Hey there readers, I’d like to welcome you back to reality, where today I’m going to be drawing on your experience of the event that just was, Quahog Con. After 4 weeks of virtual reality, it’s all over but for the poll, and that’s where we will find out if this event was out of this world or hell on Earth.

I completed the event although I missed the clam bonus for David which is pretty rare for me. In the end I just didn’t have enough keys to create the items needed. I agree that the events have been more difficult. The highlight for me was buying Bryan Cranston who I missed the first time since I wasn’t playing yet. I love his voice and the animated tasks! Dislike the trend of actual cash for items especially the clam generating building. I always looked forward to those but will not pay money for it.

Weak event. I spent clams only to speed up a task if it was close to being finished and I was going to bed or was otherwise going to be unavailable for several hours. None of the characters were appealing and I refuse to spend clams on mystery boxes when there are so many crappy items you can “win.” Four weeks was way too long for this event.

ALF was the only character that I was excited about and was so disappointed in not getting. I bought 11 count them 11 mystery boxes and DID NOT GET HIM!!! That is over 1500 clams. They need to bring back the guaranteed top prize after so many or atleast no duplicates of materials that never really even helped me cause I could only make 6 items at a time.

This was my final event. I uninstalled the game after this was over, it just doesn’t appeal to me.
Too many items, not enough room, impossible-to-complete events back-to-back, uninteresting unrelated characters and too many clam grabs.
Back to tapped out!

I didn’t care about this event at all, but I’m actually happy that it was an event with an unappealing theme for me. I went on holidays for two weeks (in the middle of the event), and of course I had little access to the game during that time. So I’m glad I didn’t miss stuff I liked. The He-Man event came around a one-week trip and I missed Skeletor Stewie 😦
I just played a little to take a look at things, and I managed to get Chris’s outfit. I stopped there because I wasn’t interested in the character, but I think I could have done it. Not bad. I agree that it was a tough event, though. Crafting items to ‘attack’ the bosses was hard.

That one was terrible, just no fun at all, I haven’t been that far behind in an event since I started playing 2 and a half years ago,..I’m close to giving up, no, that’s too harsh, I have too many clams to give up, I just don’t care anymore and I hate feeling that way…isn’t this supposed to be fun?

I can’t remember the last time I got as far as week 4 of an event. There always seems to be an item that’s doesn’t drop enough and slows you down. I was glad to see the list of tasks to get currency but the tasks either took too long to complete or involved people that weren’t unlocked yet so I wasn’t even able to get the first grand prize. In previous events the tasks were a lot easier to complete. The word I would use to describe the event is disappointing.

This event was a solid “1” for me. Lack of drops meant I was ten days late starting week 3, and didn’t come close enough to unlocking Cardboard Chris. Shame on you, TinyCo.
