I know many of you are just starting to see the event and thinking unless you’ve got a plethora of the Rocky Times In Quahog characters then this is going to be very difficult. I agree, I’m playing through things and will be feeding back thoughts to TinyCo. But I think best way to proceed is decide what you want from the event and concentrate on that, that means you may choose to ignore the new characters Mrs Giant Chicken and concentrate on a returning character instead.

Yes, you will also find various returning characters and costumes from the Rocky Times In Quahog event in your store to buy for Red Stars, these include Ivan Drago, Deirdre Jackson, Clubber Lang, Rocky, Boxer Stewie, Boxer Lois. Who you will see will depend on what characters you already have. All have tasks to help drop Salmon. These characters are only available to buy during Week 1 of the event and will disappear from your store when you trigger the Week 2 main Questline next week.

UNICYCLE RIDING BEARS
You will trigger them and learn about them at Part 3 of the main Questline Best of 2017s Past. You will find them wandering your sidewalks and you will need to use a Salmon to clear them.
Basically to bait (clear) them Tap on a Bear that’s wandering around, this will bring up the targeting screen showing you need a Salmon to clear them, it will also show you the rewards.
Simply drag the Salmon over a Bear until it’s targeted in the green circle, the Bear will turn purple, then tap the Chechmark to clear it.

Is any one character better than the rest? I mean, if it comes down to it, should I get Clubber, Ivan, or Boxer Stewie? Which will work better for this event in any possible way? Will any of them perform any needed tasks in week 2? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No way of knowing if any use in Week 2. You can hold off spending until Week 2 launches and look here see what’s on offer

Just one thought for you… Stewie, while cute, is a costume, while Clubber and Ivan are full characters. I am going for characters first (and suspect most people will, except RT! ;-)), but if you like costumes, Stewie is the logical choice.

I won a character with the mystery box and then my game closed and now I can’t find the character!!

If it was a character check your inventory, if it was a costume check Als, if nothing showing check if you actually spent the 45 Red Flags, or if you got them back as the game crashing meant your mystery box try didn’t register. If it did take your Red a Flags but no prize contact TinyCo

Apollo just popped up as a clam purchase for me and said he had a fish task. I grabbed him but there is no task for fish at level 1. There are tasks that will become available at levels 3 and 6. Hopefully those drop fish or they forgot to add the task.

Hi Sunshine. I got the Apollo Creed pop up too. I got him since his salmon task is 3 hrs. I haven’t experienced any issues with his task. It appears as the second task for me since the first one is his character quest task. I’ll get the name of the task & post it later. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I received a pop up at start up of the game that Apollo Creed was returning to the ring in the game and had a task as a tier 1 character to get salmon but I do not see the task. Has anyone else received this pop up and maybe thought to take a screen shot or do you know when this task will be available and as always RT, thank you for all you do.

I just purchased Apollo creed for 190 clams, there’s a new offer saying he’s s tier 1 character and he can collect salmon every 3 hours.
Got him and there’s no 3 hour task for salmon.

i just got a pop-up about Apollo Creed for 190 clams and i bought him bcz they said hes tier 1 and will help with Salmons but I didn’t find his Salmon Task !!!!!!!!!! anyway i dont regret buying him cuz i love him ….

They will carry over but I don’t know if just to use for week 1 mystery box or if we will use them for week 2 as well.

The game completely freezes up on me after about 10 seconds of it loading. Haven’t been able to do anything so far. My WiFi is fine, and all other games run as normal. Really frustrating!

I only have Boxer Peter and Blunderlips Chris. Peter only drops 1 star every 4 hours and Chris may drop a salmon every 8 hours. Going to be a fun event 😐

Completing this weeks main Questline, I’m still completing it but I should have it up today or tomorrow so you’ll be able to see where you can delay your progress if necessary.

No, but people are asking how delay triggering week 2 – not completing week 1 quest line is a possible way to do it but hard tell with this event

Well to complete Part 7 you have to “make Mrs Giant Chicken pace” so there’s no danger of accidentally triggering week 2 until you’ve finished the chicken and sent in on a task!

Am confused now, as they just gave me a pop-up offer for Apollo for 190 Clams and it says he “as a Tier 1 character he can get Salmon every 3 hours”. So… does Apollo work correctly for everyone now, or no?

I recently logged in on my mobile device, and they posted an announcement that he was headed back into the game. As a Tier 1 character, he would have a 3-hour task to earn salmon. I checked him out of Tan Lines to put him to work, and they had no salmon-earning tasks listed for him, so I e-mailed support to ask of we can use him or not. At this time, I’m still awaiting a reply.

I am having that frame problem on my facebook for this quest. The problem is the controls surrounding the game (including quest lines, sound on/off, enlarge/shrink, experience points/clams/money) doesn’t frame in the game but covers only a portion of the screen. It’s annoying and I am not sure how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

I already have all the Rocky characters and boxer skins, so hopefully Week 1 will be easy for me.
One thing, though: With the Christmas event over and no more clams coming from the credit union, I wanted to put it into inventory and free up some land to place another building needed in future events. When I try to do this, a bubble appears at the top of the screen with Peter’s face on the left, and text on the right. The text reads, “This is too important to put away!” You can’t ignore it and out it away, anyway, either. Any idea why we need to keep the credit union on the playspace? If it’s so important, why was it an optional purchase via clams? If it’s essential to the game, you’d think they’d have made it a building you HAD to acquire in the Christmas Event, like Victor’s Secret or Your Junk in the Trunk or Yiddish Candle.

Yeah they usually put that on to stop accidental storage during clam payout period but it stays until next App Store update after which you can usually store them

I have all the boxers and costumes except the Stewie costume, so I’m hoping the same as you said. However, salmon drops are maybe 25% in my short experience, so I can’t imagine this will be a happy event for those who don’t have the characters…JMHO…

Not sure how much I will get as I only have Chris for collecting salmon and his task is twice as long as the other characters. An 8hr task with a drop rate of uncommon seems a bit unfair in a mini event.

From what I can tell so far I can’t play because I don’t have any boxing characters so I can’t get salmon either which is the only way to get Stars to get more boxing characters to get salmon to get stars to get boxers. stuck outside the loop
