Should I Buy – Fun new character and it that would really help you get moving  through this week of the event as he can get you fighting Robot Knights & Horde Troopers. However both of these have higher health than Barbarians and need 3 Water Elixir per battle , so Best Man can on,y battle as your levels of Water Elixir allow, so it’s going to be slow going. He will still help but not as much as he should for 220 clams.

DECORATIONS

Shrine Of The Sapphire Phoenix – 200 Drops 2x Blue Feathers every 6 hours.

Should I buy – Again I’d have said snap it up at 50 clams but at a 200, no way. You’d be better off spending few more clams to get Beast Man as he can defeat Robot Knights and Horde Troopers which gets you a lot more Blue Feathers.

Sword Of Power pedestal – 100 Eternia Coins

MATERIALS FOR CLAMS

You will find the option to buy Magic Dust in your Shopping Cart, the costs are as follows:

12 Mystic Water: Cost 48 Clams
24 Mystic Water: Cost 86 Clams
36 Mystic Water: Cost 122 Clams

NEED FOR STEED MYSTERY BOX

Costs 135 Clams per try. No duplicate prizes, so basically once you win an item it leaves the box.

Prizes:
Battle Brian
Big Bad Brian
Hades
Centaur Joe
Wind Raider
38 Mystic Water
8 Blue Feathers
18 Magic Dust
14 Red Feathers
45 Power Amulets

** Obviously the star prize is Battle Brian, and it took me 5 attempts to win him. My results were as follows:

45 Power Amulets
18 Magic Dust
14 Red Feathers
38 Mystic Water
Battle Brian

Total spend to win Battle Brian: 675 Clams

Should I try: It’s a lot of clams on a game of chance, sure TinyCo have listened and removed the repeatable materials, but materials still make up the majority of prizes, and are they worth 135 Clams? Not in my mind they aren’t. But the odds recently do seem to be a bit higher of winning the star prize, so although the Mystery Boxes are still overpriced in my opinion, you do have a better chance of a good outcome, but I didn’t have that luck this time, and 675 clams for a character is really hard to stomach.

3: BATTLE FOR PETERNIA – BARBARIAN

You’ll want to continue battling these, as they now have drops for Boy-At-Arms and He-Man. Nothing else has changed with these apart from the new drops of 1 Eternia Protein Powder and 1 Blond Mustach.

4: BATTLE FOR PETERNIA – HORDE TROOPER

During part 1 of the Main Questline you will trigger the Horde Trooper in the event area. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him and have one of this weeks event characters available unless you bought Beast Man you’re not going to be going into battle for a while. So concentrate on unlocking Boy-At-Arms and/or He-Man for now and don’t panic, you’ll get there.

Battling Horde Troopers is very similar to the Barbarian battle we did in Week 1.  Basically you will select up to 2 Characters to battle, where you will probably lose health and you’ll need to battle more than once to defeat the Horde Trooper. Then when defeated, you will earn Materials for the Event.

You will find the Horde Trooper in the Event Area when he shows up. Tapping on him will bring you up the Battle For Peternia screen, which gives you all the battle information.

I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below.

Opponent – Horde Trooper:
24 Hit Power, 10 Health, undisclosed chance of knockout

Characters You can Use (you can select up to 2 to battle):
Boy-At-Arms ~ 8 Hit Power, 8 Health, 25% Chance knockout, Heals in 4hrs
He-Man~ 12 Hit Power, 10 Health, 20% Chance knockout, Heals in ??
Beast Man~ 8 Hit Power, 10 Health, 20% Chance knockout Heals in 4hrs

WIN Payout:
40 Power Amulets (Always)
12 Blue Feathers (Always)
1 Sword Of Power (Always)

LOSS/ROUND Payout:
10 Eternia Coins

Cost To Battle: 3 Water Elixir (Always): Craft in Weapons Workshop, Battle Brian Mix Magical Cocktails

5: BATTLE FOR PETERNIA – ROBOT KNIGHT

During part 1 of the Main Questline you will trigger the Robot Knight in your Quahog, you’ll find them wandering your sidewalks.

You will be able start battling them as soon as you have 3 Water Elixirs as She-Ra can battle them, and if you bought Beast Man you can send 2 characters to battle at same time.

Battling Robot Knights is again very similar to the Barbarian battle we did in Week 1. Basically you will select up to 2 Character to battles,  you’ll probably lose health and you’ll need to battle more than once to defeat the Robot Knight. Then when defeated, you will earn Materials for the Event.

Tapping on a Robot Knight will bring you up the Battle For Peternia screen, which gives you all the battle information.

I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below.

Opponent – Robot Knight
6 Hit Power, 12 Health, undisclosed chance of knockout

Characters You can Use (you can select up to 2 to battle):
She-Ra ~ 6 Hit Power, 10 Health, 20% Chance knockout
Beast Man~ 8 Hit Power, 10 Health, 20% Chance knockout, Heals in 4hrs

WIN Payout:
20 Power Amulets (Always)
4 Blue Feathers (Always)
1 Laser Glove (Always)
1 Prince Disguise (Always)

LOSS/ROUND Payout:
10 Eternia Coins

Cost To Battle: 3 Water Elixir (Always): Craft in Weapons Workshop, Battle Brian Mix Magical Cocktails

CHARACTER HEALTH

Now a point worth mentioning again is about your character’s Health, it only starts to restore once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8.  And once you’re health starts to restore it will take time, some characters such as Beast Man take 4 hours, but others such as Peter The Barbarian takes 7 hours.

If you want speed up the time it’s going cost you clams I’m afraid.

There you have the overall basics to get you started through the second Week of the New Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. How many barbarians are there

  2. I sent He-Man to fight a Horde Trooper before the timer ran out but didn’t receive 50 clams. Have written to TinyCo but so far no response. Yet again, don’t know why I’m still playing this game!

    • Did He-Man defeat the Horde Trooper? He had to be part of the team to defeat it to count, just attacking isn’t enough.

      Like

      • I see. No it wasn’t a defeat but that’s a random outcome we don’t control and the message only said to send him. I sent him…

Also only just learned it could’ve been a team, which would’ve increased the chances of a defeat too. It didn’t say that. So annoying they don’t describe these things properly.

Support have now responded just by saying the system didn’t record the goal as complete. Obviously. They might as well have said they don’t care, at least that would’ve been honest!

        • Just went and checked my screenshots and unfortunately it definately says send him to defeat – I put it in the overview post as well to try make players aware just attacking wasn’t enough.

I put the number of characters you can use to attack the various baddies in the overview posts… As players often don’t notice the extra character boxes on attack screens when there’s lots going on.

But I’m sorry you missed out on the clams as you didn’t realise the exact requirements of the task 😒

  5. I too am collecting all the “stuff” required for the characters before I am able to unlock the buildings that drop it. I wish they would just leave them all unlocked and let us determine what we want to purchase and when as part of our game play strategy. This was one of the things I mentioned on your year end post of what we would like to see in the upcoming year.

  6. Tried the double clam offer twice. Got zero clams while in compliance with the offer parameters. Contacted TinyCo who replied with an apology saying that they are not affiliated with the offers. In their game. And that they could not help at all. Very misleading and dishonest giving credence to the phrase “if it seems too good to be true…”.

    Live and learn.

  7. I’m not sure I really need Beast Man .. She-Ra has been amazing with 3 critical hits in a row to the Knights (one of them missed her) and I’m so close to get Boy-At-Arms-Chris now (I just need two more wigs) so he will definitely help in battling …

  8. This is one of those times that I wish you could pick which building to unlock instead of doing them in order. I will have all of the Cringer Dolls for He-Man from the Orko drops long before I get the building. So that means I’ll have to waste time and resources on a building I don’t even need. This is definitely something that needs fixed.

  9. why my game robot knight can regen health

    Like

    • They don’t regain health but it takes more than 1 attack to defeat them usually, also make sure you’re tapping on the same Knight you already damaged and not one you’ve not attacked before

      Like

    • One of the improvements from Tinyco is that now they have the villain to show how much health is left if your first battle did not finish him off. You will see many villains roaming around but just pick the same previous one you did battle with to continue. In the past I have to click on everyone to check which one was the right one.

  10. Argh!! I accidentally put Orko’s Bedroom into inventory when I bought it, and now I cannot find it. Any tricks for quickly finding a building in inventory? The filter for this event isn’t up yet.

    Like

    • Go to Boy-At-Arms, tap the power mace, it will show it drops from Orkos Bedroom, tap this and it should take you to it in your inventory.

      • Awh man, that’s an awesome tip, wish I had read it a hour ago, Lol. Same thing happened to me with the Eternia Salon. I found it after bout 5 mins of scrolling thru the inventory of buildings. Now I’ll know for next time, thanks RT

  11. Anybody having issues with game play? I can play for 1-2 minutes, and then the game just cuts out of goes black; I have to close the app (on iPad) and then re-enter and then lose more time to see what has to be redone from the first attempt. This problem started with this event.

  12. Battling is one reason to purchase Beast Man, IMHO…I did purchase him (I’m all about characters, only purchase costumes every now and then if I really want it, and generally skip decos), but I made the mistake of battling my first Robot Knight with just She-Ra…I forgot I could use both, so as it is, I now have to earn six water elixirs to defeat him where both could have with only three elixirs…he will make it a lot easier to win battles, but again, that’s just my approach…as a wise Bunny used to say (and the wise RT says now), all sales are final…

You’re missing the third step in Pt.1 “Meet the Most Powerful Man in the Universe!” that starts He-Man’s timer. I was hesitating over whether to do it soon or wait until I get some buildings up.

      • I used to delay timers until I felt confident I could complete the tasks needed but then would always get behind and be scrambling to catch up in events. The clam bonus is a great change to the game. Of course I want the clams (who doesn’t?), but I know I am going to get the character (and have to in order to advance) so why not get started right away? And as it is, I haven’t changed my game style (other than that) and haven’t missed on a clam bonus yet.

        • Hope that continues. I agree the clam bonus is a great addition, as is removing character timers

          Liked by 1 person

        • Indeed, yet another great improvement to game play by Tinyco. The bonus clam timer is certainly a big motivation for me to try and unlock in time. If only they would also have clam to reward those who complete the main quest lines.

  14. I jumped the gun last night, Lol. I saw how only Barb Peter and She-ra drop elixirs and thought this week was gonna be mighty hard. So I used 200 clams to buy the Sapphire Phoenix, not realizing that they drop multiple elixirs. Oh well, it’ll definitely move me along a little quicker but I prob wouldn’t have purchased a building if I would’ve waited to find out myself or read it on here. That’ll teach me, Lol.
