Cosplayers welcome to your Addicts Area…. Yup you asked for a readers page where you could share event tips & tricks and I’ve only gone and called your bluff and created one. So here’s where you can lay all your event progress on the table for your fellow addicts to see.
And it’s also where you can share any strategies or advice, hey you can even share your Comic Con tales. So c’mon Addicts lets Sweat it out together.

Thank god for a glitch a few months ago where I gained 4000 clams from the clam TV. Now I can happily waste clams on events and actually get somewhere. Once they’re all gone, I’m done with the game. It’s gone from fun to frustrating. Pretty much have to wake up to play in the middle of the night to achieve anything!

Does TC really think suddenly putting in a book of nearly impossible quests for a few POWS is going to improve this event? This is the first event I won’t have the first free character by the weekend. Perhaps time to bale??

One and a half days and I’ve only had 2 napkins drop out of numerous attempts. Not a common item. And I’m not spending clams on a character I don’t know.

Drops are going kill this event stone dead in the first week – hoping for a big improvement.

Tips, tricks, strategies and advice from BigDaddy:
– Remember what you did in the last big event.
– Do that again.
– Buy clams and collect stuff.
– Don’t buy clams and just be frustrated.
– Weeks one and two will probably go okay, you will probably get the free things if you put in some effort.
– Buy all the required buildings for drops that will likely have already come from the characters since it costs way too much for the buildings and takes forever to build up the currency. Immediately put them in inventory so as not to crash the game. Sorry, software developers do not say ‘crash’. So the game does not ‘close unexpectedly with no end user interaction’.
– Week three you will get crushed under the avalanche of required items for which you have no chance of getting unless you have clams to rush things, all the time.
– Week four, just forget it. Start looking forward to the mini event.

I’m just as big an idiot as anyone else still here. Still playing it (thus the “addicts” in the name of this site) and like many addicts I know this is not good, it’s not good for me, the product our dealer is giving to us is shoddy now compared to when we started, but dude, we gotta mainline that rush of an unexpected slew of drops when we are expecting empty clicks.
Read my post again, Derek, read how I pretty much explain how we all play this game now, instead of jumping to a conclusion and telling me to leave for another addiction. I want to be in like Flint, baby, I want your ZOWIE game to be my game too! Seeing as I’ve been playing it since 2 weeks after it came out, and have no idea how many real dollars TC got from me, I’m apparently not leaving anytime soon.

Playing on fb, went to make an autograph and got an error message and game froze – here we go again, real close to giving it up after 3 years

They don’t seem to be getting on top of issues, it’s a concern as it’s a tough game, which is fine by me, I don’t want it easy, but these glitches are making it impossible even for the players who put in time and money
