Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
There’s been a number of loading errors popping up, I’m reporting what I see but I seem to get in after trying for a while. Support are trying see what’s causing this.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

Hoverboard hipster
These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events..
As usual will find they wander your sidewalks, you can find them by looking there or using the Squatter Button.
Now with these you can clear 4 with 1 Smoke Bomb, so my advice is to put down just a small area of Sidewalk and they will gather in that one small area making it easy to clear 4. Once you have at least 1 Smoke Bomb tap one and then place the target over them and fire.
I am seeing up to a maximum of 16 in my game.

Boss carter
This Boss will trigger as soon as you start phase 1 of the event. This is your Main Boss this week. You will “Bribe” it with Debt to defeat it to the highest level possible and obtain the most prizes.
You’ll see it wandering your sidewalks with a timer above its head.
Simply tap it and you’ll see the level requirement trade and rewards. Collect the Bribe Money necessary for the battle then hit, eh, “Bribe“.
Here is the general breakdown of cure costs and rewards.
1X – Requires 1 Debt
Rewards – 25 Carterbucks & 1 Credit Card
2X – Requires 3 Debt
Rewards – 35 Carterbucks & 2 Credit Cards
3X – Requires 5 Debt

You have 24hrs to hit him to the highest level you can before he will rest (cool down). His cool down is 2 hours.

FYI, I emailed them about the Deb/Credit problem with Hoverboard Connie and they credited me 8 debs and 5 credit cards to my game account. Perfect amount for me the get the character!

I complained too and they gave me 7 debts. Just need one more to be able to fully clear Carter. Hopefully I get it since Lois will only drop one more time before the event’s over.

absolutely no way to get enough credit cards. The drop rate for the “debt” is low, even with Lois and Dragonmire collecting. The payoff for the battle is just too low. I am at 10 of 27. Even had the “season pass” which contributed NOTHING to this phase.

so you need 25 debt to clear Boss Carter, and I’m stuck on 9 with barely 2 days to go. Having Lois are the only character for this is not good!

The drop rates for some items are ridiculous, I’ve only managed to collect 3 debts in 4 days. I’ve got 6 floppy disks 6 disks in 3 days. At this rate it will take another week to make any progress

Not sure if I’ll collect enough debt to finish carter 5 times. It’s Sunday night and I have only 12. Too bad Lois is the only non-premium character who can collect debt. So I won’t get enough credit cards to unlock hover Connie. All other items for her were finished yesterday.

0 debt drops out of 3 tries today for Executive Lois today. So far, by end of day Sunday, I’ve collected only 7 debt (technically 8, since I spent one for the questline). Even if the event was extended for another week, I doubt I could make it. I though it couldn’t get more impossible than trying to get Winter Meg, but here we are. Even if I got no sleep and hit Lois exactly every 6 hours, it wouldn’t have worked. Was hoping TinyCo would change something, but time is running out to make a change that would actually be effective.

It takes what 25 debt cards to defeat boss Carter? and they are only dropped buy Lois every 8 hours and it is “uncommon” so far I have collected 5 and then you get 27 for the Connie and you need 12 RARE dna and only Dr Hartman drops them at least they could have two people drop these

Is it even possible to get Hoverboard Connie without clams/purchase? Lois is the only one who gets “Debt”. At 6 hours you can realistically have her find it 3 times a day. At 7 days you can only get 21 “debt”. But you need 25 to defeat Carter and get all of the Credit Cards. Just sucks when you do the math and realize that you aren’t going to unlock a character before you even start. Or am I missing something?

If you only have Executive Lois for the Debt drops it will be impossible. I have raised this with support.

Anyone else concerned about getting enough debt to attack Boss Carter fully before the end of the event? Executive Lois is the only freemium skin I have that can get debt and that’s an uncommon drop every six hours. In previous events, they had Tricia drop materials too and it was close with the two of them.

This has got to be a joke….. 1 character to get the debt required to fight boss carter, that takes 6 hours, AND is uncommon. Unless you have bought other characters….. I have only collected a total of 6 debts since Wednesday and I play all the time. I even bought a mystery box and got giant chicken Peter and he did absolutely nothing to “help” as it said he would.
No way this gets finished without having to buy more of their stuff.

Did anyone at TinyCo actually do the math for credit cards? Loiss the only f2p character that can get debt debt certificates and she needs 25 of them to get a full kill on Carter boss to get the 27 credit cards needed to unlock Connie. This means If you were to get her to drop a debt certificate every 6 hours for 7 days the maximum you could get is 28 and you need 25. However the drop rate is uncommon, which means you’re likely to get only 3 out of 4 drops per day which puts you at 21 for the week which is lower than the 25 needed to get a full streak on Carter boss…. And that’s not even factoring in normal person’s sleep patterns.

I am going to assume that most of us only have Executive Lois dropping Debts. At 1 every 6 hours, and it’s an uncommon drop, I’m going to wager most of us will not be unlocking Hoverboard Connie without using clams since we’ll need 25 of them to hit the 5X on Boss Carter.

Collecting that much debt will be impossible unless you’ve paid. Lois take 6 hours so only a maximum of 4 a day. But uncommon so more likely 2 a day. 25 debt required for a full run to get 27 credit cards. I keep checking to see if they add another character action but it’s all paid for characters and paid for shrines. They just added “Dragonmire baby get experimented on” to get debt, something that doesn’t even exist in the game.

Dragonmire does exist, it’s just very players will have him as it was a VIP Season Pass character.

moan moan moan – only Lois can collect ‘debt’ to right Carter. it’s a 6hr task with an ‘uncommon’ drop.
I’ve sent Lois to do this task 6 times now, even sped a few up with clams, and she hasn’t dropped a single one. thats a terrible rate of return even for the dreaded uncommon item.
Have sent a message to support about it so will see what comes from that

Support replied to say theyre aware of issues with drop rates in this event and credited me with 25 clams for the inconvenience.
I have noticed the drop rate for ‘Debt’ improve since i messaged them on Friday but theres still not a prayer im going to get enough to beat Carter enough times to collect the Credit Cards (I now have 6, need 19 more)

it’s impossible to unlock Connie without one of the premium characters,
with only Lois dropping debt. Realistically, you’ll get, at most 3 per day. That’s 21/25. It is possible that you could get 7 every 2 days. that’s 24/25, but it’s a chance, not an always drop, so you’ll get less than that. If it was a 4 hour task, it would be doable, but not at 6 hour.

So the only way to get Credit Cards is to battle Boss Carter. You need Bribes and the only way to get Bribes (freemium) is through Executive Lois, which has an uncommon drop for 6 hour jobs (which she has yet to do after a day of trying). You could (in theory) get 4 bribes per day freemium, if they dropped every time. So in one week you could get around 28. You need at least 25 to get the credit cards. So it is, right now, pretty much impossible to finish Hoverboard Connie unless you pay clams. Am I missing something?

The Floppy Disk requirements for the buildings are ridiculous!!! Three characters available when the drop rate is ‘Abysmal’, not ‘Uncommon’… now for the third building need FIFTEEN of them!!!

To expand on my other post about drops of debt to fight Boss Carter, it’s impossible using the only freemium character that drops, Executive Lois. To get Hoverboard Connie, you need 27 Credit Cards, which means running the full streak to 5x, which requires a total of 25 debt. Executive Lois has a 6 hour task for drops of debt, which means most people will get 3 tries per day, since people have lives and do things like sleep. Even if it was an always drop (which it isn’t), you’d only get 21 debt in 7 days, so you’d still be short.
Unless they change Lois to double drops, or cut her task down to 4 hours, or have another freemium character also drop debt, there seems no way to get enough credit cards for Hoverboard Connie without spending clams.

Still struggling to finish the previous part. Had to spend 50 clams to finish unlocking Lois and nkw waiting for her 10 hour task so i can move on to the next phase. Drop rates for a couple of the items for Lois were so poor for me this time.

It looks like the AI Doll exchange in my game incremented after starting at 8 oil for 3 bombs up to 9. I stopped when I realized they dropped from drone hits as well as oil still dropping.
Also, they REALLY need to come up with a better character locating system. I see Engineer Stewie is supposed to collect debt, but I can’t find him, if I even have him? Character? Skin/outfit? No clue, there is no easy way to see these things, FaceSpace is just as much a joke as the sites it is loosely based on. I have an even 500 characters in QHS and can only get one out by letting them all out, or buying their way out if I can locate that one character in a 500 character scrawl before the game crashes.

Interestingly enough, you came to the rescue again, RT…
I searched this site for Engineer Stewie and was able to see what he looked like. Eventually scrolled through QHS enough to find the I indeed do have him. Luckily I have video ff avail and was able to pull him out.
These are the problems I have with QHS:
-there does not seem to be a lot of order to how characters appear in there, sometimes they are grouped in some way, others not. The character name is not visible when going for gold so you have to know what the character looks like.
-there needs to be a way to access an individual character when characters in QHS are task complete, the checkmark appears and tapping the building just starts pulling characters out in probably some order but who know what it might be. If a task calls for a character, the game is smart enough to tell you they are on a task already and throw up the “oh no, we need character name to do task name!” dialog, but then it loses track of them.
-idea for QHS, if you ARE able to tap the building and see all the characters going for gold, have some way to pull them off task with no result. Us players lose the time spent and get nothing, but we also get the character available to go right away.

All good points. Usually the task will let you pull characters out Tan Lines etc easily, but the Go For Gold task needs something similar, or an alphabetical list of who’s on task and ability to cancel task. I will ask again
