It looks like Week 2’s Cosplay is coming our way!!! Not got a costume? No Problem! You can still play the Quahog-Con event.
I’m seeing the full event on IOS, app version 1.71.5, and pulling info now and I’ll get the LIVE post up as soon as possible. Until then you can throw caution to the wind as there is NO timed character to unlock.
However I know Week One has been tough so thought I’d add a poll to simply ask if you’re ready to move into Week 2 or still stuck in Week 1. Please vote in the poll, it’s only going to be open for 24hrs. But remember you don’t need to have unlocked Nigel to start Week 2, just complete The Long Con Questline.
But once again let me repeat the one bit of good news, there’s no unlock timer on David St Hubbins, although you can earn 40 bonus Clams if you unlock him within 6 days.

Thanks for adding the poll, this is the first long event where I’ve been SOOOOO behind on week 1, even with consistent play every 4 hours. It’s such a drag….Glad it’s not just me, but sorry to everyone else who is probably having as little fun as I am with this…

I guess you thought that you would never be hearing from me again. I stopped playing the game for a long time (for personal reasons) but always planned to come back to the game (and this site) again. I enjoy the game too much to stay away forever. When I heard that one of my childhood faves was arriving in the game (ALF), being the 1980s kid that I am, I knew that the time was right to pick this game back up.
I hope that you have been well and that you have not been put under too much pressure with this site. You have always done a great… scratch that, SUPERB job helping everyone out. 👍
I was sad to hear that Bunny no longer plays (she was such a great, kind and generous friend to me – and indeed all of us). I always enjoyed talking to her. I do / will miss the chats that I used to have with her.
Anyway, I was a bit disappointed to find that ALF was in the Mystery Box (especially when I took a look inside the box and saw that there was also another 16 different things inside). I took a gamble though and was lucky enough to get him on my second try. SCORE!! 😁 I guess that is a sign that I was meant to start playing again.
Anyway, you will be hearing from me again soon. Promise. 🤞
In the meantime try not to let this game drive you up the wall.. 😄

I’ve missed your comments. And am pleased to hear you are well. And glad you got ALF for a minimum clam outlay.
Yes Bunny has departed the site, I’ve been on my own for almost a year now, so there’s been changes, less posts and just trying get the essential information out as quick as I can, which at this time is a little pressing, but all the Addicts are still pitching in with comments to help fellow players.

Thanks RussianTigger, both you and Bunny have always been very kind and helpful. You have both made this such a great and welcoming site to visit over the years.
I used to try and pitch in when I could. Some of the pictures used in the earlier information posts were pictures that I took in my game for Bunny when she needed them (one example was Robot Super Elf, as I won him back when we used to have those *insert bad word here 😄* leaderboards). I don’t think Bunny was able to get him back then. I was glad to help her out here from time to time (when she and the other players needed it).
That is what I really like about this site, there have been many nice people helping to contribute something over the years. 😃
As soon as I started to play this game again this was the first place I came. It is great to talk to you again. I will try to post again in the near future. 👍

Got the last item a couple of hours beforehand – thankfully we didn’t have to get Nigel, although I should have him tomorrow.

Although David isn’t timed to get the bonus you really need to have unlocked Nigel or buy Ace Ventura as they are the only ones who can collect keys needed to craft the items to unlock David and even then it is going to be tough.

Oh, they put Alf (the only character that I actually care about and been looking forward to for the whole event) into a clam mystery box together with lots of junk. Boo!

I have completed 3 tasks from the Quahog-con guidebook but have not seen new ones appear, as usually happens once a task is completed. I am also still trying to complete week 1. Does this change once we move onto week 2?

I’m pretty sure I’ve done over 10 and still have not received him. What happened to the no doubles on things from the mystery boxes? Pretty sure I’ll have it fairly easy beating the rest of the event thanks to all the crap I got… 🙄
