I love, love, love the fast forward feature. Greatest improvement ever. But I hate, hate, hate the costumes/skins. All I want are playable characters. And more land.
In the new event, I’ve got a technical glitch already: I’ve probably earned 50 white hats, but none have credited. I’ve seen the white hats and clicked on them. But my total still shows zero.
Anyone else?

Well, I finished Pt. 7 already. It’s Sunday morning. So I’m done with the entire event — 3 1/2 days early. But I’m still getting drops from all 3 kinds of protesters — even though the items are useless. I thought they were supposed to stop when no longer useful. Anyway, all I can do now is play for the Outsmart the Chicken NPC. I’m at 8/15 on the NPC Chicken.
This one seemed to go much smoother than any before. I didn’t spend any clams or buy any premium characters or buildings. But I did use a lot of free fast-forwarding, which is awesome. The button to locate characters is awesome, too.
My biggest complaint about this event? No new playable characters! For the love of all things holy, please tel TinyCo NO MORE COSTUMES OR SKINS! I wish I could sell the skins I have now. They justbget in the way — pointless scrolling.

The fast forwarding must make on hell of a difference as I’ve bought all premiums and spend over 1000 Clams on others things and I’m still a bit away from getting the Cleveland costume, and still on Part 6 of the Questline.

Same here, freemium character costumes earned, main questline done as well as all side questlines with huge help from the fast-forwarding option. And that is my biggest complain: This game has become too easy.
In the beginning of the second week my game went completely bonkers. I had every character (243) from Tan Lines roaming in my streets and buildings giving all kinds of old rewards. These caused my game to crash all the time and I was locked out for nearly 36 hours until Jam City was able to help me. Still with fast-forwarding I was done with the questline by Monday night and was ready for the final week.
In the final week I stopped fast-forwarding in Saturday morning and went back to collecting free daily clams because I already saw that I was gonna get everything.
I think that during the last six months this game has become easier all together and now with this fast-forwarding its waaaaaaaaay too easy. I’ve always played freemium and was ok with the fact that I didn’t get every new character or finished every questline. That was part of the fun, to see how far can I get without spending real money. Now it’s like most players somehow feel that they are entitled to get everything free. No. Grind like a maniac (=Addict) and use clams to speed up tasks or take it easy and spend real money.

Remember most players don’t have the fast forward function, only a random selection have it. But it sounds as if it’s making a massive difference to the progress of those who have it.

It’s similar to clam TV, there’s players who’ve never had that in their game. But with the rush feature I’m hoping they are testing then will Roll it out to everybody, or the opposite may happen they may remove it as some players are saying it’s just crashing in their games.

I am glad i do not hsve the 2 hour feature, I like a challenging game. It is more rewarding to get a character when you have a chance of not getting it.

The low/medium percentages in the room are a joke. I’ve sent Lois and Cleveland 10 times to the rooms and 8 of 10 times I’m gotten the irate protesters instead of the angry protesters, even though the percentages ALWAYS show low for the irate protestors and medium for the angry protestors. So much for getting the 20 angry music to get the second (totally useless) building.

Yeah, that’s my frustration at the moment. I have 8 Irate Protestors walking around and I just want Angry Protestors or the Swift Chicken, but it keeps trying to give me the Irate ones no matter how many times I try to force it otherwise. As you said, the percentage is Low so why am I getting it all the damn time?

RT huge issue right now: after moving onto phase 3 i am still trying to unlock Statue of Liberty Cleveland but now i cannot get the last book from battling the alien BECAUSE it’s the chicken now in all of the rooms um… what are we suppose to do about that one anybody know ???

It’s almost as though he was a timed character (even though he technically was not). Looks like if he wasn’t unlocked by the end of week 2 then you just won’t get him. Hopefully TinyCo will be in a giving holiday spirit!
