i won’t get stewie in time to get the 20 clams (7 deerstalker hats needed with 8 hours to go), but i won’t be far off, so that’s ok. i’m 99% confident i’ll get scottish brute peter’s bonus though. and i bought queen victoria chris when he was 20% off, but have otherwise not spent any clams on this event. so far, i like where i’m at, but we’ll see what next week brings. 🙂

I’m just outraged that they got the name of the Clock Tower / Elizabeth Tower wrong – Big Ben is the bell inside damnit! Also, if the task should say “Bake Biscuits” not “Bake Cookies”, as “cookie” is a synonym with “biscuit” outside the USA (they have their weird savoury scone thing with that name)

To be fair everyone in U.K. calls it Big Ben. There’s been outrage recently as the bongs were silenced for repair work, it’s like the start of the end when those bongs don’t ding dong 😅😅😅

I lived in London for 4 years and people were always corrected if they said “Big Ben”. But maybe Londoners are more protective about it than elsewhere in the UK. I wonder if we’ll have the “The Gherkin” (30 St Mary Axe) in this event? hahaha 🙂

That’s so weird as I’ve never heard any Londoners, apart from tour guides understandably, refer to it as anything but Big Ben, maybe they only correct tourists. Next time I’m down there I’m going test this out for fun.

So far I seem to be doing better at achieving Scottish Brute Peter rather than Stewie Holmes.
Although, we need Holmes to earn the Brute.
Unfortunately, Stewie Holmes has only 3 days to earn 20 clams and Scottish Brute Peter has 8 days to earn 50 clams!
How’s everyone else doing?

That’s interesting. Requirements for Scottish Peter much more stringent. Slowly grinding for Stewie, as I really like Stewie. Should be possible to get its bonus clams. What makes it even better is that it is a new character not just a costume.

i totally agree .. Stewie drops are terrible .. i have 1 violin .. even after placing the Big Ben .. the bats are giving like 1 hat each 5 hits .. on this rate it’s impossible to get Stewie in 3 days
