You can see the countdown timer for the event and other details by clicking on the Event Info Icon at the bottom of your screen.

ADDICTS ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION

Remember you can only place buildings etc in the event area Time they belong in, ie 50’s, 60’s

Just one freemium character to unlock this week.

The TV Guide Week 1 Achievements can still be completed, in fact I recommend it even if you don’t want the prize, as you can exchange Bread for Scratch.

As mentioned above, in 1960’s Quahog you  can exchange Bread for Scratch.

The Swinging 60’s Mystery Box was a painful one for me, see that section below for my unbelievable bad luck on it.

CURRENT APP VERSION

Version 1.76.0

NOTICEABLE CHANGES

New 1960’s time to travel to.

GLITCHES & ISSUES

I’m not personally experiencing any apart from having 2 of 50’s Lois and 50’s Peter, however after using the task icon to put one of each on task I’ve simply sent the doppelgänger to Tan Lines for now. Not impacting play as yet.

Still seeing complaints of being unable to place buildings in the event areas, please ensure you’re in the right time era and go to your inventory not store. If this doesn’t work you need contact TinyCo.

Clam TV isn’t working.

Ray Guns disappearing when crafting.

If you are having any other issues let me know in the comments.

EVENT AREA IN QUAHOG

There is still just 1 item up in the usual event area and it’s the fantastic transporting device, The Cursed TV.  This will allow you to travel back to yesterday years, starting last week with 1950’s Quahog and this week 1960’s Quahog. Just tap on it to see the  Cursed TV decades you can be transported back to.

Be aware most things you need to do this week will be done in 1960’s Quahog not in your standard Quahog. This includes some items in the store only showing up when you’re in 1960’s Quahog. But don’t neglect your duties back in 1950’s Quahog as you still want to get your hands on Bread to trade.

1960’s QUAHOG

By tapping on the Cursed TV in the event area or tapping the TV icon in the lower right corner of your game screen you can “travel” back in time to the 1960’s event area, here’s where you’ll earn stuff  and acquire items to further help you along in the event.

.

As the game progresses, more past decades will unlock for you to travel back to. But for now the latest decade you will see will be 1960’s Quahog.

To go to 1960’s Quahog, just select it from the Cursed TV screen, then tap “Let’s Go” and you will now be taken to an alternate play area. (And remember to return to your bog standard Quahog or go to 1950’s Quahog you just use the Cursed TV again, only selecting whichever of them as your destination).

You will notice a hammer to “repair” in 1960’s Quahog as you progress. This is for the character 1960’s Meg. She isn’t timed so don’t worry about repairing her. Once repaired you can start collecting items to unlock her.

As well as this you’ll all the usual event content such as buildings and baddies to defeat. And I’ll be breaking all this down below.

POP’S APPLIANCES

CLAMMY DINER

This will be you’ll trade your items, it’s essentially a “Crafting” area where you will combine materials to make the Records you need to clear the Mods on Mopeds.

 Record

Needed to craft: 2 Half Dollars

Time to manufacture: 2hrs 15mins

You can be crafting up to 6 items in the Products Queue at a time. If the queue is full you will have to wait until one finishes before adding more into the Queue.

Basically all you need to do is collect the necessary materials and then select the item you want to manufacture. Once you start manufacturing you’ll see items preparing in the section on the right. The clam cost to speed them up is also shown there.

And here’s a reminder of where you’ll get the materials you need for crafting:

Half Dollars (Always) –  Get from clearing Hippies, 1960’s Turtle Car, Swinging 60’s Mystery Box

Records (Always): Get from Crafting in the Clammy Diner

HIPPIES

You will trigger them and learn about them at Part 3 of the main Questline.  You will find them wandering in 60’s Quahog and you will need to use a Character to clear them.

Tap on a 60’s as Sci-Fi Monster wandering around to bring up the screen showing the item and character/s needed, basically you need 1 Incense and either Bruce, 60’s Meg or 60’s  Brian.

Simply tap on SELECT to choose the Character.

Characters Used:
Bruce
60’s Meg
60’s Brian

Task Time: Instant

Chance Payout:
5 Half Dollars (Always)

And here’s a reminder where you can get Incense.

Incense (Common) –  Get from Bruce Freshen Up The Room, 60’s Brian Light It Up, 60’s Meg Mask Her Scent, Swinging 60’s Mystery Box

MODS ON MOPEDS

These are the other baddies in this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get some Records, you’ll get them here:

Records (Always): Get from Crafting in the Clammy Diner

Once you have a Record you will find Mods on Mopeds driving on your 1960’s sidewalks.

Simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen.

Then move the Record until the green target circle is on a Mods on Moped, you’ll know it’s in target as it will turn purple, then simply hit the check mark to clear the Mods on Moped.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 8 in my game.

The event rewards for clearing Mods on Mopeds are as follows:

Per Mods on Mopeds Cleared
1 Scratch (Always)
1 Lonely Hearts Card (Chance)
1 Fake Medal (Always)

TV GUIDE WEEK 2

You’ll find a full and more detailed post on up on the site soon!!!

Think of this as a “CHECK LIST” of items that will help you gather resources for the Event.

You can get to the current TV Guide Screen by tapping on the Icon in the lower right corner of the game screen. You get to last weeks Guide by tapping the Green Arrow when you’re in the Week 2 Guide, it’s at the top left.

Once you complete a task you will see CLAIM appear  above the icon.

You must  be mindful of this and tap on the “CLAIM” button next to an order to gain your reward. As I say be vigilant on collecting rewards in order you trigger the subsequent task.

To go quickly to location of a task you need to complete, tap on the “GO” icon next to it.

Here is the list of what I currently see in my game for this Weeks TV Guide  (as you clear one or progress through the event, another will appear)…

Make Love, Not War

Groove Machine

Put Your Records On

MODern Warfare

Activist Action

Concrete Foundation

Sci-Fi Shenanigans

GRAND PRIZE: If you complete 58 Achievement Tasks, you can also unlock a Woodstock Tent

There you have the overall basics to get you started through the second Week of the New Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. Sorry for your loss on getting 60’s Brian. That is absolutely absurd. Thanks for posting that.

  2. Which building does Bruce do his incense task in? I sent him 10 hours ago but he’s not turned up again. Is he stuck in 1960s which I haven’t unlocked yet? The find me feature doesn’t find him. Thanks.

  3. Wow, I really hope that TinyCo gave you 5245 clams. If nothing else, you’re off to a good start with all those materials…

    • Unfortunately the materials aren’t as big Boost as I’d hoped due to the slow spawn of Hippies and the time to craft Records. In other events the materials can be a help but not so much here, especially all those baseballs from Week 1. But yes those Clams are covered by TinyCo, but it still irks me.

  4. I just checked and still no week 2 yet for me. All I have is a side quest for 1950s Lois.

  8. Where EXACTLY should you be trading Bread for Scratch? I had over 300 Bread saved up for Week 2, have not traded ANY of it, and see no options ANYWHERE to trade it. I earned the Scratch for 60s Griffin house the hard way… There is no option to trade Bread for Scratch showing in the 50s or 60s shop, the game menu, nowhere.

When I earn more Bread, and tap the upper right corner, it just links me to the 50s shop with the items showing as craftable, but when you click them, nothing happens.

    Please help?

    • When in 1960’s Quahog I tap the shopping cart and they option to trade is there, for me it’s between the QPlex and Turtle Car premium items

      • Thankfully because of Russian Tigger’s generosity and unselfishness for keeping this site alive, I found this option exactly where she said it would be in the overview and happily traded up my bread for scratch and got a huge jump on Week Two. I thought it was gone and lost forever. Thank you RT!

  9. Is it just me but I’ve noticed getting two 50’ Lois. And one shows up on 50s TV only and the other one under current time. They’re both doing baseball at different time.

  10. How do you get week 2 to start? I finished week 1 and the only quest line I have is 1950’s Lois’s side quests. 1960’s area still is locked for me.
