There’s a glitch over at the Griffin place, and it’s seeing a lot of tasks popping up all over the place. Yes this glitch is going to see us having to do the Questlines again!!!
Yes, many of us who already had the Kung Pow Quahog characters unlocked and Questlines completed are seeing history repeat itself as their Questlines re-appear. I’ve reported this to TinyCo, but whether they can remove them or we need do the Questlines again I don’t know yet, I’ll let you know once I do.
Update: Ok now I know, TinyCo are going try remove them for us do we don’t get repetitive strain redoing them all. And they have, they should have disappeared from your game.
But until then, it’s just a task to the left….. then a task to the right…..
But seriously try to be careful you don’t put essential characters on Questline tasks instead of their cybersecurity software drop task as the Questline tasks will jump to the top of the profile task lists now!!!

Tinyco has been updating FGQFS on facebook for 24 hrs now. I wish they would hurry up. Will we get this time back considering the event ends in a few days?

I unlocked Kung Fu Herbert. The ! came up for his quest line but it was instantly ticked for the actions required and the quest line disappeared. So TinyCo removed all quest lines from that previous event whether you had completed them or not it seems.

No there was a glitch whereby some of us had over a dozen Kung Pow Questlines appear in our games and to fix that it looks like they pulled any Kung Pow Questlines from all games. Drop them a message they can maybe activate it for you again

I am aware what the glitch was as I had encountered repeated questlines too. I was just commenting that questlines from Kung Pow Quahog that had not previously been completed, due to not having unlocked the characters before, were also removed. Your update only referred to questlines that were repeating.

To fixed it for everyone by simply removing all Kung Pow Quahog Questlines, otherwise they’d have to manually do so in each players game, which would been massive job for support. But hopefully if you drop them message they can activate the Questline for you, as they are fun to do, the first time. 😅😅😅

The decision to take away the repeating questlines also eliminated the questlines for characters/skins that you are purchasing during the event. I just purchased Walking Joe and got the first stage of his questline upon crafting his skin but then the questline just disappeared from my options. I don’t really care because I only got the skin to help with this event and that’s where he will be focused but the questlines for new characters/skins are kind of fun to see whats available with a new character/skin even if they don’t get used until after the event.

They may have removed the tasks but now it has made the game on facebook unplayable as we get the usual message about them upgrading the game and that you can continue to play on mobile devices and usually when this happens at a weekend it last at least until Monday

Well looks like my original guess is going to be right as it is now Sunday night and still nothing, why did they start doing this late on Friday night if they knew they aren’t going to be working over the weekend and alienate a lot of players, wonder if they will compensate players or extend the event but going on previous events can’t see it happening.

Facebook is down “Pardon our Dust: We’re busy upgrading the game on Facebook right now, but you can still play on your mobile device!” I don’t have a device that would work. Hope they fix it soon. (Odd timing, late in the day and before a weekend.)

Times like this are where I wish they had a cancel task button. I know you can finish tasks early but that costs clams. This would just cancel the task without punishment or reward.

I thought that was rather amusing! I was looking at the game and thinking there is not a whole lot to do, and then “ping” “ping” “ping” all these exclamation marks and I went from 5 tasks to about 13! *chuckle*

Thanks for that – I’ve had 7 extra quest lines pop up again and all of them require characters involved in the current event (and the current task times are long enough without characters being diverted). On the plus side, it’s reminded me of some characters that I’ve had languishing in Tan-Lines since the Kung Pow event!

I’m really, really hoping that what this means is that these characters will contribute to the event, and someone just flipped the wrong switch for that, which caused the questlines to come back, and they’ll fix it to give these characters software drops.

That would be nice if they pulled an Apollo Creed with them. I’m glad I didnt take the offer to buy the Kung Pow Giant Chicken only to not be able to use him.
