After a few weeks of teasers on here, Alternate Quahogs is starting to appear in selected players games as a final level of beta testing is run before the full roll out. Therefore I thought it’s time to get a glitch post up, so anyone who has the new feature and has a problem can tell us here.

I’ve noticed that ever since the Alternate Quahog landed, I can’t turn off ‘push notifications’, i.e., I turn them off, and when I launch the game again, they’re back on. It’s completely annoying as it slows the game down. I’ve never had them on before, and now that we have the Quahog Historical and Alternate Quahog, there are a lot of tasks that have ended when I open the game, and it’s just ‘ding’ ‘ding’ ‘ding’ etc. Slows the game down significantly…

I have the alternatr Quohags but when i play on one of my devices (game is connected to a few devices) it’s not there. When i get back to the device where it does work, the questline starts over. Luckily is saves the progress do i don’t have to buy the worlds again.

I have the alternate Quahog update but can’t click on anything in the game to complete tasks. I can click on all menu items and go to aternate Quahogs but I can’t do anything in any Quahog because I can’t click on anything in the game itself.

I’m having a lot of issues with the game not saving since I got the alternate quahogs on iOS a few days ago. I’ll send my characters on tasks, close the app, then log back in a few hours later, and the characters are still on their old task, not the one I sent them on recently.
And, the game crashes constantly. It’s been that way for a while, but after the update, it’s now at least once every single time I open the app.

It’s a 64 gb iPhone X with 12+ gb free. I placed the portal once I got the notification to place it. I’ve unlocked grass land and winter land, and placed the quakea in winter land.

Thanks for the extra info – can I check does your Winterland show land unlocking by materials or coins? And do you have the new event splash screen

Yes to both – winter land sections can be unlocked by both materials, coins, or clams. And I have the fairy tale splash screen.

I just got it last night for my ios. i dont have the desert land though, just the grass, winter and night. Do you know if that was dropped?

No, you’ve just got the test version, players see different lands, once full feature is live you’ll see Desert Land

I installed alternate quahogs and quakea store yesterday. I sent a bunch of characters on the main page to collect wood, hammers and whatnot. When all completed hours later they were not available on the alternate quahog scene for land expansion. Not sure if that means they only work if generated from on that alternate page only. Trying again.

Hi…tools generation seems to be working fine now RT. As you mention I was probably too quick to action during testing. I hope the progress we are making is maintained and not reset with formal launch. Lol. Thx

I’m not seeing the Alternate Quahog stuff yet but I do have issues with the game. The perfume to clear the Fairy Tale Skunk is listed as being Common but it isn’t dropping that way. I had three characters working towards it over night with a result of 0 dropped this morning. Sent them back off and just collected. Only one dropped this time. Also, the program has been crashing regularly for me for quite some time. I usually crash at least once per session and all I’m basically doing is collecting and sending characters back off in any given session. Oh, and watching videos.

The “Unknown Character Class” error is back. Have been unable to play since I checked out the new features. I did open an issue with Tinyco and they responded with the usual ‘force close the game and try again’ answer. So now it is with the developers. I urge everyone that has this error to report it to Tinyco so they can see how widespread it is! Going on 2 days…… Anxiety setting in…….

I have an android (and the quest), and after transporting to the town, I can’t do anything. It’s not locked up per/se as I can go ‘home’, but I can’t do anything while there.

Anyone notice, or can anyone tell me why after this last update to the future universes being available, that all of a sudden Peter and Bonnie have a 14 hour task for what looks like a fire hose.(?) And Herbert has a 17 hour task for what appear to be a few nails, as in hammer and nails? Those are the only 3 that have come off the tasks they were on, so there may be more. Would love it if you could let me know exactly what those items and tasks are there for. I see no mention of them anywhere in FAQ. Appreciate any info. Thanks.

Some land blocks in Alternate Quahogs needs materials to unlock it, these are drops for that

There have been reports of NPC’s being transported to the Alternate Quahogs. As far as I can tell, only the roaming NPC’s (the ones that traverse the streets, or if no streets, just move around open space) are the ones affected. It’s hard to tell if this is actually a glitch, but it could be annoying for some players that expect their NPC’s to stay put in one town rather than seeing them in every town they visit.

I play on Android, after buying the winter place I cannot login the game anymore, everytime there is a “Load Error”

I run on both android and iOS. After logging into my android version, I placed the portal in my play area. But after logging into my iOS version I get a load error. Even after logging back into my android version and placing the portal into inventory, I am still unable to log into my iOS version. I have notified Tinyco but it will probably take a few days to get a reply. My advice is do not place the portal into your game if you play on both platforms. Wait for the iOS update
