over by the Tea Party area. Just tap the area when in road placement screen and you will see the red areas vs the ones road will drop.

It is actually up to the App Markets (including Facebook) when they release. Unfortunately… Facebook and Amazon always take the longest to release the changes to their App Games.

I contacte Tinyco, after 2 days they replied asking whether I had downloade the new app (which suggests it should be available on Facebook). I replied asking how I download it, another 2 days gone by & no reply. I’ve given up on this quest – hopefully I’ll be able to access the next one.

Usually I start the task on the android version and then continue playing it on the facebook version when it becomes available (usually you get a message on the facebook version saying that they are updating and you can continue to play on mobile versions), this didn’t happen on this quest and the quest was available on facebook from the start, although it does keep on crashing when trying to open it.

Yeah, a whole lot going on in this one right away…the Generals are hard to hit, I’ve created three Tea Crates so far…the first one only hit one – seems like a little delay in the firing on my device,,,the second time, I got three, and the last time I got four, so they are a little tricky…like the octopi in Booty Haul, there are no roads to confine them and, while tapping on one does stop him, it brings up the firing function…it SEEMS like I could continue to tap on they others close by to stop them (hence the four on the last one), but not sure as it was hard to tell…
Now the question I see it, do you unlock the Seamstress first (cost 30 Time Capsules) so you can collect for Peter, or do you unlock Ted’s building (cost 10 Time Capsules) to start working on him? I’m going for the Seamstress – yes, it’ll delay me as the Time Capsule cost is higher, but Peter seems pretty critical to advancing…in addition, his ‘cost’ is not too terrible IMHO – I thought some of the Boxing costumes were ridiculous…we’ll see…

I had a “general” delay the first time I fired at the Generals. All my subsequent fires have been fine.
So far no need for roads, most of the time I’ve maxed out at 4 each hit; except the first one (due to the lag).

Every time I try to fire at a general my game freezes. Iphone6. Wondering if there is a glitch. Seems like past shooting events so I think I am doing everything correctly. Putting them in target and hitting fire button and then the game freezes without any explosion.

How do I complete an excellent adventure part 2?
A New Excellent Adventure pt. 2
1. Travel to Colonial America!
2. Complete “Revolutionary Vacation Pt.1” Achievement
3. Unlock Tea Party Building
If I click on 2. it takes me to the list of things to do for the week, but I can’t get tea bags with no red coats. I don’t have an other side quests.

Why do you need Tea Bags to complete this one? (Hint: you do not)
Do as it says…
Go to Colonial America
Tap on GO to trigger Peter’s Task
Use the Time Capsules you have won already (just need one and you will earn them by following questline) to unlock the Tea Party Building (see unlock requirements under Colonial America in this post)

Thanks. I got that far, have 6 of 12 teapots collected so far, but I can’t do anything else.
My only side quest lines are the main one, Ivan from rocky, the daily one that changes and a one to buy clams.

Have you gone to the achievements tab and looked at what you have to do for the Revolutionary Vacation Pt 1, it’s have Peter update his apps. You need to do that then claim the Time Capsule reward to complete that part. See if that triggers Redcoats

I deleted and reinstalled the game on my tablet. I had Peter update his apps again, even though it was not highlighted. Nothing new happened. I got that first time capsule on Friday.
I now have 8 teapots collected for Colonial Peter.
On both Facebook and Facebook Gameroom it will open and then give an error message that tells me to report or refresh.

If you have a Time Capsule, you should be able to build the Tea Party. What happens when you tap on the Hammer?

I already built the Tea Party and just collected the last 2 teapots for Peters costume.
In the clipboard on the left bottom corner all I have showing right now is the main time machine quest line and one to buy clams.

Thanks, I’m good now. The “claim” has worked on the time capsules all of a sudden and my game has advanced.

Okay, Chris and Colonial Peter both clear Red Coats
Premium Bill drops Tea Crates (somehow).

Stars & Stripes (for Colonial Peter)
Gettysburgers
Log Cabin
Theater

So what I’m thinking is:
Don’t unlock Musket Mike’s (starting the Ted timer) until I have Gettysburgers, Lincoln’s Log Cabin, and the Lifeless Lincoln Theater. And I’m thinking maybe not blast any Generals on Horseback either, since we probably won’t get swords until Ted is unlockable.

Depending on where you are in the adventure list, you may have to hit some Generals to move further and collect Time Capsules.
Otherwise, saving crates to get Swords for Ted sounds like a good idea!

Nothing can be moved in Colonial America? I tried to move the Street Lamps around to make room for paths but everything I tapped just closed the edit mode.

There’s a lot of info in the live post, be more coming but going take but time pull everything. Just work on getting Colonial Peter and completing the Achievement tasks. And don’t repair the Ted building until you’re ready as he’s timed

It is quite hard to read. The letters blend into the blue background. Hopefully the following weeks Adventures won’t be so hard to read!

The game says I need colonial Peter to unlock clearing redcoats but I need colonial Peter to clear redcoats. I don’t get it

You can use Chris to clear them but he won’t show up to do it unless you take him out of Tan Lines.

In addition, like the Boxing Event for certain characters, you need to scroll down in his tasks to find the one for clearing Redcoats as it does not go to the top nor is it highlighted…

I just tap on a Redcoat, brigs Chrus up with the task at the top. Too lazy to scroll or what!!!

Event only went live last night, so unsure what task you’ve been on for 2 days? Or why you aren’t seeing Redcoats. Are you looking in Colonial America as its there they appear not in your main Quahog, and check in the trees surrounding Colonial America, for some reason mine appeared there not in the actual play area. If no sign would send TinyCo an in game support request detailing your issue.

is it worth it to buy this ted character for the crates?

Should I buy coming up. I bought him as I felt I couldn’t have Ted without him and the crates will help me towards getting Ted. He needs a lot of Swords. But I don’t know whether he will be useful outside this Phase, so it’s a tough call.
