About 10 minutes before the Jacob Marley Quagmire timer was about to expire, I checked how much mulled wine I had and I still needed about 260 to unlock him. I clicked on the timer and it had a check mark even though I didn’t have enough! I was so excited. It didn’t charge me any clams or anything. It just gave him to me in exchange for however much wine I did have.

i notice on facebook that the mulled wine counter is not always accurate

Yes, I had a similar experience. I wasn’t planning on unlocking JMQ until I finished the quest line and acquired all the buildings. I was only short a few mulled wine so I finally unlocked him. To my surprise both items were checked and when I clicked on the mulled wine it asked if I meant to use 765 mulled wine.

I’m still in Part 5 as I’ve held off buying the last 3 buildings in order to get JM Quagmire in time. I unlocked him 5 minutes ago, with 10 hours to spare

In a dilemma, I have 505 wine so could unlock Scrooge Peter as it’s the only thing I need… also only need the wine for quagmire with 1 day and 17 minutes on the timer… leaning towards focusing on the latter then coming back for Peter afterwards due to the timer but welcome thoughts…

It will delay your main Questline, that’s only downside but if you really like the Jacob character, probably an acceptable trade off

Hi RT – looks like it’s ‘Poll Closed’ for the 2nd (Peter) and 3rd (Quagmire) questions, so we are unable to vote on those.
