This event is broken. 70s Joe (as well as two achievements and the main quest line) is only waiting for the 70s Drunken Clam to be unlocked, and I only have 70/200 tokens. 200 tokens!
There’s no chance of me starting week 4 before this sorry escapade ends for good.

i have played this game since day 1 and i have to say this is the most frustrating event ever purely based on glitches and the lack or response or simply not caring by in game support. I must have tried 20+ times to send Bonnie on her 5 hour task and every single time i came back later on she was just wandering around town, no longer on her set activity. i messaged in game and instead of saying thanks we will look into it they blamed it on me saying maybe i closed the game too quickly after putting it on task which was not the case. i wrote back again and they just simply don’t care or listen to player feedback. it has always been this way but for an event to have so may glitches and the creators to not even care just turned me off. not only did i quit the event but i may just delete this game as well. it’s becoming more of a chore and frustrating vs a fun way to kill the time.

The task auto completes, so if it was after 5hrs you came back in the game she would be wandering. You’ll know if this the case by checking if you’ve collected any Platform Shoes to unlock 70’s Joe

hey i didn’t collect anything ever from Bonnie each time so definitely is a glitch and i’m on the most up to date version of the game

If you didn’t buy Pimp Giant Chicken then if the task for Bonnie hasn’t been working you should have 0 Platfors Shoes for 70’s Joe – take screenshot of that and send to TinyCo support. Only they can check it I’m afraid.

Clam TV is back but is only giving out 5 clams daily instead of 7 as before ..
also to reply to some of the posts here : I did win the JackPot from the Wheel , once , the prize was the Coffee Shop *worth 50 clams I think* .. so it’s possible , just don’t get your hopes up on getting the Black Knight or something really valuable …

“Rigged” may not be the most accurate term, but what everyone needs to realize is that the odds of winning are NOT equal to the number of spokes in the wheel… Technically, you always win, which is much better odds than at a casino, but it would be like winning a few pennies. And if you are only playing the free spins, it costs you nothing to win, you just don’t win anything you care about, most of the time. 🙂
If it really bugs you, put the wheel at the bottom of your town, and ignore it. I, however, spin it every day, and just accept what it gives me. I almost never pay the 2 Clams, unless I really want that particular Jackpot, but now that I see Bluebottle’s results, I probably will stop even that. (I just know, if I ever do win, I will probably get the darn Coffee Shop: Like I need another building! :-)) I think I won 10 Clams once, and 3 Clams a few times, and the rest don’t matter… But spinning is part of the game.
On the plus side, I got 2 Clams from Clam TV Videos yesterday, before it seemed to lock up and not open again. Also got 2 from Demos, instead of the usual 1. So hopefully I can start building up my Clam reserves again soon!

Further to the above, I was just able to watch multiple videos and receive Clams, for the first time in weeks. (OK, technically, I watched the same video, multiple times… :-)) It only let me watch 5, but that is far better than nothing. On a side-note, I was offered the choice to Play Demos, too, when I first opened Clam TV, but that disappeared when I watched the videos, so it looks like you may only get one or the other… Still better than what has been happening for weeks. Hope this is a sign of progress!

My clam tv disappeared today. Hasn’t had watch ads for clams in weeks but at least I could still play game demos for clams. Now poof. Gone.

I really wish the get clams for watching ads was working. No way that i’m going to spend really $ to buy characters, but i’m more than willing to watch ad’s while I’m not busy.

Mine started working again Sunday.. however you can’t do demos and ads it’s one or the other and instead of a max of 7 it’s only 5. Have you done the latest update from a couple days ago? They started working after I did it.

I can’t believe that since the ‘wheel of fortune’ appeared in Quahog, I have yet to win the grand prize. Its gotta be rigged!

Yes, it’s WTD lame. Not only is the “jackpot” severely weighted in the House’s favor, the other prizes are pointless. Even for someone just starting the game, 500 or fewer coins or 3 or 10 clams is worthless. After years of playing I’m over $30m well on the way to 40… That currency has hardly been necessary/used for a long time. Thanks for the 100 coins though! 😛

I’ve actually won 3-10 clams a bunch of times and the jackpot once. That’s where I got Human Rupert. I do however agree that it can be a bit hokey. Often it looks like it’s going to stop on something worthwhile and it jumps to another meaningless prize.

I won a Pegasus decoration before. I’ve also won some clams. All of the prizes are terrible anyway, so I’ve stopped bothering with it.

I tried to get Consuela when she appeared as the jackpot prize when it first appeared. 300 spins (600 clams) later and I still hadn’t won the jackpot!!!! I sent a message to tiny co to complain and a month later they replied to say that the odds for winning are set at what they feel is reasonable. Spent the next month saving my clams up to buy her the old school way. Anyone else spent 900 clams to get her? I bet I treasure her more than most!

I finished everything in the 50’s quests (all 49 out of 49) – but I don’t see my prize anywhere? (the mr. met bobble head thingy)

You can only place it in 50’s Quahog, go there then check your inventory

Actually I also can’t claim the 50’s prize. Just got the 60’s one one but a claim button doesn’t even show up for the 50’s prize which was done like a week ago.

I attempted to search through my inventory but with a couple years of event buildings and decos its near impossible to spot until the event tab for this one is added in lol. I didn’t see it anywhere though when I tried to scour through it.

It should show up in the decade it belongs, your inventory there should be smaller as it will only have things that can be placed in that time. You won’t see it in your main Quahog inventory as it can’t be placed there.
