I’m going to be updating this as I move along in my game as Bunny is locked out of her game just now, so keep popping back to get all the latest verified information for the Sam Boss Battle, apart from that everything is done.
First up, the Basics
- Players will need to be on the App Market Version 1.50.0 or higher in order to see the event.
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s complete.
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version (iOS, Google, Amazon, Facebook). NOT Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. (Keep it under 10). If you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some incomplete Tasks already on your List to make room for more
GLITCHES & ISSUES
We know some players who have updated to Version 1.50.5 have been locked out their games, TinyCo is well aware of the issue. If you’ve not updated as yet, then DON’T. I’m playing this new event on IOS without doing the update, so hopefully you can too.

RACCOONS
These are the new little baddies in this event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get some Trashcans, you’ll be awarded one for free after you learn about Raccoons at Part 1 of the main Questline, but after that you will need to earn them.
Trashcans (Uncommon): Lois Take Out The Trash OR Bruce Upcycle OR Bonnie Snoop On Neighbours OR Hillbilly Stewie Bang On A Trashcan OR Motorized Mystery Box OR Buy from Store
Once you have a Trashcan you will find Raccoons wandering your sidewalks simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen, move the Trashcan until the green target circle is on a Raccoon, you’ll know it’s in target as it will turn purple, then simply hit the check mark to Shoo the Racoon away.
i am seeing 4 Raccoons appear every 2 hours or so, up to a maximum of 8 in my game.
The rewards for the shooing away Raccoons are as follows:

1x White Trash (Always)
1x Trucker Belt (Chance)
$50 (Always)
SAM BOSS BATTLE
Similar to previous events, here you need to collect a resource, Flowers’ then use it to attack a Boss at Levels 1-5 in order to gain rewards to unlock a full character version of the Boss. This time it’s Sam, a character that appeared in the Family Guy episode To Live And Die In Dixie. And as I said you’ll need Flowers to attack her.

Firstly in order to be able to Attack Sam you will need to tap on her, you’ll find her wandering your Sidewalks just like the Raccoons. Once you tap her you will see the Attack screen, showing how many Flowers you need to battle at that level. You’ll also see the rewards for Attacking her at that Level, she drops Dungarees and White Trash. And basically you need to keep collecting Flowers and attacking her until you fully defeat her or her 24hr timer runs down. Once it does she will go into a Cool Down for 6 hours and you’ll need wait for her to return to start attacking again.

So, I pretty much have all of the info for the Sam Boss Battle, minus the white trash payout from level 3… I missed writing that one down & couldn’t easily calculate it, like I did for the overalls on level 3. In any event, hope this helps!

So as of this morning…8 sets of drops from the 3 characters and I have 7 trash cans which have dropped 7 white trash and 1 ticket belt…. Does 7/24 count as uncommon? Anyway by those numbers this event is mathematically impossible, so that’s that…

Shouldnt these mini-events be kind of fun and a relaxing break from the normal major events? Has anybody ever told TinyCo people are sick of this kind of stuff event after event after event? Its almost like they want people to stop playing so people will turn to Futurama.

bought the redneck statue like a dope and it drops the trash every 20 hrs. I paid way too much for such a crappy payout. I like the decos so i splurged… will i ever learn?

Perhaps a bit off topic but is there something I need to do to see the promised clams for installing and running apps? I’ve not seen a single clam.

Go to the offers screen, scroll to the bottom click missing clams it will show you list what you’ve downloaded and whether clams awarded. If not click on the missing clams option at the app info and submit a ticket asking for it to be looked at.

I finally decided to update in iOS a few minutes ago. Figured if I was locked out, wouldn’t matter because trash cans weren’t dropping. No problems so far with the update, and finally got two trash cans. Also clam tv is working again, it had still been broken since the last event started without the update.

Hey, remember the Firefighter mini-event which had lots of “always” drops? Yet to have a single “uncommon” trash bag drop. Deuce that.

Yep. Sadly it looks like this event is a wash from the start.
Had one trash can drop right at the very start, then not a single one since. Absolutely ridiculous.
But, I am guessing “drops are working as intended”, so who are we to complain?

Me too. All three characters struggling with it several times now, with nothing to show for their efforts. It seems as though uncommon does not mean what we think it means… Can’t get anywhere until those trash cans drop since can’t clear raccoons and get trash bags to buy buildings to drop other stuff. Not even that little Valley Don’t vending machine. Which I really want because I have never met a Mountain Dew that I didn’t like. And that’s a lot of different Mountain Dews today thanks to the energy drink fad.

Mark said it right. “Uncommon” our collective a#$e$!!! Have yet to get a trash can to drop and I’m not spending that much on a character skin. This is ridiculous. And I am starting to think they are doing this intentionally to kill this game. I don’t think they ever contemplated this game living this long.

More likely it’s just a glitch. They wouldn’t want to push us away from the event this soon. Once they get past their usual delusion that things are dropping as expected, they’ll fix it. The problem is that it’s a very short event. They might have to adjust requirements.

Because they are concentrating on the Futurama game, and this game has fallen to low priority. I used to get real responses from the tech folks, now it is obvious they just don’t care.

It is Redneck Peter and Race Car Driver Joe, so you must have these costumes to get the drop tasks.

Yes, already seeing bad drop rate in my game. About done with this game. Even if you buy a premium character or building it has become nearly impossible to get past the 2 stage of an event because of the bad drop rates.

It’s weird some people are having such issues… hopefully the latest update will fix it for everyone. I typically get 2 or 3 trashcans every drop, but after the update I got 1 haha. I’ve started Part 5, should have Redneck Peter within 24 hours, and I’m totally freemium!
