Yes with the new Quahog’s Excellent Adventure event, we’re getting some new Characters and one of them just happens to be Tehuantl.
Let’s throw you some information on what Tehuantl can do in our silly lil games.
Tehuantl is a New Character added during the Quahog’s Excellent Adventure event. As with many characters in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff! You will be directed to unlock him via Pt. 3 of the Bogus Journeying questline, which directs you to repair Tehuantl’s Temple in the Mayan Empire Playspace. Once you repair this Tehuantl will appear for you to start unlocking . You will only have 7 days to fully unlock him though as he is a timed character.
Requires:
36 Bows & Arrows(Always): Clear Mayan Warrior
24 Feather Shield (Common): Clear Tropical Birds
18 Obsidian Arrow Head (Uncommon): Connie Dig For Buried Treasure OR Bonnie Shop For Souvenirs
14 Mayan Day Keeper (Uncommon): Lois Pencil .in Doomsday OR Mayan Calender Kiosk
10 Fertility Statues(Rare): Herbert Grab A Piece Of History OR Stone Carvings
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials for the character Tehuantl will be available in your game.
He does come with a Questline, Reigning Cats, Not Dogs, more on that in another post.
Tehuantl does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP!

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

No idea who Tehuanti is. A quick google search showed it’s from some random video game? Seems like a missed opportunity considering the event is based on time travel I think there would have been many more appropriate characters to release. Maybe try releasing some from the actual show Family Guy!

Remember you only have until the end of the event to unlock him now there is less than 7 days left, the event is due to finish on the 14th, so no real reason to delay

You shouldn’t have waited… I think most people unlocked him with 1-2 days to go on the timer (I unlocked him last night). Bows & arrows weren’t difficult to get at all and some of your characters will be needed for week 4

i’m almost done with Lois’ items (the building helped a lot) and 16/24 shields with 2 days to go

I think I’m on the losing end of the algorithm lottery on this one – two days left, his ‘buy’ price is over 400 clams, no drops from any of the buildings for the last three days, and the character drops are running around 50%…I’m thinking the ‘buy’ cost will be ~200 clams right before the time runs out…I already purchased two premium characters, so I doubt I’ll be paying clams for him…sometime the lottery is in your favor, sometimes it’s not…

Got him with 2 days 20 left on the timer. Working my way through his questline since he doesn’t do anything this else this week.

i might get him at the end of event still working on getting red capsules to unlock all his buildings very slow process to many things to keep track of to trade in other capsules

Shouldn’t have any problem getting him, 2 days 3 hours left, 4 of the Feather Shields left to get, and finally got Mayan Brian last night. Hopefully Tehuantl helps in the last phase of the event somehow (though probably no more than a long task for a single Mayan time capsule similar to Da Vinci’s lackluster contribution).

I still need 14 more of those supposedly “common” feather shields with 2d 6.5h left on the timer. I didn’t have any problems collecting the uncommon and rare items… >.>

I’m in the same position Clob with 2 & a half days left on the clock and I need 11 feather shields, but I’ve just unlocked Mayan Brian which I hope will make the difference!?
I can’t say the character excites me but I should JUST do it…….may have to buy the last couple of feather shields?

I was in a similar position yesterday, but they’re coming in quickly with 2 characters now on bird duty (unlocked Mayan Brian yesterday). I’m now 3 away with 36 hours to go.

Yeah, they did something wonky with the drop setup or they fixed it. The drop rate definitely improved to “common” after I had both going at the birds. With just Jerome I had a ratio of about 1 out of every 6 chances. With both going I’ve only not gotten one once. I only have 22.5 hours left but I’m down to needing just 5 more so it’s looking good.

Good luck! I unlocked him with still over 24 hours to go. The buyout price for you shouldn’t be so bad, if you have to cross that bridge
