Family Guy Addicts 
Has anyone won the jackpot from Spin ‘n Win without using clams? It’s annoying to have a game offer a jackpot but not give it out. My other game I play 100% free on I get their jackpot here and there. Not once with this game.

No, it doesn’t increase odds at all, I tested it and no difference. They should just incorporate it into events with a few material or currency drops.

While I agree that spending Clams for spins is a waste, I keep this in a conspicuous place, as I have indeed won the “jackpot” twice (both times I won relatively useless buildings), and 3 or 10 Clams a number of times. Now, that totals about 5 or 10 “wins” (the rest of the items don’t do anything for me, as I am Maxed, with 20 Million Coins), and I have been spinning daily since the wheel was introduced, so the odds are slim, BUT IT IS FREE, once a day, so I keep spinning! 🙂 Every morning, I update all my tasks and collect my drops, then spin the Wheel, and finally, go to Ollieland, to get my free stuff! It just takes a moment.

They are cheap, no more licensed content. I miss new non-family-guy-show characters from other TV shows, movies, etc. That means less fun for me and is the thing that is making me think of quitting, along with loading time and lagging. May be the last straw.

Prob pumped all the money into licensing the Harry Potter game, but I get where you’re coming from. Seems a bit like playing is more routine than for enjoyment.
Last year by this point we’d had at least a couple of licensed major events, now it just seems like they just take all their ideas from a recent episode and drag it out over 3-4 weeks. I mean, FG has a multiverse so they could go anywhere with that if they thought it through.

This is something that I have been noticing for some time. I started playing this game (and using this site) back in the first year or two. Since that time, I had accumulated a lot of licensed characters. Although some of them cost a small fortune (especially as some were in mystery boxes) it was always fun to see who was going to be added to the game next. I especially liked it when some of my favourites such as ALF, Weird Al Yankovic, Ferris Bueller etc. were added to the game. The licensed music / movie / TV themed events are actually a big reason why I enjoyed playing for so long.
Although I have not played this game in about a year now (I gave up after too many glitches / bugs and having to spend too much money to try and constantly catch up because of said glitches / bugs), I have been checking infrequently to see who was going to be next to be added to the game. From what I have seen, ALF was one of the last 1980s characters that I liked who was added to the game. I don’t really think that I am missing all too much from not playing anymore. I have other things to do these days. It was certainly fun whilst it lasted but this game is just not for me anymore. Even if they ever do actually have a “Back To The Future” event (which was one event that I always had wanted).
Just wanted to say “thanks” to RussianTiger, Bunny (yes, I know she does not play anymore either but as she helped me out SO much over the years, just had to mention her) and the other people who I made friends with / helped out with this site. I know that it has been a long time since I last posted but as I may never post again (but never say never, right?), just wanted to let you all know that your site and help with the game was always appreciated. 👍

Thanks Jacob, I must admit I miss hearing your memories that many past events triggered. I think we will only see licensed characters if it’s to promote something. Strangely many used to complain they wanted more episode based content not licensed characters, now we have that, everyone wants licensed characters again. Me I’ll just plod on whatever. But I honestly hope we’ll hear from you again.

Yes, I know. I miss talking to you as well. You are always a very kind and friendly person to talk to and a great help when it comes this game. Maybe I should just drop by occasionally to share some memories (if I have any related to future themes etc.). I probably won’t be playing this game again but that does not mean that I have to say “goodbye forever”. Just for the time being. Thanks RussianTigger, all the best to you. 👍

Any update on the duplicate issue? I’ve tried contacting them several times since the initial report and only get the “Thank you for contacting us” message…

I’ve no updates at this time but to be honest I’ve not asked for any. I will do after weekend.

I don’t think they have a fix for this yet, However, I did contact them and got a reply back and have been dealing with this problem the past week with them. What they ended up doing was using their “tool” to run a backup of my account back in February, before the “clone wars”. So in doing that it put me back a few levels, and lost some characters and character skins, However, I had a complete list of all my main characters and character skins in which I gave them the ones I was missing, and eventually they got me all fixed up and removed the “Clone war” issue. So it took some time but ended up getting things resolved. They do not reply on weekends so you may not hear anything until Monday or Tuesday.
But that is how I ended up getting the “Clone war” issue resolved. ( I think all together it took about 2 weeks total to get things fixed up and all my Characters/Skins back. So if you have a list of them all, Maybe suggest that to them unless they suggest it to you first.

It is a game by game fix at this time, unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way of doing this any other way as yet but they are still working on it. It appears to be similar to the roll back glitch in TSTO only EA are just giving out a new game and not restoring your list content. So TinyCo are going about this much better than EA.

Well, I was doing pretty well in the lasted event…until I woke up this morning and tried to load the game. Consuela pops up with the “please upgrade” button during the loading screen. When you click and are taken to the Google playstore….there is NO UPDATE!! So Tinyco….how do I get into my game now? Seriously, WTD?!

It’s the upgrade loop, you need let TinyCo know it’s happening, other players are having the issue.

Others have listed their fix as uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but only do this if your game has been saved to an account. And take a note if your PlayerID beforehand as a safety net.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall and it unfortunately didn’t fix my loop issue. Thanks for all the info and help! I greatly appreciate it!

I believe you need clear the data and cache as well. Hope this helps

I did have the upgrade loop (version 1901). I uninstalled/reinstalled through Google Play (Android) and it took me back to version 1891 and I no longer get the “update” message.
