WTD?? I have purchased both the fountains prior to 5 years strong, part 7. Now I have to purchase them again to continue main quest! Is this a known issue / bug? Please advise.

The Part 7 fountains although looking exact same have different name, they are Prop fountains, hence you need buy those. But you don’t need buy them, no reward for completing the Questline

Some of these rare items I found myself receiving consistently. The “uncommon” sparkles, however, have come along as infrequently as the extremely rare items. I still need three sparkles left to unlock Ms. Peacock with only 2 & 1/2 days left in the damn event. Otherwise, I had all of the other Week 2 requirements fulfilled two days ago. But thanks to the worse-than-lousy drop rates on the sparkles, I’ll have virtually no time for Week 3. I have no idea how they determine what’s “common,” “uncommon,” “rare,” etc., because the rates are never as we’re told they will be.

To further illustrate my point about how these items are mislabeled, I’m finally in Week 3, and so far, Lois and Herbert have dropped the supposedly “rare” leaves EVERY time…Stupid.

WTD? I’ve sent Col. Mustard four times in a row to the Study Lounge to get hatted suspects. Every time it shows “high” for hatted suspects and “low” for eyepatch suspects, and every single time the drop has been the eyepatch suspects. I only need a single hatted suspect for the last building, but now I have over a dozen eyepatch suspects running around my streets.
What’s the point of the high/medium/low probability graphics in the room if they are completely wrong? Very frustrated!

After my good luck all this time, I was finally hit by one of those random login errors I keep reading about. Mine was about not being able to load event when event was present or some such nonsense. They managed to get it fixed in a day, so I missed 24 hours of play. Hopefully, I can catch up.

She might be of use in the next event. There was a special symbol next to her. I remember that when Cleveland Jr was made available in store recently he also had a symbol and was used on the following event.
I got her all the same. 100 clams for a show character sounds good to me. 🙂

Just got Colonel Mustard this morning. I’m finding these events increasingly frustrating. Cleared most of the required objects a while ago but just couldn’t get the mustard/ketchup bottles. The combination of character to be interrogated only awake part of day with a too tough chance setting for all possible routes has meant getting just 6 has taken nearly the whole event time. No point in getting interested in the later weeks tasks. It’s too late. I visit the game twice a day but now don’t expect to get far with many events due to these too tough settings.

You’ll definitely struggle only playing twice a day – it is a game that demands frequent attention

OK, I take your point about frequency of visits, but I have a real life to attend to.

We all do Geoff, just some of us have jobs or free time that let us check in more often, and others like me are chronic insomniacs who can reset tasks over night as well as during the day. Or some just give the game priority over other things, not something I’d suggest. At end of the day it’s a game, and that’s all. Play the way suits you, but with tight schedule and little free time or online access this probably isn’t the game to get very far, as you’re finding out.

RT, I am always concerned when you mention insomnia. First, surprised you have not found a way to beat it yet. Also, cannot help but think that the game makes it worse, knowing in the back of your mind that you want to check in.

No, I used to do lot online, including writing the blogs, whilst couldn’t sleep but banned all that, now I reset tasks if/when I want to, I don’t have a clock that’s set to do so. I check in enough during day to do fine way events are set out now but overnight playing certainly helped me in years gone past. To be honest my dad and my young brother are the same, so it’s a family trait, insomnia that is not playing FGQFS 😅😅😅😅

I check in 4 or 5 times a day and takes a total of about 10 minutes of play time a day if you do other things while it is loading. I find time and I am a senior government official in national security! If you take RTs point, don’t blame the game

Yup, twice a day won’t make it, game appears set up for about 4 checkins a day.

Honestly, all of the events this year have been quite easy and undemanding. If you want to keep up you need to check in every 4 hours or so, so that’s 5 times per day (allowing 8 hours for sleep).

My game is stuck in a strange mission called “geek squad”. Last week missions have disappeared and when I click “help and support ‘ my game crashes. I’ve fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the problem persists. Even I’ve installed the game in another device, but when I import my profile, that damn mission reappears and I’m stuck again. How can I contact Tinyco if my game crashes when I click on help and support? I’ve been playing for a year, but now it seems I’m stuck for good
Thanks in advance

My experience is getting the eyepatches is the major hang up. With only two characters dropping, and them being uncommon, you’re lucky to get one eyepatch every cycle. You need them to get the bow ties to buy the buildings, but it takes a while to get the dozen or so you need to buy a building. The last building dropping eyepatches seems almost a waste because you need to have already gotten a ton of eyepatches to get to where you can buy it.
