Yes with the new Quahog’s Excellent Adventure event, we’re getting some new Characters and one of them just happens to be Ted Logan.
Let’s throw you some information on what Ted Logan can do in our silly lil games.
Ted Logan is a New Character added during the Quahog’s Excellent Adventure event. As with many characters in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff! You will be directed to unlock him via Pt. 3 of the A New Excellent Adventure questline, which directs you to repair Musketeer Mike’s in the Colonial America Playspace. Once you repair this Ted Logan will appear for you to start unlocking . You will only have 7 days to fully unlock him though as he is a timed character.
Requires:
130 Swords (Always): Clear Generals
10 Wyld Stallyns Posters (Rare): Bonnie Shop for Band Posters OR Musketeer Mike’s
24 Leather Vests (Rare): Gettysburgers
16 Lincoln’s Top Hats (Uncommon): Lincoln’s Log Cabin
8 Theatre Masks (Uncommon): Lifeless Lincoln’s Theater
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials for the character Ted Logan will be available in your game.
He does come with a Questline, Theodore For Short, more on that in another post.
Ted Logan does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP!

The drop rate sucks and all tinyco could say was they will forward my feedback to other team and then tell me its not in thier power to fix or compensate for thier buildings not dropping items properly had to spend 285 clams because thier building wouldnt drop the uncommon items like uncommon items.

I sat out the boxing event because of the timer issues. Now I am removing the game entirely because of another timer problem (no vests). Tiny blew it. Nice playing with you for a couple years! Goodbye and have fun!

I believe the sound clips are taken from one of the 2 Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures TV series – 1 animated and 1 live action. Christopher Kennedy played Ted in both shows produced by FOX. The animated show ran on CBS originally and the voices were done by the most of the original cast, including Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, but they changed the cast when the show was moved to FOX.

I just unlocked Ted a few minutes ago. I seriously thought it might not happen for me because the drops on vests were taking forever. Stay hopeful, guys! It might still happen and as a last resort, spend the clams and rush a drop. I hate doing that, but it’s better than not getting a character you really want. I wanted Ted pretty bad and was down to my last hours when I unlocked him. I was out of clams (had to have Bill) and running out of time on Ted. By some miracle, I got the last drop and claimed Ted. So, try not to get too discouraged.
For me, this event is exciting and right up my alley. I’m a die-hard 80s chick and a HUGE Bill and Ted fan. I didn’t much care for the Rocky event, so this makes up for that. Also, I’m watching Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey right now. Double the fun.
Trivia: Does anyone remember the other big (non-Bill and Ted) movie that Bill was in? It’s a personal fav of mine. I’m sure you guys know, but it’s fun to find fans.

Leather Vests drop rate: 2 drops in 3 days (collecting 4 times a day)
Support response: “Happy to forward your concerns to the team” (as usual). In fact, no fixes and no compensation.

I haven’t had a drop of vests in 3 1/2 days. My Ted timer will run out by early Saturday. I’m 15 vests short, and that’s kind of ridiculous at this point.

I still don’t have any hats other then the ones I got when I bought the building. That’s 2 days and no drops on an “uncommon”? Something has to be screwy

I have 3 vests, haven’t had a drop in days!!!! Wrote them and they’re reply is they’re dropping properly. How can no drops in 3 days be normal? Everything else is finished but now there’s no way to get 21 vests in two days so won’t be getting Ted. Totally blows. Ridiculous.

I have to agree. Usually I never complain about the drops (well, not online anyway 😆)… but the drops for vests has to be one of the worst I have seen in this game so far (or that I can remember). I also have just 2 days left as well. It was one of the first buildings that I placed but still need more than half of them (vests) to collect. Probably not gonna happen. 🙁

These posters are going to drive me crazy! I burned through 8 Bonnie tasks with clams to get a jump start on time capsules and not a single drop :(, Since then ive been running her tasks and checking the building regularly and still need 4 more. Why they have a Bill and Ted event with Bill premium and Ted timed is beyond me!

I started his timer right away so have just under 2 1/2 days left. All I am left needing is Vests still need 9 of those.
Almost all of my posters came from Bonnie, I’d say 8 with only 2 from the building.

Leather Vests. Completely stopped dropping for over 2 1/2 days. WHAT THE DEUCE!! Not like Bonnie drops are any more frequent. But the vests, c’mon!

Wow – it looks like he’s completely useless from start. I suppose once week two starts he’ll be a necessity and I probably won’t have him unlocked until late Sunday. I will then officially be behind for the remainder of the event, which has become normal, except for the boxing event.

I dunno if it’s just me having bad luck or if it’s ment to be like that but I’m having a REALLY hard time getting my hands on those leather vests… The Gettysburgers was the first of the requirement buildings I unlocked (about 4 days ago) and so far I’ve managed to gather the astonishing amount of 9 vests… Considering that you get 3 when you build them and 3 everytime you are lucky enough for them to drop that’s saying something…

You are not alone. They are just not dropping, and as it is the only way to get the vests, looks like the first time I have not been able to get a freemium character. All I have left are the vests, everything else, even though it took much longer to get their buildings, is done.

I’m in the same boat as you. Have under 3 days to go and I need 16 more vest. I hope that for all of this he is going to be useful.

Anyone else feel like the drop rates are wrong hats are uncommon and feel like extra rare. I feel like i wont be getting ted due to the drop rates being messed up.

I’ve got all the Hats, it’s Wyld Stallyn posters and Vests going slow for me, but hopefully drops increase as timer ticks down

I estimate that about 90% of the posters I got from Bonnie. The droprate for building itself was pretty low indeed

I’m experiencing similar results with posters. I have 6 so far, with about 3 days to go. ALL of them have been dropped by Bonnie- NONE from building, even when I placed it. This seems odd since all the other buildings seemed to pay out when I placed them this phase. All other drops seem to be ok, a bit uneven but I’m on track. Liking event so far but did notice that a new area opened up but I couldn’t get to it- hit a consuela error. Now the area isn’t showing up and the lock is back on. I noticed a new update and loaded that, any one else experience this? Thanks RT- loving your polls, posts, and positive attitude!!

Few players reporting the same error, I’m not seeing it on my IOS devices, just Phase 1 and Colonial America. Hopefully they will get Phase 2 released soon and these glitches will travel to another time or dimension 😀😀😀 And thanks for your kind words, much appreciated

Totally agree drop rates are jacked up for the Posters and the Vests. I have been playing FGTQFS since before the Quahog Comic Con event in 2014 and am still a very active player. I really wanted to get Ted so I purchased Bill first, almost right away too. I waited to attempt to unlock Ted until almost all the buildings for his drops were opened as I have rushed in the past and timers have run out on me before opening a required building. Took me nearly the entire first week to do this. After 5 days, I haven’t received A single poster and have been stuck at 9 vests for 2 1/2 days. I play often enough that I should get about 6-8 opportunities a day to get A single poster. I too messaged TinyCo and received the same response of “thanks we will forward it to the team”. The response was quick though. I understand why they do the timed characters so they get people to play more often and aggressively. But seriously, if I haven’t received a single poster in 30-40 attempts, that’s not a rare or even super rare drop, that’s flippin’ epic rare!!!
