  2. I don’t u sweat and why you support a company who is this lazy and does not care about their customers. I left the game for vm a while bc of this same reason (unbalanced and impossible quest lines) and I come back and they are bad as ever. I really enjoyed playing this game but when I come back to only one character providing the item you need at an uncommon rate and it takes 6 hours each time…and you need over 30 to be able to use to get another item you need 27 of to unlock a character to complete a quest, not only is that lazy programming but they do not even address it after receiving numerous complaints. It’s disgusting!

  3. I’m in phase 6, waiting for Connie to complete her task. Took forever to get the cards to fight Carter with just Lois collecting them. Only got them by using the fast forward option a lot.

  4. Nowhere close to getting Hoverboard Connie, buyout cost 489 clams, ummm Nah. Worst event for me in recent memory. I don’t have the FF feature, nor have ever had it, dunno if it would have made a difference.

  6. Sure wish one of the characters from the season pass helped with the final stage, like android quagmire, but no such luck. Bought it during stage 3 just in case. Or maybe they could have put some debt in there.

  7. I completed the event this morning. I found this event very frustrating even though I had Executive Lois and Engineer Stewie to collect debt. 6 hour drop for each character on an item that drops 1 out of 3 times for the majority of the time was very aggravating.

I do not have the fast forward feature like some players so it makes it all that more frustrating to have no debt drop from either character after waiting 6 hours. If I wasn’t a insomniac I would not have collected the 25 needed like I did.

I’ve gotten to the point were I dread the announcement of 3-week events as it’s become routine for the 3rd week to no longer be fun.

  8. 24 hours left and no change, so it appears support isn’t going to do anything. Unless they gift everyone a dozen or more credit cards or debt, about the only way to get Hoverboard Connie is to buy her out. My plan is to start doing fights to get as many credit cards as I can and then decide whether to buy her out. Even if I only get 10 credit cards, buying the remaining 17 needed at 8 clams each is still cheaper than having bought Boss Carter or the Debt Shrine. Of course, you shouldn’t have to do this in the first place.

  9. 9 of the required 25 or so currency (credit cards?) left for Connie. All the rest completed. They had gotten better with stuff like this, but it looks like this may be the first event I haven’t finished in a long time. (Lois unlock is now less than the cost of Boss Carter that seems to have helped others finish Connie. Debating about spending the clams but…dunno…)

  10. Finished the main questline with 1.5 days to spare, I did use a few clams – like 1 or 2 at a time – to speed up some item drops before bed each day but otherwise I didn’t use anything special.

I keep looking at the Season Pass to decide if I should waste clams on it, but it just looks awful and I’d basically be paying 305 clams for Android Quagmire and a Future Council Cleveland skin. All the other stuff is complete junk as far as I’m concerned.

  11. never going to do this 1 day to go and still need 12 more this has been a bad event for drops

  12. Like many others, I’m just waiting on debt.
I feel it’s highly unlikely JC will adjust drops or give us all a 25 debt bonus before event end. Don’t know whether to chuck in the towel and have a few days off or keep going and see what happens.

Also @ RT – How tedious must it have been posting that many ‘I have raised this with support’ messages 😀 haha

    • Not as tedious as seeing same issue came up every time they replay this format for a 3 week event – a simple change to the requirements would save Tinyco support a lot of grief

  15. Finished. I gave up on the whole Executive Lois/Boss Carter credit card ordeal and just bought Connie for 80 clams.

  16. Despite starting the moment the phase dropped and using yhe sdvert accelerator to the max, I can see no prospect of completion! I won’t get the girl as I have still to fill three clusters for wich I currently average only one third of the required objects. With less than 2 days to go thar will not be completed. The current claim cost to buy completion is over 400 and is unlikely to be below 299 when time runs out No way Jose! It is a long time since I failed to finish a phase 3, but the designers do seem to have miscalculated the drop rates this time?

  17. Actually, there are 2 characters that give up debit drops to fight Carter, the new Stewie and Lois. Both are 6 hours which technically means 4 chances per day for each. Still takes time, as drops are uncommon. But doable, if you don’t sleep much (I don’t). Only need one more drop for the last debit.

Won’t bother with inanity of final building as others already have. Only reason to go for it is to complete quest and get 5 clams.

  18. Pretty much checked out. Have gotten a total of 10 debt over the 5 days, and that’s hitting Executive Lois 3 times every day. Have everything else I need for Hoverboard Connie, but it’s not going to happen. It never was. Put most everyone away and looking for the next event on Wednesday.

  19. I gave up on the event because of the Lois debt drops to beat Carter were clearly impossible.

    • Thank you for raising our concerns with acquiring Debt to defeat Carter. I’m lucky to get more than 2 per day, and that’s sending Lois three times per day. It would be nice if the last building gave us debt, but CarterBucks are worthless now. Considering buying Boss Carter but don’t think it’s worth the clams, and I’m not buying 1 Debt for 8 clams either. Let’s see what the response is.

    • Gave up on this over the weekend. Nowhere near enough debt things to beat down Carter unless you bought the premium character. Probably would have got everything else but didnt check in much over the last day or two as knew the debt drops where nit even close.

  20. I’ve finished the event. I had Boss Carter to help with the debt drops, so I managed to get 25 by the weekend to defeat the boss.

I agree with others though, that last building was about the most useless building of any event. Who at this point needs more Carterbucks after you get the last building? Luckily I had the other character or I’d be pretty upset right now also.

    • Yeah. Another disgruntled player here in need of debts to defeat Boss Carter. Everything else done. Kind of disappointed they made this week more impossible than normal.

  21. I have everything I need to unlock Hoverboard Connie except the credit cards from clearing Boss Carter. I’ve only gotten 12 so far and need 25. Lois collects every six hours. Rates are uncommon. Realistically, I can collect from her three times per day (morning, noon, and night). Three times seven days is just 21. And 25 are needed to fully defeat Carter. But please, let’s have a building drop Carter bucks during week three when everyone has likely banked several thousand by now. So utterly and completely ridiculous.
