Just wanted to put up a post about a reoccuring glitch in the game regarding the latest Mystery Box. As I pointed out in the Week 2 overview post the main prize in this box should be Capulet Stewie, but for some reason he doesn’t show up as one of the actual prizes once you go into the tab of prizes for some players, so if your impacted hold off trying to get him at this time. Support know about this and are trying to see why this is happening in only some players mystery boxes. It’s the same issue some of you saw with Turkey Meg & Polar Bear Cleveland, I myself have had the issue with Turkey Meg and now Capulet Stewie but didn’t have it with Polar Bear Cleveland, whereas some of you have had issues with all 3 mystery boxes. It’s the random nature of this that’s making the cause harder to pinpoint.
So as I say don’t waste Clams on the mystery box if you don’t see Capulet Stewie when you click on the prizes tab. I’ll update you when I know more.
So same deal as last lime, I just got a message back from Support when I was asking about Capulet Stewie, and mentioned Turkey Meg in the process. Instead of answering me, they sent that same exactly reply back to me about cheating, like they did before. I have no idea why Support either won’t answer me, or answers but goes way off topic. It seems like most people on here have no problem getting an answer from Support.

If they think you’ve an altered game there’s little I can do here, you really need deal with Jam City. But they’ve always been very strict that any player they find who has an altered game won’t get support help. EA are the same with Tapped Out. But if they’ve made a mistake speak to them and ask why they think that and clear up what their concern is.

Honestly, I have tried when they mentioned that the first time with Turkey Meg, and they didn’t clear anything up. So, I don’t know what else to do. I guess I won’t be getting Turkey Meg or Capulet Stewie in my game unless they decide to add them to the QHS. I guess I’ll just wait it out. BTW, it is a little bit harder to defeat the couple when you don’t have Capulet Stewie to help

I had the exact same response from Support recently. I know I haven’t cheated. Don’t even know how and didn’t think it was possible since the game syncs with their servers. I thought maybe it had to do with the category topic like Missing Clams. Maybe they think we are incorrectly reporting how many clams used to unlock a character/skin. I noticed this with the category topics because I asked a general question and received a response and then my next ticket was about not being able to unlock a character and then received the canned cheating response. Oh well.

Again message them if this is the case. But sadly it is possible to cheat in the game, many did so blatant, until Jam City rightly clamped down on it.

I have messaged them using generic categories and just saying I need help. They respond asking what help I need and as soon as I ask when the Capulet Stewie glitch in the Mystery Box is going to be fixed, I get the you’re cheating response and they close the ticket.

I can’t even ask them why they think I’m cheating or provide receipts showing I’ve purchased clams because they immediately send the canned response and close my ticket. I am trying to find a number I can call to talk to Support. It’s frustrating when you are innocent of their claims but they don’t give an opportunity to communicate with them.
Do you know if the glitch has been fixed because he still doesn’t show up in the prizes section of the Mystery Box? Thanks

The glitch hasn’t been fixed, they are still trying pinpoint what it is that’s causing it to only happen in some games.

My mystery box has disappeared so I guess no Capulet Stewie for me, just like no Turkey Meg…they never fixed that last time they just gave her to those that contacted them, so I guess there’s no reason to hope they’ll fix it this time.

For me there is a greater issue with Capulet Stewie. I was lucky to get him on my first try but about 60 seconds later my game lost connection. I talked to Support and they were able to put him in my inventory. When I started to use him my game would crash every 30-60 seconds. This happened every time I logged in (not fun having to redo everything). I put him back into inventory and haven’t had a connection issue since.

Looks like I spoke too soon. Played for awhile, logged out and when I tried to get back in had an error. When I did finally get back in I was back to where I was before being able to put Capulet Stewie in inventory, game lost connection 30 seconds later and I haven’t been able to reconnect.

I think that’s issue with rinse and repeat events, glitches get copied over. Be great if they could start from scratch but not going happen

This is some BS. I haven’t got any character form Mystery Box since Turkey Meg. How long ago was it? 2 months? And they can’t figure it out? If it reoccurs for some players repeatedly, than it is not random.

I know it’s frustrating, but it’s random in the players affected, not every player has the issue, I’ve had it with Turkey Meg and Capulet Stewie but not Polar Bear Cleveland in one game but my other game no problems. They can’t see it in their test games, so they are having to look through individual games to see what’s happening. Hence why it’s taking so long to fix. Support have been as helpful as they can with impacted players and hopefully if you’ve missed anyone once the glitch is fixed I’ll pester them to release these in some way to give players a chance at them.

I’ve just reported this to support as well. I’m only see three prizes, so I’m missing several prizes in addition to Capulet Stewie.

Simple. Stop putting premium characters in mystery boxes. Better yet is to just lose the concept entirely. Didn’t we have a short time there when we were able to choose between trying the box or just buying outright at the usual rate?

Guess my other posts were removed for some reason. Another glitch of the box is Capulet Stewie himself. Since I got him my game constantly loses connection and I have to redo progress – waiting to hear back from Support
