A Look In The Rear: TV Guide Week 2

Hey there!

Let’s flip through the pages of the second week the TV Guide for the A Look In The Rear Event, it will let you take a peak at what tasks you will encounter along the way.

TV GUIDE TASKS

These are basically your “Side Questlines” for the Event. The main thing is unlike Side Questlines from other Events, these are actually VERY important to complete as soon as you can so you may earn as many payouts as they are providing. These payouts in return help you unlock critical items for your Event  progress…

HOW CAN I FIND THE TV GUIDE TASKS?

You can get to the current TV Guide Screen by tapping on the Icon in the lower right corner of the game screen. You can access it in normal Quahog or 1950’s & 1960’s Quahog.

This will in turn take you to a Pop Up Screen showing all the current available Tasks you have unlocked and/or completed so far.

Now we’re in Week 2 don’t forget you can still work on Week 1 Achievements.

WHAT ARE ALL THE TV GUIDE TASKS?

These are the lists of Names & Part #’s for the TV Guide I’ve seen so far. Also listed is the is the reward you will get when you CLAIM the completed task. But please note this post is a work in progress, I’ll add the new tasks as I trigger them in my game.

Yours will vary, mainly because it is just trying to get the drops you need AND to complete 58 tasks. So if you keep moving forward on one you will possibly see MORE on that particular Task Name then I have shown below. So basically what you see will depend on your progress and the characters you buy or unlock. In other words, there may be MORE than 58 Task options available. It will vary by Player’s game progression and Task use on what YOU complete and see come up next.

Remember: You will only see a small amount of Tasks at a time and you will NOT see more until you complete ones there already and/or progress in the Main Questline, giving you access to the item/area you need to complete the Tasks.

Here is the list of what I currently see in my game but remember when you clear one or progress through the event, another will appear until at least 58 show up and are completed. But they will only show up if you claim your completed tasks, please remember to do that.

Addicts Tip: Please be vigilant when clearing tasks, buying items etc  that you claim your Tasks in order to trigger the next one. Basically whenever you do anything check to see if you’ve any rewards to claim. And remember they could be in Week 1’s tasks.

Remember this post is a work in progress so keep checking back!!!

WHAT DO I GET FOR COMPLETING ALL THESE TASKS?

There’s a Grand Prize showing up that you can try to earn by completing 49 of the Tasks. Here’s the Grand Prize.

Woodstock Tent: At the end of Completing at least 58 Tasks you will see the COMPLETE Button turn into a CLAIM Button under the decoration in the TV Guide Task Screen.

There you have it. The overall basics of the second week of the TV Guide for this event. What do you think so far? Are there Tasks you find yourself focusing on more than others? Any favorites? Suggestions to fellow Players? Let us know.

  2. I’m stuck in week one with no tasks to do. How do I advance to week two?

  3. Ok, so I finally got the circle to move, took me a few tries but I finally got it! Yay!

  4. I’m on iPad ios, and I’m still having the same problem, the circle won’t move away from the trees and it won’t let me build any road up that far. I got a message from tinyco but they didn’t understand the problem so I sent them another message.

  5. I tried to do what was suggested about moving the whole area to get the circle to be “forced” down on a mod but it doesn’t seem to be working for me, I tried to move it but it just seems to stay in the trees.

    • I’ve reported it again, can you tell me what platform you play on?

    • I find that zooming all the way in so that your road (or mods) are in the top left corner of the screen (where the green target circle shows up) works best. That brings the mods to the circle. Once a mod is lit up purple, fire away.

    • yeah, last time I could no longer move it by moving the play area to force it down. But I find I can eventually click on it and drag it around – sometimes right away or sometimes I have to press the X, close it and reopen once or more and/or click on it many times before I can move the green circle

      • I’m getting a delay in it appearing now but then things are ok. Lynnchee has been doing this, might help. “I find that zooming all the way in so that your road (or mods) are in the top left corner of the screen (where the green target circle shows up) works best. That brings the mods to the circle. Once a mod is lit up purple, fire away”.

  6. I am having the same problem, won’t let me clear mods, I messaged tinyco about it but haven’t got a response yet. Hope it’s fixed soon.

  7. I think there is a bug with clearing mods. Had a task to clear one. I cleared two and got nothing for them nor did my task clear.

    • please message TinyCo if trying all the usual game fixes hasn’t worked.

    • I thought I was not getting credit, too, then I realized I was not clearing them at all. First you click on a mod, then on the records, but you clear them with the old green circle that turns them purple, then click on the check mark. I initially did not see the green circle (oval) because it was way up in the left top corner of the screen – instead of appearing anywhere near a mod. I had to move 60s Quahog around until I could get the green oval down to where the mods are (android). Love the shout out to Quadrophenia that I am sure almost no one gets.

      • Thanks Derek. I have seen Quadrophenia, although it was a bit before my time, lol. I enjoyed it but saw it billed with another film, Jubilee, I liked that more.

        • Love the Who, but admit I never cared fro Quadrophenia – it’s sure no Tommy (Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve played the silver ball.
From Soho down to Brighton. I must have played them all. .(song has a great intro!)). Have a great weekend, Tig

  8. Anyone else having trouble clearing the Vespa guys? When I click on the record, it puts the purple circle in the bushes and it is unmovable.

    Like

    • Yes it’s an ongoing issue. Another player suggest this to help “If you click in the middle of 60s Quahog and move the whole area upwards, the circle will come down – be forced down. Hard to describe, hope that makes sense. You, know, the way you can move the play area around to look at different areas of it”. (Comment by Derek)
