Hey there
I wanted to put up a place for questions, concerns, comments, suggestions, and all your feedback on Quahog Historical Society.
For the main details on Quahog Historical Society go HERE.
But as I said this is a page where you can feel free to leave your comments. I will be passing all this information on to support to help correct areas of concern and overall improve the new feature.
Remember to try be helpful and be detailed with your feedback. Don’t just say fix something, explain any issues and make suggestions for improvement. And don’t forget to just give general feedback about what you like or don’t like. But most impoanly just try to have fun! 🙂

Of all the new characters and skins added to the historical society, I was only missing 3… kinda bummed out was hoping for more… I was thinking they would add another 100 lines

I’m thinking more will come – some extra clams to collect for the ranks you had as well

Do you think they’ll add more characters to the ranks? I hope so, because I really want Roger as I missed him back in 2014 and he’s one of my favourite characters:/

They’ve just added more ranks, so hopefully we’ll see more old characters return this way.

While I echo the sentiments of others with the time it takes to send my 250+ characters on their “go for the gold” tasks, I seem to have another glitch that I didn’t see mentioned above:
Once I send about 200 characters on their “go for gold” quests, the game crashes (completely kicks me from the game). Then when I reopen it, it sends me back about 30 characters, like it didn’t save the progress. The only way I can get this not to happen is to either assign the tasks very slowly or pause for a few seconds after sending 10 or so. Obviously both methods makes it take even longer to send characters on their tasks and just adds to the frustration in general.

With the latest game update for Captain Peter, all my characters are stuck in the Historical Society building and its unreaponsive when I tap it. Please advise.

Mmm, that’s new glitch, been so many different issues over the weekend. Usually I’d suggest reinstalling if your game is saved to an account but as there’s also issues with that I’d contact support if you can’t free them.

I forgot where I recently commented this on but, whenever I collect from the QHS, the game freezes for a bit. This has only started happening for the past few days.

Could be linked to the update as well, another players game freezes trying release them

Really need a send all to go for the gold and a collect all when complete. Takes way too long.

No kidding. It takes way too long. This is something that I complained about before in a past post. In addition, I wish they would stop raising up the prices of the characters as you complete ranks. Either that or double the amount of medals you get for “going for the gold”. In other words, get two medals per 8-hour quest as opposed to just one.

I don’t have the current Pizza event FaceSpace set, is anyone else having this issue??

You might not see it until you unlock one of the characters

I believe that once you assign actions to characters to earn items, or for the daily quest, or to advance certain storylines, or to earn rewards from Tan Lines, that there needs to be invented a new catch-all button of some sort that will send all of your remaining characters on the screen, which aren’t being used at the moment for anything, to the Quahog Historical Society Museum all at once. This way you don’t have to go to each individual character one by one and do one swipe per character to send them all to that building. That is very time-consuming to do it that way and I get tired of all the constant swiping of once per character to send them to “go for the gold”, especially if you have a couple of hundred characters or so like I do. In addition, once you use the Stewie bucks to get all items, buildings, or characters that are available, then there needs to be a place where you have the option to convert Stewie bucks to gold medals, especially since Stewie bucks become worthless after you get all available items, buildings, or characters with them. Not only that, but it will help you earn more medals to get more characters since the price of characters keep seeming to go up after each rank becomes available. Which is also another grievance I have. Eventually it’s going to come to the point where just getting one character is going to cost you four thousand or five thousand medals. I really think you should keep the price of characters to no more than maybe 2,000 medals per character at the most. Frankly, I wish they’d stop raising up the cost and amount of medals needed to purchase new characters as the ranks get higher and higher. But if they are going to keep on doing that, then maybe they should make it to where each character can earn 2 or 3 gold medals at once each time they are sent to “go for the gold”, cause just 1 medal per character per 8 hour quest just doesn’t cut it. Does anyone agree with me on any of this?

I agree with your post. I actually stopped using Tan Lines a while ago. It would be really cool if we could use Tan Lines for the historical society. It would make it so much better getting a single character out for whatever reason. Right now we have to empty the whole building to get 3 chars needed for the daily task. At least with Tan Lines you were able to take individual chars out. The Stewie bucks for medals is a good idea.

Hopefully they do something about the efficiency on sending 200+ characters on Go for Gold. I don’t mind taping, in what seems to becoming an idle game, when I’m awake. Unfortunately, when I’m tired I fall asleep before sending them all back to the building. What happened to Tan Lines? There is so much opportunity there. There’s already a button at the end of each “floor” that can be switched over to send all and the Stewie buck column can be switched to collect all. It seems to me that after I got Evil Monkey there is no use for Stewie bucks, just like the coins. I do like the fact that it’s easier to get the characters needed for the daily tasks easier by having them in the building. I really wish the coders and development team will look at using Tan Lines for the Go for Gold.

After i get a character, i don’t always get the lines they speak when completing a quest line, just code (i think). For instance, on Santa’s little fanboy part 3, i get the verbiage of “CD_xmas4_side_stewie_3_Out………….. (I wasnt typing fast enough to get it all)”
This has happened more than once and not just to Stewie; it just took me a while to figure out what was happening, has anyone else had this issue?

I haven’t been able to play for weeks, I get connection error and the game on reload goes back to same place as before I sent characters going for gold and the quahog historical building has disappeared and I buy it again, place it again and I get another connection error. I don’t think the problem is my end, as other games (eg TSTO) are working well.

Please message support, I think this and other glitches are rearing their head, I’ve just had the Gingerbread Robot disappear whilst I was on a task defeating it, so possibly all linked.

I know I’m late with suggestions but I was waiting for some of the glitches to be sorted out. I like that they put the Go For Gold at the top of each character’s questline- definitely saves time. My thought for making this easier is to copy the Simpsons Tapped Out model. Rather than going to each individual and selecting the Go for Gold task, they should have a Go For Gold task “button” that when opened has a list of available characters that can be assigned to the task. All available characters are in one drop-down list that you can use to assign the characters to the task.

Recommendation to allow purchase of medals using Stewiebucks. They’re useless for anything else, so why not incorporate them into this? Thanks for your efforts to curate feedback!

Concur wholeheartedly with all. On the plus side, I’ve finished Rank 16 and have lots of extra medals lined up ready for Rank 17. Good addition to the game. But Stewie Bucks and Tan Lines need to replace manually sending 300 characters to the Griffin House to Go for the Gold 3 times a day. I’m getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from this repetitive swiping.

It would be really cool if we could keep the maxed out characters in Tan Lines (thought that was the whole point of the building) and have the full floors, if not all floors, have a Go for Gold button for those floors. That way it wouldn’t flood the Griffin House.
Reassign the building the characters that are on the Go for Gold task, as suggested in previous posts.
Have an option for us to use the Stewie Bucks and coins for the Premium Ranks. We have a lot and no use for them, if you’re not into or have all the buildings.

Is anyone else having constant crashing issues with the game? It has gotten so bad that just to check in every four hours for the easy challenge tasks takes three game reloads.

Few reports of this here and there but not an avalanche of complaints.

I’ll be honest, I’d rather the characters come with already completed quest lines. Many of them invariably require characters that are used in the current event, so you have to make the choice to just let a bunch of quest lines build up on the side, or compromise the current event to complete a quest line for a character that you’ll likely just put away and never use again until an event calls for that character. Plus, it avoids the issue of not having the building needed to complete the questline.

I just got Satan from the society but I can’t finish the quest because it requires Hellmouth. Are they gonna add the buildings that go with the character to finish the quest lines?

As I am unlocking characters from the Historical Society I am sending them on their quests. Problem is, some of the quests require buildings that are not available anymore. Why not put our coins to use and making buildings from previous events available so we may finish character quests?
