Placing the Lazy Beer River seems like such a waste of glasses. (I have the original version so no need for a duplicate.) I’ll assume though that you can’t progress to Week 2 without completing Week 1. However, part of me is thinking there is a small chance the weeks will be independent, so I’m considering not spending the glasses until Week 2 is formally released. If my gamble is wrong though, I’ll have to count on this site to know for certain the second week is active! 🙂

I’m thinking with no reference in Questline to Week 2, they could be seperate entities and there could be a different main currency. We’ll know soon.

I’m on part 4. I can’t advance unless I have Consuela. How do you advance if you don’t have her? I don’t have that many clamshells to put yourself

I am new to this game. Just started playing a couple of weeks ago. I’m progressing nicely, However, I will only do what is free. I’ll never pay anything into this game & that seems a bit limiting. I received the Christmas Quests but couldn’t do much as I didn’t have mush of what was required. Currently on the New Year/New You Quest. It seems Part 4 requires Consuela. I do not have her & it seems the only way to get her is to invest a lot of money to obtain enough clams to buy her. I’ve noticed there are a lot of similar elements in this game. I’ll will never do this,is it even worth playing or willI eventually reach a point where I can no long move on, as I appear to be with this current Quests, & other aspects & Quests of the game.

It’s like most things in life, if you only want the free stuff you can’t have everything but it won’t stop you getting stuff, many have played for years and amassed hundreds of characters without paying a penny. You’re nit being held up by your unwillingness pay money but by the fact you’ve only been playing a few weeks and haven’t progressed enough to have enough content to be able to fully play the events.
Consuela is available to buy for medals in Rank 1 of Quahog Historical Society so no need to use Clams if you’re far enough along in the game.

Thanks for the response. I’m doing well, & know these things take time. Some characters are more “active” then others & quests get held up by waiting for a character to finish up a task or a building getting built etc. I’m currently On District 5, Pirates Cove, & almost done with it, just waiting to finish off Pirate Peter Costume & Navy Quagmire, which should hopefully happen later today or tomorrow.
As for Consuela, I noticed the other option & considered it, when it looked like I only needed 160 medals, but then I found out it was 1600. I don’t have nearly that many, so I guess that option is out. Also, does that include the house as well, or just the character?

Hey, Thanks for the reply. I didn’t notice this until just now. I actually don’t have a screen shot anymore. Even if I was able to get one, I wouldn’t know how to get it to you, as I play on a different device then I use email/internet on. I was able to unlock HD Cleveland & CC Quagmire, which gave me two medals & I converted those to Medals & got Regular Cleveland & Consuela. It cost me almost all of the medals I got from that, but they seemed like important characters to have. If I ended up over paying is there a way to get that back?
I don’t know the significance or importance of the other two characters so I guess I’ll hold off a while before getting any more & wait for the stock pile to build up.
I also ended up using a bunch of my clams & getting another worker as building things seemed to be a hold up & looking ahead would speed things up a bit. Still have to wait on characters completing tasks though, so I don’t know if I did the right thing or not.

If you’re just new having another worker will help but don’t buy any more than 2 as after the districts are unlocked they aren’t used.
No worries regarding screenshot. Without it I can’t check costs with support I’m afraid. But I’m going to test out a new game save and it will show me the costs.
The good thing about QHS it’s is there all time so you can unlock characters as and when.

I see. I just need to place the Lazy River and I’m done with Part 7. I almost have CC Quagmire anyway. And I’ve got a few thousand ready for QHS RANK 24. Thanks to QHS, I now have. Surplus of 800 clams and I’m almost ready for Week 2. ANd I’m still playing Freemium. They really made the game much better lately. Kudos to JC/TC.

I’m almost on Part 7 — playing Freemium. I have Humpty Dumpty Cleveland — and got the Trophy — so I’ve got 5,000 Medals for QHS Rank 23 saved. I almost have the third building. But Cheshire Cat Cleveland is going to take me a bit, and he’s required for Part 7, so I may bog down there a while. The game is fun again. I’m loving it.
