Yes it looks like TinyCo have learned a lesson or two from going back to High School and are trying to be the popular kid again by dishing out some lipstick to us Addicts.
A new and very welcome Task should be dropping in your games NOW to help you add to your Lipstick total and thus help you unlock Cher. So look out for the A Touch Of Besuty task and starting creating those Hamster Traps.

well, I slept a full night, had meetings today and could only get to the bathroom, um, gaming room once. So, missed the opportunity to pass this. Hoping for happier drop rate that others are seeing. Now I am at least getting one per four traps I spring. Cher should be mine before the event is over!!!

all i need now is clip boards just unlocked peters costume yesterday and have almost all the buildings so going to bank hall passes before i go into week 2….

Yes I’m having the same problems Heather.
Been unable to play since yesterday. Not the end of the world I know, but frustrating when you’ve spent 270 clams on Ferris Bueller to get a head start, then you lose any ground waiting for an update!

When the offer dropped for me this morning I was quite pleased, as I still needed 9 lipsticks or so. 12 hours later I am now 2 Hamster Traps away from unlocking this quest……. but I now only need 1 lipstick as the drops have improved significantly today. Oh well, at least it means I will have Cher in another 2 hours either way!

Man, TinyCo is making it very hard to keep hating them! I bought Ferris so I didn’t need the lipstick help. Just got the last 2 I needed and unlocked Cher. But if I didn’t have Ferris, I would have definitely needed the help. Good luck to all those who can use this lifeline to unlock Cher.

I think it’s interesting as I’ve noticed a significant increase in lipstick drops from clearing Science Experiments in the last 24 hours or so – I struggled to get 23 in the first four days, I now have 38/46, so 15 in less than 24 hours…I’m dropping at least 12 cheeses per day, so I’ll likely earn Cher before I earn the extra lipsticks…kudos to TinyCo (careful now, Chris, we know what happened the last time you complimented TinyCo, ugh) in matching the drops to the creation time, it takes four hours to get the cheeses and four hours to create the traps, so after the first cycle, we’re getting cheese at the same rate we can create traps…that’s OK, we don’t mind taking the time for tasks, just give us the drops…creation times of greater than two hours is bad…really bad..,so an hour is good, IMHO…

It is a very welcomed task. All I have been doing for 3 days is trying to get lipstick. The drops have been more than rare, 5 since Sunday. Now that they have dropped this task it’s obvious I’m not the only frustrated player. Since Cher was available you knew the 46 rare drops would be an issue. Still need 17 so this should help get me back on track but after thinking I was a day or two ahead I’m now a day or two behind

I just finished my lipsticks and picked up Cher so fortunately I don’t need this deal. Anyone think we will need lipsticks for later? I’m debating if I should clear up side task lines or keep earning cheese.

No, I think lipsticks were only for Cher, but I’d continue to do things to get hamster wheels and trade them for Hall Passes before next phase, as you’ll definitely need Hall Passes.

Holy crap I am honestly taken aback that tiny co. is actually doing something like this and I got to say, I appreciate it as I’m still in need of like 18 or so. Though the timer is certainly not appreciated…

great !!! now i can get Peter on cheese task as well instead of hamster wheel .. i will also stop attacking the hamsters and save my traps for week 2 cuz im sure were gonna need them for some more drops or challenges … i need only 11 lipsticks so this is perfect

I wouldn’t worry about saving the traps. They will have a new item to collect for week two. The hall passes are what you need to stock up on. The passes will continue as the currency throughout the event.

yeah ive saved 24 hall passes so far ….
and apparently u cant have more than 8 traps so i used them … and got lipstick from them all .. they must’ve changed the rarity .. now i only need 4 more to unlock Cher … who is now voiced

Unfortunately, you can only save 8 traps at a time, so IMHO, you might as well keep grinding and collecting hall passes…those you can collect as many as possible and I’m hoping (based on past events) they will continue to be the currency required to place the buildings needed for drops…again, JMHO…

In re-reading, I think you meant collecting cheese, yes, that you can collect as many as you want…I’m still going for hall passes as I want to be able to drop as many buildings as possible once phase 2 kicks in…again, it’s all about individual play and strategy…

That is helpful. I have had all the items except lipstick since Sunday. I still need 9 or 10. I was worried I would be late on week 2 because I couldn’t complete the Cher task.
