Yes with event halfway over I thought it was time for the Where Are You Now Poll.

Kind of a meh event for me since I already had all of the characters, so the only mystery box drop was the clams and finished the questline on Monday morning. Seemed good for others to get characters they didn’t have, though. Very disappointed no Gold Suit Meg or Chris! Put me off any desire for getting GS Stewie or Brian (even if the price hadn’t been so unreasonable), since I’d want the whole family, not at most four our of six. Also disappointed that basically you had to buy the fountains twice (one was a building for drop, other was a “prop”, but look identical). That just seems lazy to not have to make two different decorations. Finally, price for GS Brian was totally unreasonably. Seemed more like a 5th Anniversary cash grab than a real event to reward the fans.

lack luster event finished all got all in mystery box wish had been longer event and another way to get brian i have given up on spending cash on this game cause of all the issues and clam shack not opening any thing i get now i earn it

one more pair of pants, not sure if i’ll get them in time to complete GSP, if I get, then who–hoo, if I don’t then MEH, whatever, just go on to other things. Don’t have brian or stewie yet, when I get to 10K can get Brian (prob in a week I think)

This game is the worst, cash grab cash grab. This 5 year celebration is my retirement. After 5 years I’ve had enough. Over $100 to get Brian? No thank you, piggies. They will feel the hit too as in the past I was considered a whale (big spender).
Am I the only one who feels this way?

I would preferred a 2 week even and to have seen Golden Suit Brian available for Clams in Week 2, with Meg & Chris freemium. But nit how it was set up. But I also feel it’s players right to say I’m not buying that, at that price, or to buy it if it’s worth it to them. For many this took the shine off what is a pretty big milestone for a game like this. But there’s every chance Golden Suit Brian will return to get another time.

I found it easy to pass up gold brian. Just like I never buy any of the other premium characters. I do, however apprecisting the game providing ways for other players to spend money and support players who never spend like me.
Was nice to get so many characters out of tan lines and be useful for a change.

This event is great for a player like me who started playing less than 5 years ago and had a lot of available items in the mystery box. I won’t be spending hats on the last two fountains to finish the event, but will keep using them on the mystery box!! I’ve scored Consuela, God, Death and the giant new year Dragon!! I thought it was a decoration and was surprised to see it was a full character! I’m having a blast!

Nothing left for me to buy in the Mystery Box, and I already have Gold Suit Lois, Peter and Stewie. Now I’ve got a gajillion Gold Hats and nothing to buy with them! I’m NOT going to buy another $100 worth of clams to get Brian. That’s stupid.

You can buy extra fountains, but that’s it. Also, you CAN do the mystery box more than once – I did it box 4 times and got 1 costume, 2 characters, and 50 clams. Maybe you already had the available costume/characters?

Me too, I have now over 350 hats and nothing to do with them. I’ve unlocked Gold Suit Peter and Gold Suit Lois, I already had everything in the Mystery Box, so I only got the 50 clams. Why won’t TinyCo let us buy old characters with the hats? I have all the anniversary fountains I need…
This morning they had a 20% off Sasquatch and 40% off Petra sale, but those could only be purchased with clams. I got them both but they still cost me about 400 clams. I only spend clams to characters, not to character costumes, so I don’t care about Biker Brian etc. what Al Harrington has to offer.

you can use the big 5 mystery box more than once
i already got manbun peter, captain qauhog, death, pilot quaqmire, consuela and 50 clams…. i use hats on the boxes instead of the last 2 props for the event 🙂

Some of us only see it to open once if have all the characters/costumes. And that’s fair enough. I like it when players like yourself get chance pick up stuff.

I have been 4 gold rewards cards short of unlocking Gold Suit Lois for over 2 days now….. it is Tuesday and I just do not feel good about it.

update: RT must have been a divine intervention, because the next time the gold reward cards were to drop at same time, they both did “finally’ so I was able to unlock Gold Suit Lois!!!!!!!! wow got 4 reward cards in a span of maybe 10 secs yay!!!!!!!!

I have Gold Suit Lois, Gold Suit Peter, Gold Suit Stewie. I have 1 item left to get to complete Pt. 7 (In which I need 60 Gold hats) Not sure if I’ll make it to that one item.

i unlocked Peter on Saturday and Lois on Sunday
placed all the fountains and opened all the boxes (i got pilot quagmire , davey jones and 50 clams)
