I was ahead of schedule for this entire event…until Stunt Driver Quagmire. I managed to collect everything except for 6 leather gloves. And at 32 Clams per glove, it’s not worth it to just buy out the character (192 Clams…no, thank you.)
The odds of Lois’ winning the Finish Line race were simply too low.

Agreed that this is nearly impossible without clam spending or gettingvery lucky. I’ve been racing every 8 hours with Lois, and I will be 1 or 2 race wins short (depending on how this last one goes).
The best way to have done this would have been to give one of the “win” items on a loss, and three on a win, so it still helps to win but the time and resources aren’t completely wasted on a loss. Event was decently fun but now it leaves with a sour taste.

This character really has no point. He has no part in the main questline and earns you no items for any part of the event. So aside from the bonus clams, this outfit is useless.

Like many others in the last week of an event. By time unlock them Event is ending and apart from clearing their Questline they aren’t seen again.

There is just no way to get this Stunt Driver Quagmire costume in 7 days without spending a ton of clams. In 5/6 days, I have only earned 4 of the 24 hair products and I will never get the chance to place the deco to get the 2 jackets since I barely win the any of the races to the finish.

Unless you really want the outfit for Quagmire, I wouldn’t waste your clams. He doesn’t do anything for the current event anyway (aside from the clam bonus).
