It’s time to cook up a storm!!!
Yes with the new Wet Hot Quahog Summer event, we’re getting some new Characters and one of them just happens to be Gene The Cook.
Let’s throw you some information on what Gene The Cook can do in our silly lil games.
Gene The Cook is a New Character added during the Wet Hot Quahog Summer event. As with many characters in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff! You will be directed to start to unlock him at Pt. 2 of the main Questline Battle of The Bulge. Tapping on Go will take you to to the event area where you will repair the Cabin, this will bring Gene The Cook into your game to unlock.
Requires
18 Aprons (Always): Get from Camp Wars
12 Sweaters (Common): Get from Boys Cabin
8 Fondue (Uncommon): Lois Heat Up TV Dinners OR Get from Secret Snack Stash
15 Fridges (Rare): Chris Look For Leftovers OR Joe Research Applicants OR Get from Weigh In Station
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials his character requires you can pull Gene The Cook into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Cook Out, more on that in another post.
Gene The Cook does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP! He can also man the Cannon as a Leader in Camp Wars and take part in Camp Pranks.

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

I have Gene the Cook, but on his questline at Cook Out Pt. 4 it says ‘Have Lois Cook Up a Plan.’ However I cannot find this task in Lois’ profile. Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing something?

I can’t complete “Cook Out Part 3” because the second task is to Have Lois Clean the Kitchen. I can’t find that task for any of my Lois characters. She is upgraded to Max. I must be missing something, but what? (Sorry, I’m rather new at this – Level 40. Thanks for any help.

Can some one tell me which action to use for Cook Out Pt. 3, “Have Lois Clean the Kitchen”. I do not have this as an option. I have updated my ios version and tried the facebook version as well. HELP!

Cookout part 4. Lois has no quest option. You click her task in the task bar it takes you to Lois options but nothing is highlighted to do. Is this a glitch?

I can’t get the hot dog eating competition part… it’s not even listed in the canp mess hall for me to get if I have enough things needed to purchase it. All that’s listed is the talking mixed vegetables and the go kart track. Help!!!

Like his animated task, Get Fresh With A Fridge. Looks hilarious. But cant spare time to do this task until after event. Gene is on a perpetual task of Pranking to earn hotdog tokens!

I’m at camp Griffin pt. 7 and streak 9 in camp wars, so I’m far from seeing Gene, but was wondering, is he one of those “timed” characters ?

I would love to get Gene, but Lois hasn’t dropped a single fondue in the past couple of days, and he still needs two of them. And I haven’t gotten enough badges to unlock the building that drops the fondue either (and the camp wars are too stacked against me at this point to win them), so I’m kind of at a standstill…
