As I said, in my gamespace, the countdown timer has been accurate the last 3 events (usually are for me) and they’ve all ended at 8am Eastern/NY time, I remember vividly the first time because I always plan my tasks to end around certain hours and I was running late and wanted to make sure I finished before the event was over at 10am per usual and to get ready for the daily’s, but alas it was already finished and I missed getting something (I forget what 🤷🏻) and was pissed off enough to close the game for a few hours and be late to the new event … these last 2 events I finished a day early and remember just watching the clock waiting for the timer to end hoping maybe for some more decorations to be released the last day.

I would just like to point out, events have been ending on Wednesday mornings for at least the past 3 events on my device/account, not to mention the timer has been accurate as well (again, on my device/account) … I was annoyed the first time, but realize I can’t be too mad as the timer was correct; therefore, I don’t think it ended early as the title suggests.

They’ve been ending at 11am, then 10am after the clock change, but not 5am, I queried this when event started and was told it would be a 10am finish. The timer is often wrong, so I go by what support tell me. Something has gone wrong here, and I say that despite a 5am PST end/start for events suiting me well in the UK.

The timer is sadly off more often than not, I have often had them fix it. For most of the year events haven’t started or finished as intended for one reason or another, the last 3 events haven’t all finished with the timer as Teen Trauma was extended for a day. And although an extension is better than an early end, all the fluctuating end times make it hard for players who need all the time to finish freemium to do so, and for others to decide whether to use Clams to finish up events. It’s not a big deal if you finish with day or more to spare. I’m hoping now they’ve settled on this new end time we’ll see less of the floating end times. But I have to back players frustration when they have pointed out the timer and FAQ have different end times and support tell them it’s a 10am PST finish, and it’s not. Support also understand that annoyance and it’s why they’ve been sympathetic to players who’ve complained to them, and it’s why they’ve asked I confirm the end time is changing going forward.

I agree with others and their frustration too, but it’s not universal, just another glitch … Sucks and a shame for those who can’t calculate themselves, events are ALWAYS on a 7 day schedule, NEVER LESS, so if an event starts today (doesn’t matter the time, events haven’t started on time since 2015/6, nothing new nor does it effect anything all that much), today would be day 1 and day 7 would be Tuesday, so the next event or phase would start at ANY time the next day on Wednesday, typically morning/afternoon … I had WAAAY more problems last year and the year before and think this year has been the BEST SUPPORT has been since 2015 (the last smooth year before they started changing, although 2016 wasn’t horrible like 2017-2019, that’s when I actually had lots of problems even on my flagship devices!
Yes, the timer and FAQ has been different frequently, but the timer has only been wrong twice (on my devices) in the past 2 years, none were recent … If you talk about the FAQ time, it has ended early quite a few times. Ending later is never an issue, but it would be nice if they told us in advance they’re extending as people spend clams the last day to finish up tasks sometimes.
I only commented because I feel the title is misleading/incorrect as the event ended EXACTLY to the minute according to my devices timer (makes me wonder now if it’s account specific rather than device 🤔) … I would rather say ‘Thanksgiving Event Timer Glitch’ or something, but NOT that it ended early. There’s also people that claim it ended early when in reality they simply didn’t read the new time as ending earlier than previously or realized because they’re use to a specific schedule and TinyCo did NOTHING to inform us they were moving to an earlier schedule at the beginning of autumn, but I always read everything except the quest interaction (I always skip) … maybe I should start posting what my timer says at the beginning of each event and see if it holds true 😆 (or better yet, take a screenshot and wait to post until after the end so as not to influence anyone reading this).
Still, in the end, all of us here (myself included) appreciate what you do and all that you’ve done since Bunny’s departure, I definitely wouldn’t have continued playing this game if not for this site. (I hope you’re reading this TinyCo and take note)

Support over the last couple years have been great, big, big improvements, and a more player centred point of view taken again. I’ve hailed them often on here, but I also have to say when they get it wrong, and I think you’ve maybe missed the point or maybe I’ve not made it clear enough.
Players that pointed out the timer and FAQ were different they were told the FAQ was the correct end time. It was only after the event ended and complaints came in support looked into it further and found the event end times had been changed. But I think everyone on here should now know that it’s a 5am PST end, but I’ll remind everyone nearer the end just incase.
With regards the timer, I don’t think it would show different times in different players games, but it has been wrong on quite a few events as I’ve reported it and it’s often been fixed quickly as a result.
Thanks for your appreciation of the site, hopefully it will plod on as long as the game does….
