Bouncing by to try and help with some variable issues I am seeing spread to Players games with Daily Tasks, Game Link, and Game Crashing.
MIB WEAPONS ROOM – SALE OFFER
Those who didn’t buy the MIB Weapons Room at the start of the event will be seeing an offer to purchase it now at a discounted clam cost and with the information it will drop 6 Arrest Warrants.
We are seeing reports its only dropping 1 Arrest Warrant as it did when released at the start of the event so hold off purchasing this until we verify whether it will drop 1 or 6 Arrest Warrants every 6 hours. If you bought it as a result of seeing the offer below and are only getting 1 Arrest Warrant please message TinyCo.

DAILY TASKS CRASHING THE GAME
I am seeing an increase in reports from Players that they sent Characters off to complete the Daily Tasks and now the Characters are stuck. Whether on a Task or inside a Building linked to the Daily Task. Word that tapping on the Check Mark to clear the Tasks just crashes the game.
I have alerted TinyCo and am awaiting an update. Until then, I am collecting Screenshots of the opening Splash Screen from impacted Players and forwarding them on to TinyCo myself. You are welcome to send one too. familyguyaddicts@gmail.com Known issue, no more SS needed at this time. Thanks. 🙂
You can also message TinyCo directly from your in game messaging. Hopefully they can resolve this quickly.
UPDATE 230PM EASTERN: TinyCo stated cause of this and a Consuela ” dailyGoaltest error” are caused by newest app update in Google Play market (1.52.1). They’re working on it. Hang in there.
GAME CRASHING
I am seeing at the same time Players not even able to get into the game. The Loading Splash Screen appears and then the game just kicks you out.
I know I did run into this early in the AM this morning. I had to try like 20 times for the game to finally let me back in. This also could be same thing causing Daily Task issue. Not sure, but for now I have reported it.
Use the “Report Issue” option that pops up when the game kicks you out to send a crash report to TinyCo on the issue.
Also, keep trying off n on to get back into the game. You may have success after repeated tries.

CAN’T LINK GAME
This is still ongoing. Players that reinstalled their games or at some point the link to their game was broken and now they can’t get the game to relink to their game play.
I am seeing this issue mainly impacted Google Plus linked games. TinyCo is still in progress on what is causing this. In the meantime, message them from the temp game you can get into. Or email them help@tinyco.com
MISSING MATERIALS
If any of you experienced or are experiencing an issue with any of your material totals since Phase 3 launched please message TinyCo with full details in order they can look at your game closer.
I know it can be frustrating to not be able to get into your games. Know that I am doing all I can on my end to try and help Players regain access. Have patience.

I just started playing this game with the Rocky event and I must say that I have nec=ver had so many glitches in a game before. I have played TSTO since it’s inception and while an occasional glitch does arise it is fixed rather quickly. Here not the same treatment. The game has been glitched since Friday and I think I am done with it. Apparently, if you get help with clams, you are shut out or are not able to finish. I was banned from the leaderboard within the first couple of days. I play honestly and do not use the clams to buy anything unnecessary or to beat the game. Yet I still have not been able to complete any of the minigames so far. I worked to get all the necessary requirements for Rocky and didn’t get him. The same goes for Edgar last week. You complete all the necessary tasks, click on the unlock icon and it disappears. But not from your menu. The timers in Futurama have been a problem as well. Nobody can match the play of TSTO.

If you’re playing an altered game TinyCo will not help you with game issues and you are rightly banned from the Leaderboards, sorry but thems the rules.

I stopped doing the daily tasks as soon as I saw that some players were having issues. Can anybody tell me if this has been resolved? I don’t want to get caught up in that glitch as this event has been going along very well for me so far.

Nope not resolved and it’s holding up the entire event for me as three different characters are stuck so I can’t finish three separate quests… stay well away from the daily quests!

My Dr. Hartman is locked in a daily quest loop, so I am potentially losing a pair of MiB handcuffs every four hours. This is upsetting. I am unfamiliar with Facebook Game Room, but I shall look into it. How do I log in to my game, if I download a new copy on another device with a different OS?
(Off topic, Tigger, have you seen Bert Kreischer’s stand up bit about his college trip to Russia? Hilarious!)

If your game is saved to Facebook or an email account… there are a few steps to do this.
*On the New Device, install Family Guy
*Once installed, open the game and you will see the New Game Tutorial
*Play through the Tutorial until Chris has to help hold the TV antennae
*At that point, you will see the “blue cookie” menu button appear on lower left side of screen
*Go into the Menu, Account Settings
*Log into your saved game info (Facebook or Emails)
*LOAD your saved game (VERY IMPORTANT YOU LOAD THE PRE-EXISTING GAME!!! DO NOT LINK THE NEW ONE!!)

It is in BETA testing still so not all Players will see it yet, nor have same access, even prizes and wins will vary. When it is fully live to all Players, we will put up a main post on it.
In the meantime any feedback on the item, please send to TinyCo via in game messaging so they can utilize the information while it is being tested for the final product when it goes live to all Players. 🙂

Bunny, thanks for this post and trying to represent all players to get Tinyco to fix the glitches. I am on Android and turned off auto updates of app function. Saw this update recently and did not proceed due to past memories of possible glitches from updates. Doest his mean I need to still hold off the updates in my Play store? So far the problems mentioned here did not appear in my game.

I was having the daily quests crash too yesterday. Cleared the tasks through the Facebook game. Worked for me. FYI 😊

Similarly, normally play on android tablet. Switching over to my iPad, i was able to free up ‘trapped’ characters from the daily challenge.

Hi Bunny and RT – any updates for today? I’m linked to Google, and only have one device to play on, so clearing the daily task on another OS isn’t an option for me. Still crashing when I try to tap on certain items/tasks, so still locked out of several characters…ugh…messaged TinyCo and got a canned response, no information whatsoever…

I was already behind because of long timers but now with Jerome and Mort glitched I can’t get enough arrest warrants to do much. This is just about the last straw for me too. The bad thing is that I have more clams saved up than I’ve ever had.

I hope they reimburse only the players effcted by glitch. If they just add time to event or timers all that does is make players not effected by glitch get farther ahead on the leader boards, while those effected just able to get characters.

Unlikely. I was affected for a day before I fixed the issue by using the Facebook Game Room to clear it. The leaderboards are meaningless anyway

Still no answer from support about all the Neuralyzers I lost when Phase 3 went Live – and the timer for Flash is now at 4 days with NO WAY for me to make any progress. If they don’t fix this for me, I’M DONE with this frustrating game!

If you have the possibility, log in with your account on a Kindle on there closes the day task, remains there a few minutes and then announce itself again on your device at. I gave Chris, Brain, Jerome and Dr.Hartmann free again .Hoffe it folds with you also.Good luck

Since the MIB/Flash Gordon event when I try to start the game from a notification banner (IOS) it will crash, so I’m having to start from its icon – never had this problem before in 2+ yrs.

Thank you for all your help.over the years…just unsubscribed from updates. Im ginally feleting the game and not playing anymore. This is the glitchiest game I’ve played and having spent money on it, I’m sick of it happening during timed events. I’ve never had trouble with TINYCO’s other game, Avengers Academy, and even though I never finish every task, it still feels more doable than QfS. Ive been glitched out of the game for over 2 days and I’m done. Thanks again, Addicts…you are a fantastic resource!

SOLVED! I had the Daily Task glitch. When I would click on Stop N Shop, Griffin House, or Don Corleone, it would crash the game.
I solved this by loading the game using Facebook Game Room – The game did not crash and I was able to complete the glitched Daily Task.
I still lost almost 2 days worth of collecting for 2 tasks: Chris’s “Drop the Hammer” and Brian’s “Hit on Police Dogs” tasks.
I hope they decide to extend this week’s timed unlock of Flash Gordon because of these glitches, but they probably will not 😦

Thanks for the tip! It worked for me, and I’ve finally freed up Chris, Jerome, & Brian that were all stuck in the same buildings as the daily quest characters.

Yep, I am one of those “lucky” folks that have my characters “locked” in a house. I have not been able to use Peter, the worms, Chris, Brian or Lois for the last 12 hours. Most likely to not get anything done, which is lovely when I have a timed character!

They are working on it, hopefully see a fix soon. Another player said they managed get past it by logging in on a different device and clearing the tasks, if you have access to another device might be worth trying.

Actually installed on a 2nd Android tablet, three characters still crash game Evey time they are tapped. I don’t have Facebook or Apple devices, and since TinyCo abandoned the windows versions of the games there is no solution until they fix it. The original installed Android tablet won’t even get past the initial splash screen despite trying dozens of times over the last 20 hours. At least FWOT is working well.

TinyCo does not control the Clams Video. All they are involved is it is in the game. The rest… all 3rd Party. So they can’t alter, fix, change, etc. Instead they have to wait on the 3rd Party to do all that. Which takes FOREVER and a day.
This is why they are BETA testing a new feature THEY control in the game. 🙂

I guess you missed actually reading my comment. Please don’t come on my site and be condescending to me for helping Players. There is no reason for it.
They HAVE listened to Players and fighting with 3rd Party since to get it resolved. Since it still is happening and nothing being done… like I said in the comment you just discounted… THEY started work on THEIR own option for giving Players a fun thing to earn free clams THEY control. THEY put it in the game in January of this year (8 months ago) after they completed the basic construction of it, and have been BETA testing it since to ensure it works properly before THEY drop it on all Players. As THEY don’t want a repeat of the 3rd Party’s Clam Video issue.

Just so you hear a different perspective, this app for clams has been working just fine on my phone, iOS. So perhaps it varies by platform. No issues with lag, no matter what is out in my game. I happen to also have the wheel prize game bunny referred to in beta testing (just appeared a few days ago in my game) and no issues with it so far… cool idea! I mean, some slots are kinda worthless (coins or XP) but also seeing 3 or 10 clams on wheel as well as a random slot featuring a costume, deco, or sometimes even a character!

Same here, on Android. Videos start playing immediately and there’s no problem with lag in my game. I think it’s just people with really crappy devices having a moan about it here. I have the wheel prize thing too – so far I’ve only won coins though lol!

Google has been REALLY weird with the app lately. Google Plus users can’t link their game. Updates creating issue. I don’t know if it is the new OS or what… but hoping they pinpoint it soon. 😦

The one thing that’s been freezing/crashing my games this week is when I watch ads for clams/pizza. It’s been happening on Family Guy and Futurama.

Good, it’s not just me, not good that it’s affecting people, but more that it’s not on my end…started last night, I believe it is related to the daily tasks as that pops up every time, and even clicking it to close it caused the game to crash…now, it just crashes as soon as I get in…yes, game linked to Google…

I had the problem with the Daily Task resetting to 23h on both of my Android devices, but it doesn’t seem to affect the Facebook app, so I’ve managed to clear the Daily Task via the Facebook app.

I borrowed my son’s tablet and downloaded the game on it and was able to clear the tasks from there, yay!

occurred after the update, you can play around it, just do not try to collect “ANY” Tanline tasks, they keep resetting which crashes the game.
if you can get in, just avoid those tasks,
( different tasks on everyone’s individual games)
collect current “Event” tasks only,
support has been notified, we will need to wait for an update.
(something similar happened on Futurama -Worlds of Tomorrow,
took TinyCo a day to create a fix)

Issue many are having is that a Character they need is now locked due to it. I too hope its a fast clearing issue.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing but I can’t use Meg or Jerome right now because of it. They are stuck. Any attempts to free them crashes the game.
