Have 1 hour and 27 minutes left, and still need one more Wyld Stallyons poster. And I started working on them the minute I unlocked Musketeer Mike’s. Stuff like this is why I’m oh so close to just quitting.

i finally unlocked Ted with about 10 hours to spare .. those vests sure were a hustle .. btw i noticed the drops were better on android than on iOs … iOs only gave me 1 drop out of about 8 tries … my old samsung tab had better drops …

Well, had Gettysburgers for 6 days, only got 3 drops plus the original 3 vests from opening it up. Ted is now gone. No more reason to play this event. TinyCo is getting desperate for people to buy clams but in doing so are pushing other to not play at all. A rare drop that leads to another rare drop?

Same here. Gettysburg era was one of the first buildings I opened so I could focus on getting Ted. However only got 3 drops on vests plus the 3 when opening the building. Only half of what I needed…….and 27 clams for one vest??? Plus masks were only dropped a couple times. Pretty disappointed in TinyCo for this one. Didn’t even make it an achievable goal.

I do not have Ted Logan unlocked yet, 10 hours left. I still need 6 more Leather Vest and 3 more Wyld Stallns Poster. It would cost 256 Clams to unlock now (more than what I have). Posters rarely drop from the Musketeer Mike’s.

I have 15/24 vests, only 14 hours left, and I have spent 30 clams so far speeding up the drops, all to no avail. I have messaged TinyCo. How can you have a Bill and Ted event with both characters inaccessible to freemium players?

Totally with you, I now have 1 day 20 hours, 15/24 without seeing a vest for days, need 4 posters as well, there is no way I am getting Ted…I play somewhat premium, but I refuse to throw good clams after bad ones on this character, pretty angry at TinyCo as Ted is one of the key characters for this event and they’ve made him impossible without spending more money than he’s worth…I’ve already purchased premium characters in this event, so that’s not necessarily an issue, it’s the principle here, come on, TinyCo…sent a message, but since it’s a holiday weekend, pretty sure that won’t be seen until it’s too late…really disgusted on this one…no more clams on this event, just focus on DeVinci as he’s not timed…forget about Week 3, which is likely to be Rufus, but since it’s the last week, he’ll likely be timed and by that point, I’ll be too far behind and, frankly, pretty sure the care factor will be very low…grrr…didn’t get the “Happy Player” memo, did you, TinyCo?

Like everyone else, the vests are elusive with only 15/24 and 4 days 9 hours left. I also need 3 posters and have 96/130 swords.
Had a glitch on the Generals, clicked on them and nothing happened!
Then an ERROR when ever I clicked on a Redcoat Every time I clicked on Peter or Chris to chase them, I only lost a few hours, the update seemed to fix it!
Does anyone else wonder about Thedore Logan’s voice??
He has two phrases when I click on him while he’s at Musketeer Mikes:
1) “If you’re so great, why don’t you prove it?”
2) “Get down on your hands and knees fatty!”
These sound more like Clevelands dead wife Loretta, not what I assume a stoner like Ted would sound like!

Squeaky bum time is here – I need 9 vests and 4 posters with less than 2 days to go, and I’ve been diligent (between life and work) about collecting, not happy with TinyCo on this one, the buy price is 304 clams now, way too much, not even close, come on, TinyCo, really?!?!?

I’m having trouble with the posters, only 3 so far with a little over 3 days left.
Anyone else hearing the wrong voiceover for Ted? Not sure which character it is but it’s definitely not Ted.

Yes, posters and vest drops have been an issue for many of us, I’d advise you message TinyCo.
And yes Ted’s voice seems off

There is an option to buy the new time capsules using the old ones as payment. 5 new for 20 old and 15 new for 50 old. Plus there are new quests referring back to the colonial time in the week 2 quests. So the old ones are far from useless. Keep collecting them and trade em in. 😊

Drop rates are pretty bad. That and posters (I’ve gotten 7 in nearly 6 days). I don’t think I’m going to make it.
Also he now has a voice, but sounds like some sassy woman. I think TinyCo put the wrong sound file for him.

Hey out there, is anyone else getting an error, null not valid? I can load game but within 30 secs or so error comes up, small tv screen comes up, and I have to close out…

6 tries – only once i got vests so now i have 3/24 with 5 days to go … i must get 2 drops per day at least to collect all vests …
other items are dropping ok … Bonnie is doing well with the Posters but not the building (0 drops from the building)

Many of are having issues with Vests not dropping, I’m advising you message TinyCo so they can see this is a widespread issue

Hey guys!
Every time I try to repair the building associated with this character, my game freezes and crashes. Quite frustrating, I’ve tried countless times. I’ve also downloaded the patches (I’m on adroid), but that didn’t help.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot, ’cause otherwise I’ll sit this eveng out…

I have had gettesburgers for four days and have not have one drop from it. It now seems impossible to collect enough from it to open Theodore as only three days left on the timer. How is this fair?

I’ve had it for 2 days with no drops. I wonder if you open it before the character is ready something goes haywire and nothing drops. The other rare item (posters) I already have 8 of the 10 needed. I wrote to them today. Let’s see what they say but I’m not expecting much.

I’m finished with Theater Masks and Swords and I’m halfway there on the Vests with 4 days 15 hours to go. I still need 6 more Hats but it’s the Posters that are the problem for me – only 3 so far.

Interesting how the cost per item for vests and posters are ridiculously expensive as well (27 and 32 each respectively). I dropped gettyburgers straight after Mikes and have cleared regularly since then. I have 13 more clears left and need collect on 4 of them (lets say 1 in 3) and with the drop rates so far I’m not confident. Just hope TC listen and act on the comments.
Oh, and I briefly saw another era option yesterday (renaissance). Didn’t click on it coz no idea what it would’ve done to the game.

As its not necessary to complete the main Questline I’ve left it just now until I see what Phase 2 entails, but I’ve a feeling the new phase will require different time capsules so the ones I’ve hoarded won’t be as useful – but I’d hoard them just in case

I’ve been doing the same. But I can’t help think that if TinyCo uses different Time Capsules for the Renaissance era, the payouts for the Tasks seem poorly planned. Specifically, 32 time capsules for Bill and Ted’s two tasks. Just to have Ted unlocked, the player would have already purchased everything except for the last 3 decorations. Which in total only requires 45 Time Capsules. So…why would the next two payouts add up to 64 Time Capsules…unless there was some future use for them.

The drop rates for the vests are atrocious. I wrote to tiny and they said they forwarded it to the team which is good. But if they don’t fix the drop rates well then no Ted for me

When I complained about it last week, it took a couple of days but they replied with the standard thank you for…we will let developers know blah blah blah. However, I got all my drops after that. So I was able to get Ted already. I don’t know if complaining helped, but…
Hope many drops are in your future. I’ll bet you still have plenty of time. I was one of the impatient and accidentally placed him within mins of the event starting. Doh! I complained because after 7 no drops from Bonnie, and 5 no collects on the building, I knew there had to be a problem.

Accidentally built Musketeer Mikes on Sunday but managed to not complete the process by clicking on the completion check mark. Was trying to collect a bunch of materials so I could build the needed buildings and tea crates. This morning I went into 1773 and the “Unlocked Ted” note was up, so I had to complete that to continue. Now I only have 2 of the 3 buildings build and have no tea crates. Really concerned with the drops and qty to get him now.

Just a shame that the deplorable drop rates for “vests” will mean that many of us will probably not be able to get him. I have already purchased Bill (I did so when this event began) and now it looks like Ted is also a premium character. The drop rates even if you (play 24/7 and) placed the building days ago have made sure of that this time. 😩

I just tried to collect from Gettyburgers yet again – still NOTHING. This is like my 9th or 10th time in a row of nothing dropping from that building. So ridiculous.
I have about a day and a half left and still only have 9 vests. I placed the building at the start of this phase, have tried to collect every 6 hours, have even used a few clams here and there.. This is taking all of the enjoyment out of the game for me.. 😠

No drop.. yet again! I just tried about two minutes ago to collect from the building again.. nothing. 😡 A 7 day timer and 3 whole days with absolutely nothing..

So with 12 hours left on the clock, I FINALLY got a drop. Then with 6 hours left, I did not get another one. With about a minute left I DID get another drop. I decided to spend 36 clams to take a chance and rush another drop – and I GOT ONE! So I ended up with 18 vests altogether in the end.
I then just bought him outright. In the end, including the extra clams, I think I spent between 200 – 250 clams on Ted. The price of a premium character just about.
Simply put, you can’t just have Bill without Ted..

Their maths must be wrong on this as you need at least one drop per day to complete and Rares never drop 1 in 3

Yeah, it’s all over for me. 17 hours left and I’m exactly where I was 20 hours ago. Quite disappointing as in the last event I had good drops throughout and unlocked everything. Now I’m not even going to unlock the most important character (IMO) in the event
