It was one of those short but oh so sweet, blink and you’ll miss it events. But that doesn’t mean we don’t want to hear how you got on in the Southern Fried Griffins event.
These polls are really just to share how we all did, and what we thought of events. And personally I liked the set up of this mini-event.
Two new premium character costumes, 1 new freemium unlockable character and 1 freemium unlockable character costume for Peter seemed like a perfect amount of content for a week-long event, and although things started slowly due to Trashcan issues, we eventually found a way past this, YEEHAW. Thanks to everyone who sent in a comment with their Trashcan advice, there’s too many to name you all individually, but you know who you are! But many thanks for helping us take out the trash. Nuff said!
My main gripes with this cute little event are why did Chris play no part, after all Sam was his sweetheart? Also what happened to Hillbilly Stewie, why no banjo baby look? And was it just me or did anyone else think that apart from Sam, that the Respectable Moose was the best darn thing about this event? But that’s just me being fussy, as in general this was a very, very good little event.
And with that I will shut up so you can take a minute away from your games to share your success with us and as always I will bring you the results next week.

It was really easy once I got into the YEEHAW mood! That wasn’t hard since I was born and raised a county girl, till at 18, the big D called me away! Lol
My favorite was the moose!

I love this event, especially with Sam as a new freemium character. Loved the dialogue and overall drops rates. Trash cans dropped all right for me, but was quite tight. If only I had a better appreciation of the trash cans issues earlier – Yeehaw! (Again, what would we do without this amazing Addicts site!)
I spent 15 clams to speed up some of the tasks, which on hindsight, is not necessary. Apart from that lament, I am happy I got Redneck Peter, and Sam eventually. The requirements for Sam were very reasonable, unlike previous ones (remember Ganesha?). Credits to Tinyco for getting this one right.
One grouse is probably that Stewie costume is premium again. My guess is that going forward, this would be the norm.

(Again, what would we do without this amazing Addicts site!)”…my thoughts exactly, I would have been frustrated and given up on this one had it not been for RT and Bunny – as it was, it became almost immediately manageable and fun…even though I didn’t finish the main questline, which I honestly don’t care about as there is no incentive to do so (HINT, TINYCO!!), I was able to clear out some old tasks…

Same, didn’t get Peter either. Uncommon and Rare drops are horrible for limited time events. Playing this game very little now, once every day…maybe. And definitely not spending any real clams on it. Seems pointless with the drop rates.

It’s a game that needs constant attention I’m afraid, just dipping in once or twice a day doesn’t work, hey sometimes dropping in 20 times a day doesn’t get you everything. Sorry lose another player if you decide walk away from the game though

Thanks. I think the only reason I am still playing the game at all is because I get your blog updates in my e-mail, which keeps me somewhat interested. Keep up the good work, even if I am a part time player now.

this mini-event was irritating a hell.
i never had any in-game pop ups or warnings to say when the event was ending. i was really close to unlocking Sam so when i ran my app this morning and it told me to re-load so MIB event i was a bit pee’d off id missed out on her.
no doubt i’ll be allowed to BUY sam later in the year for 200 clams!!
