Ok, it’s delayed as you know but the team are working hard to get us back playing and wanted me share this message with you.
“The team is currently looking into issues found on the upcoming event and we are working diligently to have it all fixed as soon as possible. We will let you know here once the next event releases. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and we thank you for your patience in the meantime“.
So there you have it, straight from the horse’s mouth, it’s not game over just a game glitch.

I’m actually really happy that the event is delayed. Fewer events with fewer bugs is something I’ve been hoping for pretty much since i started playing. Quality over quantity! ❤

I say, we’d rather wait for the developers to fix all the potential glitches and bugs than to face them during the upcoming event. Imagine how some people would have been be irritated should some major ones popped up? I guess, that would have been much more damaging to the game than delays.
Five years is quite some age for a mobile game, but I sure hope that it runs at least as long as the show.

Thanks for the regular updates! I couldn’t find info anywhere else about why there wasn’t a new event so I was getting worried. I’ve played since the very first event and would miss the game if it went dark. Have you heard if Tan Lines will get another floor? Mine in full and I have dozens of extra characters in-game. In the past, I’ve had problems with lag when I leave excessive characters walking around the city. Plus it’s annoying to have to tap through dozens of characters to find the ones that need to be leveled up! Anyway, thanks again!

You’re welcome. I’ve asked a few times for more Tan Lines space and have been told it’s being considered. However I just store excess characters to stop any game lag now.

No there’s been a similar delay few years ago while they fixed issues with the Hauntening Event.

To be fair, they’ve said event is delayed, it’s coming as soon as they sort things. I don’t see where they’ve lied in this.
