All In The Family Guy Parade Balloon Mini-Game

Just wanted to Float in with some information on bursting  some parade Balloons in  the All In The Family Guy event.

ADDICTS INFORMATION

Please be aware you need 2 BB Guns to play the game!!!

Youll get 2 BB Guns when you complete Part 5 of Spermbanksgiving.

You need to hit the Head area of the Balloon, so to hit multiple Balloons with one  shot look for Balloon heads overlapping each other and target there.

With the new event we are seeing the return of an old style mini-game and in order to be able to participate you’ll need to collect 2 BB Guns, you’ll get them here:

2 BB Guns (Common): Get from Katie Do Target Practice

Once you have 2 BB Guns just tap on the Gun Icon in the bottom right of your screen.

After tapping on this, the Parade Balloon  mini game will appear.

You will see on the top of the screen the Rewards you have won from clearing Parade Balloons. The amount of BB Guns  you have available in the Lower Left. The Shoot button in the Lower Right. (If you’ve no BB Guns it will show Need More) Then in the center, you will see the circle that is essentially your target that you will use to get the Parade Balloons

***Please note the Hair Dye will only show once you place Tasheka for unlocking***

This is really an “Aim n Shoot” kind of set up. You wait for a minute while the Balloons float around, then move the circle to target them. It should turn green when you are close to the head area of a balloon

But the secret of this mini-game is to try target more than 1 Balloon, so be patient and wait until you see a group of Balloons heads together then target them and quickly hit SHOOT. It’s harder than it looks, but I’ve managed to hit 3 Balloons at once.

You will then be given Rewards depending on how many Balloons you popped with your BB gun.

The rewards you get will vary on how many Balloons you Pop at a time.

Per Balloon burst:
6 Sperm Samples (Always)
1 Hair Dye (Chance) – Please note the Hair Dye will only show once you place Tasheka for unlocking.

There you have the overall basics to get you started through the Parade Balloon mini-game. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. Jam City Support, event FAQ: “How do I pop Parade Balloons?
Aim for the middle of the balloon and wait for the circle to turn green for the best chance to win!”

  2. From my last two balloon pops, I shot at the balloons near the top of the screen and got 3 balloon pops each time. Every shot I made before, I did near the middle of the screen and got either one pop or none at all. Not sure if this would work every time but it’s worked for me 2 times in a row so it’s worth a try.

  3. Another disappointing event. Match up 5 balloons in the green circle, shoot and it says “0” hit. TinyCo you have become ridiculously ridiculous. The event uses 3 regular characters; so once again I’m reminded of the other 150 characters NEVER used. … 2 Bebe’s for one shot, one character to get 1 bebe every 4 hours. 10 cash needed to open the mystery prize box once and hope it’s something useful. … At this rate might get enough items by New Years. … Support is JUST A TITLE because by the time they answer the event is over and if you wanted to progress at all you definitely spent a lot of clams. “Standard” support response is “Sorry for the delay, let us know if you are still having an issue.” …… They no longer read nor respond to the actual issue you reported nor COMPENSATE the customer in any way. … I can’t remember the last time new land opened or I didn’t have to log into and out of the game 3 times just to keep it somewhat stable, not crashing or locking up so badly it hijacks my device and wipes out the home screen image. That’s way WAY TOO MUCH CONTROL of my device. Your server needs A LOT of work, a serious upgrade, you need some courses in optimization. … It’s truly sad because I used to be a loyal player, dedicated to doing my part, buying clams like many others and holding out hope that the hands of TinyCo Development and Support would go back to fixing issues before the event ends, compensating the players, actually provide support and begin using all those other characters everyone has played or payed so hard to get. Over the past year it’s really gone to crap and I’m left realizing there’s nothing left in the game worth doing except blowing up Quahog, Ha! … My son tells me all the time to check out the Simpsons. He stopped playing FGQFS a long time ago. I thought I was showing him patience and hope. Turns out I was showing him a “Game APP Greek Tragedy.” … I’ll always try to remember the good times when the game was great, … events were great,… support was great because I have no hope that TinyCo is ever gonna make it great again. I’m officially DONE, totally over it. It’s painfully obvious they have no regard for players nor feedback but they sure want you to buy clams constantly. Best of luck to all the players who remain addicted. I once was too until I realized there’s nothing left in the game worth being addicted to. It’s truly like a zombie game now, same few characters, same long action times, same unrealistic time frames, same money grabbing themes. But who knows maybe one day someone at TinyCo will play it for awhile, try to get support and realize they keep shelling out money to get characters never used, no advantage to having them. I guess we were supposed to think it’s just nice to look at them??? If you ever do, maybe at the hotel when you’re super bored.

  4. I’ve yet to score anything other than 0 or 1 balloons despite the screen appearing to be full of them. Seems this carnival shooting gallery does not play fair. Impossible game is impossible.

  5. Here’s the strategy I’m using. The lower right cheek (my left as I’m looking down at it but the right cheek of the balloon animal/clown) of each balloon, close to the neck, seems to be a target area. I recommend taking a moment and dragging the target circle around the screen to each type of balloon to see how limited the target area is. For instance, on the bear, the center dot has to stay to the left (my left) of his nose. I look for a balloon that is barely moving, better yet 2 balloons barely moving with overlapping right cheeks (my left) then wait for 1 or 2 other balloons to drift over my near-stationary targets so that their cheek areas overlap, then fire. I’ve gotten 2-3-4 balloons this way. Watch the target circle to make sure it stays green while you’re waiting for other balloons to line up.

  6. Horrible mini game. Katie drops maybe 1 gun every 4 hours so minimum of 8 hours. I’ve shoot balloons several times and got 0 even though balloons pop and disappear. I have 2 out of 6 balloons so 4 more to get before I can continue on. Epic fail.

  7. still havent started week 2 bcz i didnt hit 6 balloons yet (and katie doesnt drop guns every time) i still need 2 guns for the last balloon so thats another 8 hrs at least

  8. Anyone else think 26 hair dyes is mathematically impossible with only Katie dropping the guns?

  9. At least you guys are getting Guns to be able to play this mini game.
I’ve had had Katie drop 1 Gun in 7 collections over the past 2 days. Doesn’t seem much like a ‘common’ drop item!!

  10. I actually just got a zero given to me.
I’m usually really good at hitting multiple targets, so this one is just silly hard.

    • I find aiming at the head and having Evil Monkey as my main target seems to get me more hits, but not sure if that’s just coincidence

  11. Twice I’ve hit 0 balloons!!

I don’t see how. They aim reticule was green and a few disappeared when I fired. Yet, it still said 0

Is there certain balloons I should be aiming for?

  12. This sucks!!! Why make it so hard to even hit one balloon

  13. I’ve had her drop just one gun on two occasions (as well as dropping nothing). This does not help at all considering how terrible the balloon mini game seems to be.

Then, the two times I played the balloon game, I only got 1 balloon each time. On top of that I got zero hair dye!!

  14. I shot right in the middle of a pack and hit nothing! How is that possible? Next time I only hit one. Not liking this event so far.

  15. The aiming circle turns green when you have a shot. It is orange when you don’t have one. I just shot a balloon in the head and it said zero balloons hit. I noticed the aiming circle changes colors as the balloons floated by. It looks like you need to shoot at the balloon’s body, not head. I’ll confirm this once I’ve gotten another 2 guns in 12 hours.

  16. I waited for them to line up and literally tapped on Brian’s face and it said I hit 0. There’s clearly something wrong.

I agree we’ve seen this mini game many times before but not like this. The balloons are so ridiculously big that you can’t tell where they are or what you’re going to hit.

But it should be near impossible to get 0.

  17. I’ve only gotten two each the times I’ve played. Not sure how they are coded. The balloons are so big, there are multiple balloons behind each one, but they don’t appear to count. It looks like the game only registers balloons on the surface level, and because they are so big and colorful, and have non-counting balloons behind them, it’s hard to tell when they overlap. This, plus requiring two gun for each shot, makes this the most difficult of the shooting mini-games so far IMHO.

    • You’re doing better than many hitting 2 each time

      • Unfortunately, seemed to just be a fluke. Subsequent times, I’ve only gotten one balloon. Not sure what I’m doing different. Just can’t figure out what they want you to aim at in this game. I’ve had part of two or three balloons under a green circle, and still have only gotten one.

  18. I’m waiting so that 3-4 balloons stack on top of each other but still it is telling me only 1 balloon has been hit!

Has anyone else managed to pop more than 1 cause I’ve tried it several times and it always tells me 1 only has been hit?

Have TC/JC made it even harder than usual this time or what?!?

I cannot understand the logic of TC/JC’s designers/programmers behind all this – why piss off players more and more when events are getting duller and duller as the months pass?!? Don’t they presume that their player base will eventually get smaller and smaller which will amount to less profits overall? Bleh, I’ve been asking this questions for months and yet nothing is remedied towards all this…

    • I’ve hit 3 once and 2 couple times, but it’s really hit or miss with this one, we’ve seen similar difficulty in a mini-game before, so think it’s just repeated coding from that.

    • Yeah. Twice it said I got 2 when i clearly had 3-4 lined up. BUT, just now, I had 3 or 4 lined up at it said I got 0, yes, zero!!!! Now gotta wait 8 darn hours t try again (arrgghh). I clearly had at least one with the circle smack dab on a clown’s head. Something funny here! Are we sure all the kinds of balloons count?

      • Oh man! In my years of playing I have only sent $4.99 on the game but today I decided to buy Mob Bonnie and 6 BB guns. When I try to make the purchase in facebook or on Android, I get an error message and the game crashes. Quite the game we got here,eh?

    • My theory, they don’t even consider us addicts, us long term players. When these mobile apps were being spun up, no one would have predicted we’d still be trying to play this. They know they have a devoted fan base and can probably count on new players for a few years, but they were supposed to grow tired of it quickly and move onto the next big thing. This formulaic event development meant they could keep a couple artists and writers on staff and a couple bug fixers and just keep reaping money from the new players who started out playing free and maybe fall for a few clam buys or more, then have their attention taken by the next shiny thing and move on. They truly do not care about the long term players. There is no way they can totally rewrite the game at this point without a massive undertaking and realistically why would they? Most of us are freemium players, not making them any real money other than the fractions of money per ad which, while it may add up is likely not enough to sustain the staff required to keep it up. Those who purchase clams tend to get thru the events, and while I can’t justify the expenditures any longer, I know I paid for a few lunches and dinners in my serious addiction phase. Now, it’s just that, a pure addicts habit, I just keep going back thinking something is going to be fabulous and new. I’ve threatened to quit and delete it, and actually have for a few days a couple times but I still come back, looking for that fix…
