  1. I bought Cranston several days ago because I thought he dropped items but he doesn’t have any tasks for items. I’m confused! This is a slow game. I’ve been fairly diligent, but think I will barely finish week 3 when the game ends.

  2. There’s no way I’m making it into week 4 (gee, THANKS, TinyCo/Jam City) as this has been a ridiculous event, so I’m glad to see week 4 is just offering a Stewie costume…and I also know in reading this, there is a certain Russian Tigger screaming at her computer screen, “THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS ‘JUST A STEWIE COSTUME’!! She’s kinda Stewie costume connoisseur…

Seriously, I would be more upset with TC/JC if it was a character and not a costume…

Yup, I’m a little Stewie obsessed and not many of his costumers are freemium, so I’m disappointed Many won’t get a shot at this

  5. Do all this for a Stewie Costume? Sigh. No thanks.

But thanks for the recap. It saved me a lot of grinding. Lol.

  6. looks like I’m out on week 4. Don’t have Stewie in my game yet so I can’t work on the costume

    • The costume will go into Al’s and be available once you have him.

No, sometimes if you’ve not got the character you don’t get the option to unlock the costume.

      • While I do have a costume for him Iron Baby. This costume is locked can’t collect anything for it until I have Stewie. Only 9 blueprints away from him but by the time I won’t have time to unlock the costume

    • If I’m remembering correctly from when I started playing a few years ago, I won a Stewie costume from a mystery box. I couldn’t use it until I unlocked Stewie, but I still had the costume.

    • Errr…….because that’s the basis of the entire game? What’s REALLY annoying when they tempt you with an offer “X, Y & Z free when you buy a bin of clams!!” so you do that only to find a week later “ Buy this for $9.99” when you’re sat on 500+ clams you’ve just bought!!

      Like

    • Because they don’t understand “micro transactions”. If you have 1000 people playing the game and charge $9.99 for something, maybe 5 people pay and you have made $50. Charge $0.99 and 500 people pay and you make $500. There are still the 500 people who won’t pay real money to play a mobile game, but your income grows.
There has also been a culture at TC (that doesn’t seem to have gone away with JC buyout) of not allowing players to “burn through the content”, thus the ridiculous algorithms for drop rates which constantly have to be fiddled with. Why should they bother? Players are always going to find something to complain about. Just set everything as an Always drop, increase the number of required items. Find some reasonable number that someone not setting alarms to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure they collect can attain, everyone else can use a few clams to speed things up, or then you sell bundles for small fees. This $10 and up charges is just ridiculous. They will of course point to other games with similar charges and they will not understand that they just don’t get it either.
